Hi and welcome to our channel!
Who are we:
Scandinavians Arne Nerjordet and Carlos Zachrison are highly regarded designers, textile artists and authors. They are best known for their craft books and their original, colourful and visually striking designs. Their work is highly influenced by their Scandinavian background and their everyday life in rural Norway. They work under their artist name ARNE & CARLOS, which they established in 2002.
We publish a weekly, new tutorial every Sunday on both our RU-vid channel and our Facebook page. We hope you enjoy it!

Thank you for taking us on your trip! I’ve always wanted to see Norway’s fiords. Next time you want to feel the sea, gouge a hole in the sand and when a wave fills it you can have a puddle to dip into. We just grab a scoop or two with our hands, then rinse off in the puddle made. Beautiful sandy shores!

Your scenes on the beach are breathtaking with the white sand and the cluster of mountains in the background. It all had a slightly alien feel, like you had suddenly arrived on another planet.

The most exciting part was hearing the sound of the Beetle's engine! Anyone who has owned one of those vintage vehicles knows that distinctive sound. We had a an old VW bus /camper and it was a fun vehicle for travel and camping. Safe travels!!

The Stave Church was really beautiful. I would have loved to have seen the inside, I hope you show us the pictures you talked about. What a beautiful country you live in! Thank you so much for taking us along on your road trip, it almost feels like I am there with you. How fascinating the "flushing toilet" is, what causes that phenomenon? How exciting to be above the arctic circle, I hope you get to show us the midnight sun. I would like that very much as I always have to have a lot of light on even in the daytime because of my health. If I don't have enough light on I fall asleep while working. I also have to be warm or my brain seems to shut down. It looks cold where you are, what is the temperature? I guess the wind makes it feel colder too. Can't wait to see more of your trip!

When I was in Norway, many years ago, we drove from Bergen to Oslo. The trip took much longer than expected because we kept stopping for beautiful sights all along the way. Such a beautiful country.

In '91 we had the privilege to see some of your country. It was side trip after attending our convention in Ukraine. Seeing sheep cross the road,little villages and seeing the fijords was my favorite sights! Had a toss up to go for convention last year,hard choices since the world is amazing. Went to Johannesburg ,SA instead. You both deserve the getaway break. Have loads of fun!!! Thanks for sharing😊

Me and my partner are travelling around Norway this summer in our campervan. We are from England. It is lovely to see the route you are taking and seeing similar views and sheep on the road. We have seen lots of sheep, snowy mountain tops, lakes, boats, cabins, tunnels, waterfalls, glaciers. We have caught lots of ferry's. We have driven from Oslo all the way up the coast. It is beautiful here and we love it!!! It is nice to see you following a similar journey at the same time.

Are you driving road nr 17? If yes then that’s what we did for our trip. It is considered the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. Enjoy you holiday in Norway!

@@ARNECARLOS yes, that is the road we are on now!! It is very sunny, so we stopped by a small beach and we went to a lovely knitting shop off of road 17. I met a lovely Norwegian knitter and spinner who gave me a bag of Norwegian sheep fleece to take home and spin. We love Norway! We have met so many lovely people here on our road trip. We are heading towards Bodo right now

WOW! This "giant toilet" looks AMAZING! Unbelievable and beautiful! The white sand on the beach, and the beach itself remind me of my home, which is Latvia, Baltic Sea, we've got a very fine white sand there too. Thank you for this beautiful trip ♡

So beautiful! I can just imagine how cold the Arctic Ocean/Sea must be. Near where I live (in South Australia) there is the Antarctic Ocean, which is cold all year round too. I’m really enjoying your road trip videos. Thank you!
