There's something about Powerwolf that is just absolutely infectious. They're so much fun, they're super talented, and their shows look crazy. This video was a ton of fun!

His voice just blows me away. He’s a classicly trained opera singer, so it makes sense.

"If you dislike it, no big deal. There is a dislike button, just click it and move on." I am from the future. Your content is still amazing, and there is no dislike button, much to the dismay of many.

I first heard Powerwolf live when they were the band right before Sabaton went on stage at Sabaton Open Air festival. It was a good night!

For me, and many Powerwolf/Sabaton fans it's hard to avoid comparing this dwo bands. Both power metal bands, both with very characteristic image, sound, and theme (in songs). Both bands are killer live and boi, they like piro. What else? Oh yes, both of these bands have very easily recognizable vocalist when it comes to their voices. I am more Sabaton fan than Powerwolf, but I love PW songs too and I know that there are many people who would want to see Sabaton covering PW's song and PW covering Sabaton's song Have a good one :) Edit: you should listed to Resurrection by Erection by Powerwolf, great song

Brothers of Metal are a pretty fun band

Fun fact from someone who has seen them live twice. They have multiple backdrops and change them after a pair of songs. Also they do a Kabuki drop at the beginning of every show. During the performance of where the wild wolves have gone they let foam rain down as snow. Thats why they have the buckets over the floorlights so the foam doesnt burn onto the lenses

When I read the title I thought it was "Sacrificed by dynamite" and all I could think was "Well, that's going out with a bang"

Napalm records is killing it in the social media game. And by "killing it" I mean they understand basic things like reaction videos are free promotion. Wacken themselves I understand, they're not trying to promote listens on spotify; Wacken wants people to consume their content through them.

I love this band! I agree that they deserve way more recognition in the U.S.

Songs which you have to react imo are "We drink your blood" and "KIllers with the Cross" and "Army of the Night" and "Armata Strigoi". Or just... react to every single song Powerwolf has ever released :D

Equipment wise you should be reacting to "Fire And Forgive" live (maybe some fire in it? Hehe). The best official source I could find is the complete concert recording from the "WDR Rockpalast" channel (german public television). The tracks are outlined in the youtube timeline, so it's very easy to find a certain song.

Seeing Powerwolf live right from the front row was one of the greatest concert experiences of my life. What an insanely amazing band they are!!

I love the parts when you break down how the stage setup is prepared and similar stuff. It is really uncommon for youtube reaction videos and explains the parts that are hidden behind an awesome show.

God I love Powerwolf. They know how to control a crowd. I saw them at Masters of Rock 2018 and Wacken 2019, and they were fantastic both times. I wish they were more popular in the US so I wouldn't have to go across the pond to see them, but I guess it means I treasure it even more.

You should see the "Fire & Forgive"-performance: "Flamethrowers". Or maybe "where the wild wolves have gone" for a little power ballad. Greetz from Cologne/Germany!

Powerwolf is an unbelievably fun show to go and see. I saw them in London a couple of years ago and it was so much fun. They know how to entertain an audience and the stage setup is staggering. They just announced another tour for late next year and I'm holding out that circumstances will let it go ahead! Powerwolf is all about the five of them 'the Bloodred Five', they're a very close-knit band so it makes sense they wouldn't want another live bass member.

I saw Powerwolf for the first time at the "Noch ein Bier Fest" in Gelsenkirchen and they were support for Sabaton. Seeing those bands right one after another was one of the best concerts ever. And last year at Wacken it was the same except there was Airbourne between them which is also a killer band live.

Fun fact: The singers alter ego "Atilla Dorn" is actually a whole character with romanian roots and opera training. Several newspapers in Germany failed to recognize that and reported it as a fact about him.

In the back there is a drop curtain behind the band. They use it like 5 times in the gig. Exactly on the drop of the music. Still gives me goosebumps. and it changes the entire atmosphere

Powerwolf live is just pure fun. And they are damn good live on top of it all.

Powerwolf and Sabaton are the two BEST Powermetal bands!! There is an epic FULL CONCERT of Powerwolf on youtube (Rockpalast 2018) - from WDR, where you can pick single songs. Pleaseee give us more Powerwolf!!

So glad you brought up the different hair. Thought i was going nuts. Also i think a lot of the reason metal bands like PowerWolf arent HUUUUGE in the US is that we really dont have radio stations that play Metal, especially power and symphonic metal which really annoys me. Even satellite radio fails in that regard and it is really sad. Thanks to reactors like yourself though, the word gets out more and we all get to experience a wider variety of bands. There's a vocal trainer, BethRoars, that breaks down both Sabaton's and Powerwolf's singers voices - it's a quick TL;DR version of their backgrounds as vocalists and inspirations to sing. Pretty sure you'll love it, if you like the learning as much as much as the rest of of - hell you love Sabaton so probably :D

Great reaction! These guys are so much fun and pretty competent, too. Sadly, for some of their best songs I couldn't find a good live performance, namely Army Of The Night and Where The Wild Wolves Have Gone. First one has a pretty good official video and the second one plays a studio track over a retrospective of their live shows (also officially from Napalm Records). Both very much worth reacting to! Yo, THANK YOU for pointing out the lead singer's shifting hair style! I noticed it pretty quickly and I thought I was losing it! Otherwise, Powerwolf is seriously one of my favorite bands around, it sucks that they have no intention of touring the US (there's no way I could afford to go to Europe to see them live *sob*) but these shows will just have to do.

I belive the vocalist is actually a trained opera singer, so no wonder why he has such huge pipes! You should react to Fire and Forgive next, if you havent heard it already, my favorite song of Powerwolf, its such high energy!

Their crowd interaction is one of the best I've ever experienced. And yes, they are pretty big in Europe, too bad that the US still needs to catch up. But hopefully that'll change with some of the reaction channels picking them up 😉 keep it up, love the channel!

I have the 10 year anniversary edition vinyl of Blood of the Saints and that thing is fucking AWESOME! The artwork that they put on the vinyl is so pretty!

One of my favourite bands and an amazing band to see live! Armata Strigoi is a great song to listen to, and they do some really good crowd participation in the middle of it.

Interesting to know: There is also a Powerwolf board game (available in all major languages) called "Armata Strigio" plus one Expansion set called "Resurrection". It's pretty complex, much more than just marketing!

Powerwolf is always fantastic. Definitely one of the more breakout bands in the (non us apparently) power metal scene in the past decade or so. Glad to see you're enjoying them more and more!

Love this band, love this song. This one always gets the adrenaline going. I recommend anything by this band I never get tired of listening to them.

I've seen them live twice in the last year and they put on a hell of a show.

I was shocked as well with Sabaton and Powerwolf. If it was not for RU-vid's "You might like this..." I never would have even found Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, and so many more.

This is the first time I am on your channel. I liked your reaction very much. I really liked that you add different facts to the video, it's cool. I recommend listening to their song "stossgebet" (Organ music, latin languge and german, mm.. awesome). Or is it better to watch stossgebet (tour recap video) 2018. They have figured out the pop based formula added into Metal and sounds catchy and cool. Plus, the imagery and mythical tales. Well packaged. Cant complain.

Powerwolf was the first show I took my then 10y/o daughter to in 2018. Their song "Stossgebet", a song about a bishop or even the pope screwing his housemaid, is her favorite song.

That was so good reaction, very educative in production topic. I don't know why but this song remaind me the Alestorm or Gloryhammer style.

Sabaaaaton really got you didnt they XD Never realised the hair length thing XD but i think he just bound them to a ponytail in one set of shots and open in others. Seems to be his real hair so no wig (they do some videos from their pat time on their channel like going to the zoo. he has long hair there ^^) Attila also does a special "technique" that i havent yet heard anyone else do. He drags out the last consonants and emphasises the last in a word to make it longer. like annnnnnnnD this bannnnnnnnnnD rocks harrrrrrrrrrrrD Also...HOOTSFORCE!

Someone mentioned Van Canto, and I recommend their song "Lost Forever" or "Badaboom" (I think you'd really get a kick out of their music video for the latter) in particular! Sadly there aren't really any good videos of their live performances due to bafflingly poor sound mixing. Lastly, they recorded an AMAZING cover of Master of Puppets, but there is no music video for it, and the only live recordings on RU-vid have poor sound mixing and they don't perform the entire song.

Ya its amazing to see the bands outside of the US and the whole reason I got my passport was so I could overseas and see these kinds of bands.

I think at least parts of the video footage used here, were from the show in Ludwigsburg (November 10th 2018), because I believe the singer addresses the crowd at one point and says the cities name.

Great band. You can check their performance in Masters of Rock in Czech Republic few years ago, right about the time they were exploding in the scene

It's a really good sound, the show looks great. Just that after listening some other songs, I missed a bit of variation (most likely I haven't heard the right songs). They surely do have potential. Thanks for showing and for the reaction.

In terms of pyrotechnics, you should definitely check out Rammstein ... Top of the game in that regard ! You can find insane live versions of Du Hast, Engel or Sonne. Those could be a good start ! Cheers !
