Warrior cats fire and ice: The reason in the name of the book is that fire means Fireheart and ice means Graystripe because they argue most of the time because Graystripe broke the warrior law by meeting Silverstream.

i need to take out my frustration on river of fire. dear god. protagonist i already forgot the name of visits starclan and meets cinderpelt, who basically just tells them "i loved firestar all along but yknow, i was a medicine cat" which, shameless fanservice aside, reduced her entire character to pay lip service to something that was never brought up in the first arc.

I think the roast for ASC (every book) should’ve been that nightheart got BIT by a SQUIRREL because who on earth gets BITTEN by a SQUIRREL-jayfeather

Mainline Roasts Into the Wild: Begins with a young cat corrupted into a cult. Fire and Ice: Bigoted cult insists on making things more difficult for everyone for no reason. Forest of Secrets: Literally no one else except young cat notices obvious similarities between two cats. Rising Storm: Young cat tries to indoctrinate younger cat and refuses to give him agency and almost lets a genocide happen. A Dangerous Path: Young cat usurps power from dementia matriarch while fighting the result of some human incompetence. The Darkest Hour: An evil simping cat fails to murder anyone he tries to over and over again. Midnight: POV 1: A young she-cat broods over stuff. POV 2: A tomcat goes to a meeting with a predator in what could've been -an email- just told immediately. Moonrise: POV 1: The same young she-cat overhears conspiracy and says nothing, and gets herself captured. POV 2: A different tomcat ditches a crush, hypocritically lambasts another cat's crush, and gets Stockholm Syndrome. POV 3: ~no notes, there's nothing to roast here, only two chapters~ Dawn: Everyone walks a lot. Starlight POV 1: The same she- cat forgets about sistahs before mistahs, and for the broodiest choice possible. POV 2: The same cat from Midnight POV 2 gets vulnerable to indoctrination for no reason. Twilight POV 1: See Starlight. POV 2: The young she-cat's sister strings along a tomcat as an operation jealousy plot rather than just chilling. Sunset POV 1: The she-cat broods about everything POV 2: A different evil simping cat fails to indoctrinate or murder anyone of consequence. The Sight: Cat Olympics, and a disabled cat is treated like garbage. Dark River: Nothing happens. Outcast: The cults get White Savior Complex. Eclipse: The cults get trolled. Long Shadows: The cults get trolled some more. Sunrise: A she-cat goes hysterical, creates mass hysteria, and runs away. ~didn't bother with any of the next series or after but this one, just to cap off the end of Firestar~ The Last Hope: Some cats die twice the same way they died the first time. Side Roasts Firestar's Quest: Young tomcat gets White Savior Complex, abandons everyone he holds dear for it. Redtail's Debt: A really young tomcat hero-worships egotist and gets killed for it. Blackstar's Reckoning: A really stupid cat continuously bootlicks for villains, takes no responsibility, and gets 9 lives anyway. Greystripe's Vow: PART I: An old, frail cat runs away to certain death, but finds something worse...LARPERs PART II: An upstart apprentice isn't punished for insubordination.

I’m only up to the fourth apprentice so let’s roast arcs 1-3 Into the wild: haha funny housecat joins cult because he wants to catch a mouse Fire and ice: Woah! house cat isn’t even old enough to become a warrior and gets an apprentice! Yippeee! Forest of secrets: I forgot what this book was about other than like Tigerclaw’s exile lol Rising storm: Ex-Housecat gets made second in command because first in command has no idea who is trustworthy anymore, also fire. But it destroys the clan. Spottedleaf curse you!!! A dangerous path: OMG! Evil villian guy gets made leader of the clan that chooses terrible leaders! Second in command is gasping in utter shock!!! Also isn’t Bluestar like gone for half of the gatherings in this book? WAIT SHES DEAD NOW- The darkest hour: Second in command goes to the magical blue crystal with his former apprentice who apparently had a crush on him. So he becomes the leader, Fire-man. OMG THERES A NEW VILLIAN AND HE KILLED THE OLD GUY! Talk about last minute changes. Time to use the power of friendship to kill him! Arc 2 at 10 likes ig

After Graystripe returned in The Place of No Stars he was giving major buff Uncle Iroh vibes.

Roasting arcs 1 2 and 3 im too lazy to do the rest Into the Wild - Why are they letting their 6 month old kitten outside Fire and Ice - How did no one in ShadowClan think it was Brokenstar stealing the prey Forest of Secrets - Golly gee I wonder why Oakheart could possibly have said his BLUE kit is not to be harmed by ThunderClan Rising Storm - Why didn't Runningnose just drag Nightstar to the Moonstone? Is he stupid? A Dangerous Path - Why is Tigerstar just allowed to walk around the territories of other clans? Shouldn't he be leading ShadowClan? The Darkest Hour - I sure do love killing off the main villain and replacing him with a worse one at the last second Midnight - Why does everyone just let Squirrelpaw do whatever she wants? Moonrise - "Go fistfight a Gorilla and I'll give you a kiss" Dawn - What was the point of having Leafpaw chapters in the last two books if almost all of the forest being destroyed is in this book? Starlight -The whole Mudclaw situation could've been avoided if these cats just talked to each other foronce Twilight - So like 50 badgers decided to just kill all the cats because one of them got kicked out of her house? Sunset - Leafpool I know the prophecy you don't have to tell me every other chapter The Sight - hey did you know that BRAMBLECLAW AND SQUIRRELFLIGHT are these kits parents? LEAFPOOL is NOT their mom!!!!! And oh boy they sure are glad that CROWFEATHER IS NOT THEIR DAD!!!! Dark River - Why are ThunderClan so mad about WindClan hunting squirrels? They eat rabbits all the time Outcast - Why does the tribe not just kill the rogues. They fight hawks daily and live in the mountains, you don't need battle training when you are a wall of muscle Eclipse - Why does anyone listen to Sol? Long Shadows - Why did Hollyleaf stop Lionblaze from killing Ashfur in the Fire Scene? Is she stupid? Sunrise - A whole lot of nothing until the very end

You could’ve just said all of arc 2 is extremely forgettable (except for hawkfrost because being hot matters in the eyes of the fandom)

Thunder rising and river of fire literally have the same cover just flipped around, the raging storm and thunder and shadow are just different shots of two cats awkwardly looking away from each other, and the raging storm just sounds like the rising storm. Funny thing, so every protagonist ever has their mentor die motivating them to go on their hero journey, but if heavystep was your mentor he wouldn't die making it impossible to go on your hero journey, it it an interesting price to never have your mentor die, so would you rather never be a protagonist but have your mentor never die, or be a protagonist but have your mentor die?
