You need that legally if you are sleeping while someone else is driving. It is your sleeping seatbelt. I am sure everyone uses them, just do not remove them if you get inspected and you removed them you will have some issues.
Isn't that the DOT regulation that The sleeper berth must be accessible from the inside of the cab without opening the doors requiring the removal of the passenger seat?
@@nickaltvater5592 Oh contraire.. there are regulations for sleeper berth. Part 393.76 www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/retrieveECFR?gp=1&ty=HTML&h=L&mc=true&=PART&n=pt49.5.393#se49.5.393_176
If this were a Ford outlaw I might consider it. Sleeper is rather tight. The word claustrophobic comes to mind. (Btw, Ford’s outlaw was a 1/2 van 1/2 pickup custom. They’re still made but only on demand.)
cost about 15k definitely not worth it i removed the backseat in crewcab plus passenger seat made sleeping bed thats about 80” that goes from back to front. plus mounted fridge and microwave. inverter in the back dark curtains all windows cost me about 2000$ for everything including appliances
Clean your lens before filming, even if you don't think you need it, so that you're always recording your subject unobstructed by artifacts. Use a lens cleaner and a lens safe cloth. Just trying to be helpful. Awesome truck conversion, by the way.
It's not a requirement if installed after 1953: A sleeper berth installed before January 1, 1953 must either: (i) Conform to the requirements of paragraph (c)(1) of this section; or (ii) Have at least two exits, each of which is at least 18 inches high and 21 inches wide, located at opposite ends of the vehicle and useable by the occupant without the assistance of any other person.
Hello I am interested in having my ford f 250 customize with a sleeper cab installed please contact me with the details of what it would cost me to have one added to my truck. Thank you.
If you're going to do it video on sleepers then do the video on sleepers if you're going to do a video on truck accessories then do a video on that , I clicked on this video to see about the sleepers !!!!! Not a bunch of BS
I though the same thing. at 1:29 you can see the rust and it's brand new. Imagine a winter in the salt. That bed kit would be gone. I'd opt for aluminum or stainless.
@@myalaskalife5837 That's true now that I think about it. Why would anyone care what their new truck looks like. It's just a work truck. Plus for that amount of money what can you really expect.
