So Vanita is a bugged servant - they've fixed the bug now but for a couple days she was actually a god, not only was she a god who's capable of soloing the whole server, but she could also open the doors on any base.
Great to see the V Rising content coming! The rat form is absolutely the best thing about this game. Whenever I switch servers, that's the only thing I get sad about losing.
@@nuclearmusic77 I haven’t tried out bat form yet. Been caught up in early game trying perfect my speed run up to Iron. But for me, I like rat form cause it reminds me a lot of Conan Exiles… basically finding a way into someone’s base without using any kind of raiding materials (the rat plays). And I find it hilarious that a game lets you turn into a rat… that’s just epic, lol.

@@Zelosykes it’s definitely one of the harder bosses. I beat him at 72 with the help of a 78 friend. The boss is level 76 I think. Frog form is also very helpful for jumping fences and that can be beaten around 65

Once the golem breach the first door (takes a little while between the summoning process and the actual dmg it deals) every source of dmg is functional till the timer runs out. Magic deals a ton of dmg but melee weapons are even better (sword's Q for example) To speed things up there's the big explosive charges (they cost very little while in endgame and you can breach a wall with 2 of them) Best way to defend is to use properly servants, cemeteries and ofc the layout to jump behind attackers and safely retreat. Servants with high level gear retain their abilities and are influenced by item level. Place them in bottlenecks or where they don't really expect. Golem can be destroyed quite easily that way. If you don't have access to the silverlight area (northwestern) good ones are the brutes and the dreaded fire archers Another good strat is to keep a good number of tombs functioning with either skeletal priest or directly banshees IF attackers breach that area they simply end up swarmed by an endless spawn of skeletons OR by teleporting, chainfearing banshees. But yes, as things are now offline defences are almost impossible to keep up unless attackers are really bad or other groups counter them
From my first playthrough I think having some Lightbringers, Paladins, and Clerics in the base would make it much harder to raid. Big tanky guys, hard to hit little casters, and healers. But things like the chaos bolt are just so strong, especially if you have good scholar blood. You can trivialise the whole game with 100 scholar blood and chaos bolt/purgatory.
Super hyped to see you enjoying a game for a change! I do wonder what happened on that last Conan playthrough--I get the impression you have more footage from it stored and just haven't edited it into a good story yet--but I also reckon you're going to want to focus on V Rising content for a while, at least while it's still fresh and at its most exciting, and I'm happy as long as you're making these stories. Algos compromised to appease advertisers, and profiteering publishers learn how to exploit the algos to boost their drivel to the top of queries, once again burying niche information back into obscurity. Nothing like running in circles.
The server I played on only let you damage stone walls after you started a raid, which only works if you summon the golem. After that you can smack walls or use explosives but not before (unless the castle is decaying). Dunno if that's vanilla.
Hey theres a new pvp server called resurrection classic pvp i feel like you should try it out it benefits your play style and its active 24/7 i feel like you guys should give it a try

Convinced me to buy the game with the first video, so a second one is great to see. I enjoy the game but i wish the later game resource grind wasn't so lethal lol, cant convince my friends to play it and collecting it all solo sucks. Edit: I have also made that same mistake with the Werewolf villagers lol.

Unlike funcom, I don't have the norwegian government to bail me out. Nobody likes ads, but I've got bills to pay - it is what it is. There's no other way for me to keep putting in the time that I do into this channel. If it wasn't for sponsorships, I was going to take the channel down after the solo series. I just thought that you would prioritise your morals over your career. If you need to compromise what you believe in to make youtube videos it probably isnt worth it imo.
