Taylor’s most humble performance, she gave Robbie the stage knowing he ‘owns’ Wembley and Robbie proudly supporting Taylor wearing her tour shirt. These 2 admire and respect each other, sooooo beautiful to see and hear.
It was such a magical moment in the show to hear the crowd like that was insane! But what was more amazing was that the night before as we all left the stadium this song played and everyone sang along as we walked home and then when I went back the second night and she actually played this it was so surreal ❤️
@@migueltoledo4404 I live in America and I don't know a single lyric of any of Taylor's song so u are 100% wrong LOL. The song is just THAT well written . It has nothing to do with where he is from.
I think Robbie is totally overwhelmed at the experience. He looks like he's trying to hold back the tears in front of Taylor. I love Taylor and her beautiful, genuine reaction to the crowds response.
@@ladesigner8764 well I mean she only recently broke the record for fastest selling Tour. A record Robbie Williams held for almost 20 years and nobody but Taylor could match all those years. Of course he is no Taylor, but actually quite close to it.
@@ladesigner8764 Why do you have to compare them? They were and are great singers, great performers we all can enjoy. Stop being so pathetic to think being a fan of her makes you part of her achievements, it does not. All you can do is enjoy great music and great performances whereever, whenever and by whomever. It really does not matter if you think Taylor is better than Robbie, nobody cares, because it's completely irrelevant.
I think he's more overwhelmed that the crowd is obviously there for Taylor Swift and given that they are probably the generation born after Robbie released this song says a lot about his impact on us. Love love LOVE THIS!
@@mogadon7she doesn't have a limited range. She's got a different range from Williams and she decided not to adapt it for her benefit so that Williams could shine at HER show. Classy lady
In my opinion, Taylor Swift is one of the most phenomenal artists of the last decade. She recreated herself so many times within the last decade to entertain us and hurt herself in the process emotionally.
@@rabbithollow6198 she do what she want! She's a good singer. Artist of the decade. She can do both! It's her life you don't decide for her so stfu pls
It was AMAZING, one of the best moments of my live concerts ever, I start crying when realized which song Taylor was singing and my daughter started asking me who was him. WEMBLEY was the loudest I've ever heard. Bless you Taylor!!
This is a super common misconception... Taylor's most loyal fanbase are all millenials in their 30s who grew up listening to same 90s songs that she did.
Angels is almost 30 years old but you play this ANYWHERE in England and the crowd will sing it right back to you. Taylor picked a winner right there and this is my first time seeing this 💙
It’s not very often you see TS upstaged and in awe of the person sharing the stage with her. Robbie OWNS this song, it’s his signature piece, and nobody can croon it like he can. Not even Taylor Swift. You have to hand it to TS for knowing her audience and having Williams join her at Wembley. What a performance!! RW will be singing this song for the rest of his life!
Taylor Swift is one cool cat. I think she's awesome and I love the way she made Robbie the star even though it's her concert. Respect to that lovely lady.
Well Taylors that s that singer, I wonder who was more blown away by the crowd, Robbie ortaylor they should do angels on reputation Taylors version live and when it's safe to do concerts again, they should do Angels in concert together
Nobody talking about the guitarist? Wow.. IMAGINE having that amount of pressure having freeking Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift sandwiching you and still being able to focus and hit every note on his electric guitar. To me, he was the real star who stole that show 😖😖🌍🌍👑👑
To be fair, he's the guitarist that has been working with Taylor since 2007, so he's probably not bothered lol. But he is great, I still love to see him at her performances
As a 90s kid this gives me a lot of goosebumps. Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift in one stage, thank you TS for giving respect & a salute to my generation.
how tf is that possible?? i just saw the documentary about rw and a scene with him and ts on stage.. and i needed to search for the performance, and im just sitting here in tears watching this. two artists, who have so much respect to each other. and even if ts is the most succesful artist EVER, she gave rw his moment on her stage, having so much respect, giving him all the spotlight in this moment and letting him celebrate this moemtn with his legendary song. this is art, this is entetainment, this is music as its finest. im overwhelmed. thank u for this moment, taylor swift and robbie williams.
And Robbie williams career is immense. His live at Kneboworth is probably one of the best show ever and one of the biggest show ever in term of attendance (375 000 people over 3 concerts) @@Butterflieslove2
I’ve seen this so many times, and each time I’m left in total awe. The amount of background noise from the crowd singing is completely overwhelming and unique to this one moment. I adore Taylor for doing this- ‘Angels’ is one of those songs which is guaranteed to make any Brit belt their lungs out, whether you’re a fan of Robbie or not.
Everyone saying "two generations" and here's me, being the same age as Taylor and we GREW UP listening to Robbie! When did Taylor's fandom get so much younger than they wouldn't recognize the legend in stage? 😭❤ Nothing wrong with it, it just got me feeling so old 😂
She loved it and after she hugged him and said “OH MY GOD!!!!” She couldn’t believe the crowd and it was kind of mind blowing for her. I loved that he had her T-shirt on. Both honouring each other. It’s up there with Queen live aid performance. 💙
Nothing to be taken away from Taylor Swift but Robbie Williams is the best on stage performer with large crowds ever in all music industry. She couldn’t even believe his magic by her Oh My God comment on the last minute.
Dave Grohl once said it feels unfair watching Queens of the Stone Age play live, because of how good they are as a live band. I feel like that's what Robbie Williams is to pop, he just is a natural born performer who is just there to take the crowd with him and other performers must see him play angels or let me entertain you and just shudder that such simple, unpretentious music is brought to life by him. As much of a global success TS, she was sharing the stage with a true master of live performances who has earned his place on that stage.
This is one of the most emotional songs to sing along in a concert and that makes it such a perfect live song. I've been lucky enough to see him performing live a bunch of times and usually this is the last song and that's what also makes it more emotional and even sad to hear it.
Agreed! It's my mums favourite song, and we went to the take that tour at wembley when they reunited with Robbie, and he did his solo set and sang this we were both in floods of tears! I think the pimms played a part too though 😂
Taylor was really enjoying herself, you can see in her smile she's both a lovely person inside and outside and she's doesn't let the success she richly deserves for all her work get to her.
Thank you internet so the whole world is able to witness moments like this. I am absolutely blown by the energy and humility, a great reminder on how you can create something big by remaining small. "Without music life would be a mistake." 😊
It was an amazing moment to witness! But what was more amazing was that the previous night this song played as everyone was leaving the stadium and walking home and then when I returned for the second night and she played this song it was so surreal and a wonderful coincidence ❤️
Totally agree with other comments she just let Robbie take the stage which he well deserved his voice amazing and its just such an iconic song damn wish I had was there lol amazing love Taylor ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you imagine what that feels like to be up there and have that sonic tidal wave come at you from the mouths of all of those people? That has got to be absolutely insane.
I'm a sixty five year old Australian woman and it's November 23. I love this so much. There was a tragedy in my little town in central Victoria last Sunday. 💔 I've played this song everyday since. ❤❤❤ Thank you Robbie. 🙏 Thank you Taylor 🙏
I am a rock, heave-rock and metal guy. But I grew up in the 90s and Robbie coming up in the beginngn must be one of the greatest moments in mondern live music history 🥰
Angels is one of my favourite songs, and it just happened to be on the radio in the birthing suite when my son was born. Taylor is my favourite artist. The two together.. fabulous. The song always makes me emotional
this made me sob omg. robbie is my fist love, my favourite of all time and taylor is my newest favourite person ever 🥺 every time i hear a crowd like that for robbie it makes me so full of joy ugh
I just recently stumbled upon this video. Today I came back. It brought tears to my eyes, it made my soul melt, this is a marvelous piece of entertainment, it’s world class. This mutual respect for one another, this shared love for music, the will to excite this crowd at Wembley. Oh how I wish I was there…
Great performance, brought me to tears. My interpretation of the song is this: It's about a guy who's been burned by love (Maybe more than once?), now he has decided to let his "guardian angels" guide him in love and life.
I am Chilean, I am 19 and I always listen to Robbie, his songs and this one in particular is unique, he moves masses just by listening to him, an icon 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😃😃🎶🎵🎶🎼
Taylor totally allowed him that stage and this is where we have crossovers x I'm 49 and I was a total take that and then Robbie fan x Then this happens and I'm in awe of Taylor and a proud swifty! 👏
