Today we walk from Aberfoyle to Callander, following the line of the Highland Boundary Fault and the Menteith Hills, with views across Loch Venachar towards Ben Ledi, Ben A'an and The Trossachs.
Another good video, Eddie. Spent many a time in Aberfoyle as a kid as my Grannie Thorpe lived on Limecraig Avenue, and her and my Granddad lived down the hill on Duke's Pass before that. Used to go fish for wee fish off the bridge in town. Loved playing in the woods round there, and especially when my Uncle Bertie Thorpe came up and took all us kids on walks through the forest. Great days. Go through there a lot on my travels around Scotland.
Many thanks. The village suffered for a while through poor public transport, and a lot of businesses went to the wall. I think I saw something about Aberfoyle on the TV that suggested things may be picking up, although obviously not at the moment with the pandemic.
