Morris said repeatedly that he was restored Biblically. If he was dealt with Biblically, according to 1 Corinthians, he would have been removed from the church, and turned over to the law. That's what is biblical for a person called a brother who's living in sin. The elders when this occurred did a very serious and criminal cover up.

The entire Morris family should step away from the gateway church and all satellite churches. The family knew this crime since they are the elder of the church, and went through the legal process when the victim was trying to sue them years ago. If Robert Morris just plans to pass the church to his son and hopes the whole thing will go away, it is just disgusting manipulative behavior for the entire Morris family.

Just watched Justin Peter’s interview with Morris’s former friend and ministry partner. Whoa 😳 Thanks Kris for exposing this. It’s much worse than was first reported. Lord grant healing for the victim and repentance and salvation for Morris and those in his ministry that knowingly protected him.🙏✝️

No one should be blaming the victim. How do you blame a 12 year old???? As a biblical counselor, i see many trauma victims who dont deal with past trauma until later in life. It's a sad situation, but he needs to be accountable.

Should have been TERMINATED w ALL Benefits terminated. Criminal charges NEED to happen!!! Was Elders responsibility to look into this 30 years ago!!!

As a molestation victim myself I don’t understand how the parents didn’t do anything then. The person who did this to me was caught in the act and my mother went straight to the police and justice in my case was served and he went to prison for 25 years. This is what should have been done here. Oh by the way I am still having problems dealing with it now even after all these years

The first time I heard Robert Morris speak, I could not believe the arrogance, narcissism and the manipulation and sarcasm dripping from this man's mouth.He sure knows how to twist and turn every scripture to make it about the tithe and money. I might sound unloving and even unchristian, but I feel no empathy for this man and if the statue of limitations did not expire in the state of Texas, he should be criminally charged.

This man NEEDS to go to jail for his crimes against an innocent.l. Period. Pedophilia is a CRIME. No matter how many counselling sessions he’s gone to. If a teacher is caught with committing the crimes of pedohilia he is not allowed to work as a teacher for the rest of his life . A pastor is not exempted.

Before you can ask for forgiveness you need to repent of your sin. Robert Morris constantly down played his actions and engaged in victim blaming which shows he hasnt taken full accountability of his actions. I pray he does so and that his victim receives the justice she deserves.

The Elders dropped the ball big time! They should have had a real investigation 30 years ago. They need to clean house with them as well the elders are meant to protect the flock. Criminal charges for Robert and for his wife who knew and acted liked it was no big deal.

And the baton will likely be simply handed to his son! Morris has lived a lie all these years, PLUS preaches a false gospel and Christ. I pray his 'ministry' entirely dissolves for the sake of the church. His teachings are abhorrent.
