14:42 They didn't skip over it, there's no anime adaptation for Danganronpa V3. You're thinking about Danganronpa 3, which has nothing to do with the 3rd game. Danganronpa 3 is about the students after the killing game in their sort of semi-RoD/semi-student forms (like how Hajime only has 1 red eye there instead of fully becoming Izuru). It was made before Danganronpa V3 came out. - ALSO note that even if they were planning on making adaptations for all the games, one for DR2 would ruin the meta. The whole idea of the ending is that they're in a game, none of the jokes would translate if it was animated, unfortunately.

Watching this made me realize how heavily I inflate my own MAL scores, as I have always ranked shows like school grades-that being 70% is considered average. Seeing 5's considered as average seems so foreign to me, it feels like everything is rated way too low, but in reality its more that my own scores are inflated quite a lot.

I haven't seen a ton of anime (and don't know that I ever will unless it's a job like it is for Joey), but I initially was doing the same thing. I went back and re-rated things to better reflect scores, because I think people are afraid to go below 5 or even 6 on MAL most of the time, which just inflates scores.

All KyoAni + Key shows looks so nostalgic: Kanon, Air, Clannad... Key since then made some animes with P. A. Works and other studios, but those from KyoAni are pure gold, no less.

14:35 actually the anime of danganronpa 3 (2016) was made before the danganronpa V3 (2017) came out and the game is not based on the anime but is the other part of the story.

I gave it a 9 because the last few episodes were setting up for something that never happened. The MC's story got a wonderfully crafted conclusion and it would've been enough, but they went out of their way to make us wonder who the old-looking dude really is and what he's planning, but yet did nothing with that thread it just started weaving. That was my only disappointment. If not for that, it's a 10/10.

Uhh i think Joeys editor messed up the clips at 9:33. He showed clips of Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? that Joey gave a score of 6 to at 7:05 in the video and not the clips from Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de. Just thought that i should mention it since i didnt see any other comments about it.

I hated Code Geass, it tried to act way more intellectual and deep than it actually was, or even had any right to be. Especially when better alternatives, that Code Geass could have taken cues from, came out and out shined it in every possible way. Not terrible, just a waste of time with all the better alternatives, some of which proceeded it by decades. On the other hand, Cowboy Bebop is an absolute masterpiece and not finishing it is almost criminally negligent for an animation fan. Not just anime, all animation, period.
