Tbh same. in addition to me realizing that i dropped a lot of animes once I thought they weren't interesting, my list ended up shorter than i expected. They all seem to be either highly rated or average too because the really bad ones i just can't bother to rate.

same tbh i started watching when i was around 12 and completely stopped when i turned 13 and now it’s been years and have just started watching anime again last year. when i actually made the list i realized i’ve only watched around 25 anime (excluding the ones i dropped back then) now i’ve had more due to quarantine lmao, i even started reading manga which i’ve never done before

Same here. I've started and/or am currently watching about 30 anime (I'm still fairly new) but I've only actually finished a few of them. Like, I know enough about most of them to have a conversation about them and be engaged in the series, but not enough to actually finish them.

Well that makes me relieved that I only listed 70s anime on MAL so far, even though I watched anime since 2011 or so? I only watched when I have a LOT of spare time... since in quarintine, I managed to finish 15 eps a day which is really a lot to me

@@dre_ocean Yeah, I'm similar to you. I can max out at about 11-15 episodes per day if I have nothing else to do, but my parents have a school schedule for me so I can't watch that many even though we're in quarantine. I also struggle to watch more than a few hours at a time, as I feel like I need to continuously get moving or something like that.

Ciel Phantomhive I am 13 and I have 3 10/10s 1. Cowboy bebop 2. Jojo’s bizarre adventure 3. Hunter x Hunter Hunter x hunter was my first anime and now I am currently watching attack on Titan and my favourite out of these and the worst anime I have seen was fairy tail I haven’t even seen the whole series I just watched a couple of episodes Note : I am still a new otaku I have just about 10 shows deep into anime

@@ArcticZombie The plot twists were what made it for me a masterpiece of an anime, specially if you've watched the entire series, and the light novel. There may be plot holes but that's what made the anime make those twists, and 'time' is still yet to be understood at this time of age so there's no clear explanations in real life. The anime followed a certain time theory which is only one of the 11 - 13 theories, following that certain theory though still left them plot holes in the series. 😕

I really wish more people knew about Detective Conan. Its honestly an amazing show, with a fascinating overarching plotline. Of course, there are the filler episodes, but when every episode is a new murder mystery, how can you complain? Its a great show, I really recommend it to people looking for something to watch or even just have a good time with

Dude I feel the same way I tried to do it one time and I started with just Leiji Matsumoto stuff because it's some of my favorite but I haven't seen a lot of that stuff in so long I don't really know how to rate it especially compared to stuff that I watch nowadays. I mean I probably hold Galaxy Express 999, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Azumanga daioh, all pretty equally in my heart they all played a big role in me loving anime throughout my life... But even if I gave them all tens or nines I feel like maybe from an outside perspective it wouldn't make sense to hold them all in the same regard.

Steins Gate has one flaw that unironically ruined my enjoyment of it. The episode where MC tries to save his assistant/friend and dies multiple times. He, despite having infinite time due to time travel, refuses to spend said time planning a plan and just tried to bum rush and run away with her. I genuinely wanted to drop the anime after that episode but I didn't, I rated anime 6 but arguably if that episode was better written then Steins Gate is solid 8

once youre done binging all the mainstream shit, you start wanting more then looking at more under-rated shows. after that point you tend to join the seasonal anime hype. thats when your list reaches the hundreds lol. ive watched 300+ anime but ive been watching since i was 11 so 10 years now, not really grinding at all.

FMAB was definitely a good show. The only thing I hated was Ed's personality. Very little character development, in the end, he was still the same impulsive, emotional, and idealistic boy after all those events. Overall, I gave it a 9/10.

Joseph Earl Caresosa, Edward gets plenty of character development and changes significantly: It's all about Edward Elric choosing humanity over alchemy. Since the beginning, he was arrogant and has always believed that the only way to accomplish any of his goals was through alchemy, but not here. Here he chooses to give up instead and commit to a final sacrifice to regain what truly mattered. He's realized that alchemy is not the most important thing in the world - that in fact, it's the bonds he shares with other people. He doesn't need alchemy to be able to solve and fix things, he can rely on others. This is why Ed won and not Father. It's because he understands Truth. This imho is the climatic scene of the whole show, because when you get down to it, the show is really just about people and the strength of humanity as a whole.

Anime implied that he ended up with Airi and I see no problem with that. Kayo had to live her life because if she didn't then all the shit Satoru had to go through would've been a complete waste. One thing I didn't like about the ending was Kayo being ended up with Satoru's homosexual friend.
