In this video I go through the pedals in my custom made, stereo pedal board. I discuss delay settings as well as reverb, overdrive and other effects for a vintage or rockabilly inspired guitar sound. (With ability to tap speeds and turn on and off multiple effects easily)
Now, (of course) you don't need pedals to play perfectly traditional rockabilly music... but I'm not trying to do that. (Though I’m sure I’ll continue to get rockabilly-splained in the comments) …I'm just as influenced by huge cinematic bands like Pink Floyd and the Cure, as well as Indie Rock, Punk, Shoegaze, Surf Guitar, Jazz, Swing, and even singer songwriter stuff from multiple decades... so I'm just combining things I love and making my own thing out of it. Music does not have rules. The legends broke rules and used contemporary gear for their time... so in my opinion, it's fine to use whatever you want, and do whatever you want, as long as you are happy doing it.
Enjoying a style of music and incorporating it into your style does not mean you have reenact the past. (Though I do enjoy artists who do that too!)

Featured pedals include: Keely limiting amplifier, Keeley Memphis Sun, Strymon Blue Sky, Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive, Tavo Vega Nocturne Atomic Brain, Mooer Red Truck, and the Shure GLD16 wireless and tuner. I use my Epiphone Sheraton 335 with Brian Setzer TV jones pickups, and a Bigsby. The amp is a Vox mini3.
I just use my board to record, and it allows quick changes with diverse and nuanced results.
