Its been 4 years since I watched this video and fell in love with the Jimny and now I'm finally the proud owner of one. It took a lot of work but couldn't be happier. I cant wait to make my own build and enjoy the car in all types of adventures! This video really inspired me to get my own jimny, greeting from Mexico :).
That’s so far the most reasonable looking & upgraded Jimny, I’ve reviewed a ton of videos & sites to find the best looking one, yours is the winner Sir
You are absolutely right. Besides the looks this jimny is not overkill. 215mm is the jack of all trades. In addition to the special terrain characteristics, the Jimny has another trump card: Because it is narrow, it can go through a dense forest. Think of a dirt bike…
What a great journey. You know, it’s not just the fact you chose the cult jimny for your build that makes this so awesome... it’s the quality of the build, the attention to detail and style, and the overall production quality of your vids. That’s why I cant wait for your next build and have total trust that’s it’s gonna make top quality content.
That means so much to me brother! It sometimes feels like I am going to lose everything I worked so hard to build just because of selling the Jimny. But it’s the guys like you that remind me that my hard work is appreciated by people regardless of the vehicle 👌🏻
Thank you for sharing such a detailed overview of your jimny overlander. I’ve decided to sell my Jeep and put a deposit down on a Black Jimny here in NZ. As the roads here are perfect for a smaller vehicle. As weight is a big consideration I appreciate you experimenting with what worked and what didn’t. Thanks and looking forward to your next build.
I love how unbiased, honest, and in depth you are in your review. Keep up the great work, and congrats on having such a fantastic looking Jimny. I've had my eyes on one for quite a while, and I'm very close to pulling the trigger.
Its a great little car; but just make sure to keep to its spirit and keen it light and nimble and you will be able to enjoy it for many years. IF you plan to overload it like I did, you will be selling it sooner than you expect.
Awesome vehicle! We can see how interesteed you were in putting high quality material on it. Thanks for the ideas and insights about all those upgrading. These video will be worth for many years!
This tiny vehicle is the greatest "little overlander" I can imagine. You did a great job by fitting all these accessories to this car. Congrats. Wish you many further trips with your next project.
Great video! There are certainly options now when it comes to the liquid storage options. Extended fuel tank and rear bar Jerry storage holders help keep the liquid weight much lower keeping your COG lower and help to reduce that overloading on the roof. That’s my plan for mid year.
Excellent overview of your Jimmy. It was like a final obituary and in the final shots it just looked like it was sitting there so proud and saying thanks! I don’t know how you can film this without a tear in our eye! Don’t know what the overall cost has been in building but it must have given you loads of pleasure. Hope you next build brings you as much fulfilment. All the best from UK. Mike
Mike, it’s been an absolutely pleasure getting to build this vehicle up! I haven’t had this much fun on a project before! Its definitely an emotional time saying good bye to my little mountain goat 👌🏻 I think the next build is going to also be quite incredible, just because of the places it will allow me to see
Really well explained with simple terms & easy to follow pace of narration. Come to India & build a 5-Door Jimny, would be awesome to see the first of its kind for the world. All the best in your future endeavors...
Throughly enjoyed that. Some lucky devil is buying a lovely rig off you soon. You've done a cracking job pushing the limits of the Jimny and trying new things. Many owners like me wouldn't be enjoying theirs as much (i.e. Jimny RTT camping) without seeing what was possible 🙌🏼 Will tune in for the new build as it unfolds. The builds are as fun to watch as the travels. Cheers man 🤜💥🤛
Hahah thanks buddy! And thank you for sending me those lovely little leather goods! I think in my absence people are in good hands when it comes to Jimny related things with people like you around 👌🏻
Thank you so much for the videos and your channel , it has been great watching the Jimny out and about in Africa . You are a great presenter and I’m looking forward to watching more videos from you .
Suzuki Jimny harisma comes from that ...that is very pratical car....today cars are way too big ....way tooo complicated....Jimny is pure practicality and amazing tribute to old designe ...i reallly love it!
Hello, I love the Jimny. We are about to buy one and build our own mini camper. The question is which tent did you use the 1.20 o1.40? Great films btw!!👍💪
Its always sad to say goodbye but a new adventure awaits right... Nice video once again and cant wait for the next one. Waiting for my roof rails so that i can mount my eezi awn rooftop tent.
Hey Bud, what an awesome little overlanding setup, I'm sure you miss your Jimny already but an exiting new build with the hilux. Cant wait to see what you do with the hilux. Hope you keeping well during these weird times!
@@RoamOverlanding yeah lockdown has caused many people a huge amount of discomfort. 4 months of sitting and working from home is not lekker. Need a break from being stuck at home.
Great car dude! Did you enjoyed this grey colour? I would like to buy manual transmission Jimny in Ivory (Sand) colour, but it's not available in my region, maybe with 6+ month wait time, so looking for other options like Medium grey or Jungle green :/
Hey Adrian, sad to see the Jimny go, however excited to see what you get up to in a "lux" Keep safe man and see you through the windscreen 👍🏻 BTW great rig walkthrough
What a cracking review, hands down the best review on RU-vid, well done, I heard you say you are selling, any particular reason why? Absolutely love what you have done
Great vid. Is there a reason you didn't leave your water and petrol jerry can inside the vehicle and the bulky but light ones such as your bags and utensils on the roof rack (of course inside an air and dust proof box?
I wish I can buy this vehicle, and take it off road !! Btw, did you make any changes to the power ? on my guess, it will be lack of power when it is fully loaded? P.S gonna rent a jimny for a weekend in Mid-August, hope my so, and I will have a chanve to purchase one in soon future.
Your videos are excellent! I love the adventures you take with your Suzuki Jimmy. Looking forward to seeing more videos! By the way if you ever need embroidered patches, I embroider them from USA :)
