In this video I install the Roadmaster rear sway bar on my 2020 Ram Rebel part number 1129-135. I believe this kit fits 1500, 2500, and possibly 3500 but verify with Roadmaster before you pull the trigger. .
This solid steel sway bar replaced the hollow stock bar and reduces body roll in turns. This kit came with new end links that needed new bushing in order to fit but after replacing the bushings, everything installed very well.
Super happy with the fitment and the performance of this bar. I could feel a difference on the first turn!

Looks great. Hadn't thought about doing this but now I want to. Will this sway bar work with Rebel's that have the adjustable air suspension?

What made you choose the Roadmaster? I've heard great things about the Hellwig because its adjustable. But wanted to know the difference between the 2 options.

It probably performs just as well as the Hellewig though I cannot positively confirm that. Other reason I went with the rmi bar is it’s the path less chosen. My channel is here to review parts and installs. Everyone and their mother had hellwigs so I figured an rmi review is more valuable for the ram community than another hellwig one.

Where did you buy the package? When I shop around it shows the kit is only available for the Classic RAM (2013-2018) 4th gen. I see your Rebel is a 2020, so that probably means the 2020 set up is the same as the old RAM 4th Gen. I'd appreciate your insight. Thank you

WF41, shweet vid as usual. Do you have any insight as to the Roadmaster stacks up against the Hellwig? Many early adopters like myself went with the Hellwig and I’m curious how they differ with ride/quality/cost. One difference is that Hellwig has three stiffness settings and the roadmaster just has a single setting like stock. Thanks for the vid!

I don’t have a basis for comparison. You can’t go wrong with either brand.

Hello WF41, do you by any chance any part number for the new bushings? I called them up since I ran into the same problem, and the had no clue what I was talking about - any help or hint is super appreciated. Cheers, Mortti

Unfortunately no I don't, I emailed RMI and asked for a new sleeve to fit the 10mm OEM bolt.

@@WaterFowler41 Hello again, sorry about bugging you like this. I spoke with Devin at RMI - great service, but he checked with his manager and they just cannot figure what sleeve they may have sent you. Do you have any advice or thoughts? Once again, thanks for all your help. Mortti

@@morttis6011 I would sent them measurements. Measure the length and outside diameter. You need a bushing sleeve with an inner diameter of 10 MM and the same OD and length as the ones in the current end links.

@@WaterFowler41 You will love this. Thanks again. I called RMI and talked to a fantastic tech support guy called Devin. I think it is the best customer support service I ever received (nopes, I don't work for RMI :) ) . I shared your video with them. Devin, a colleague, and the tech who develops the sway bar took a look at it and remembered your email. They had custom made your sleeves. Devin called me back an hour later and asked where to ship the new bushings and new custom made sleeves they made for me. I paid online, and the sleeves are in the mail already. Incredible service. Thanks for promoting them. :)

@@WaterFowler41 Thanks WF41, I called Roadmaster up and they told me they have a backlog but will start selling the kit again in 4-6 weeks. So I ordered one right away and have to use the best of my patience while waiting. Excellent customer care, I spoke with Shannon. She was not sure if that 1129-135 kit would fit a 2020 RAM 1500 Rebel, but I am willing to try since it worked on yours. Thanks again for great videos, I feel like a copy cat. Hope you don't mind! :) M
