"In the past I let you win. This time I won't hold back." Meaning batman was clearly holding back in this fight. Batman could've hurt him badly if he wanted too but didn't.
Zoe for 1 he clearly hit robin a couple of times he just wasn’t trying if he wanted to he end the fight before it even started 2 Batman has fought and trained the other robins and they where kids
Jasmine K. Heart no way the pipsqueak can beat him So I just re-read my comment, I would like to explain it, I meant that Damian no chance of beating Batman
Okay, so Damian came out on top by the end of this, but why do people seem to think this means in a straight up fight, Batman would lose? Looks closer, Batman was holding back so much it's not even funny. 1. He only blocks and dodges Damian, until he uses a weapon (the smoke bomb). Then he starts fighting back. In a few hits he stuns Damian enough to lift him up, and was probably about to try and talk him down at that point. 2. Once he strung up Damian, he didn't attack him although he could have, because he doesn't want to. Again, I reckon he was gonna let him struggle a bit, and then talk him down, but Damian broke free. 3. When Batman sees that they're about to hit the ground/tree, he stops fighting Damian and protectively holds him so that he takes the brunt of the fall instead of Damian. At that point he basically gave the fight up to protect his son. Sure, Damian is the best overall Robin for his age, but it's evident that Batman was holding back, and that Bruce could have definitely beaten Robin if he really wanted to.
Batman could have KILLED this little brat easily. Pressure points. Batarang. I don't understand why Damian can punch a man over twice his size several times. I agree with everything you say dude but it's just so unrealistic. Even for animation.
Luis Alarcon Ramos I think they ARE seeing it more or less. However, I think it's a fairly common opinion that even holding back a great deal, Damian should still barely hold a snowball's chance in hell (if only due to his age, lack of real experience and still developing body). That being said, I agree with everything you said. :)
Luis Alarcon Ramos Yes but even holding back batman should be the clear winner. He has done better against bigger and better foes than damien. He beats the likes of bane, deathstroke and mr freeze but not a kid. He has beaten superman in certain stories! obviously these stories have superman holding back and batman having time to perpare some ultimate weapon or plan but even still batman holds ground with someone with god like power but he cant beat his son holding back! ridiculous.
+SonicSpeed10 or nerfed. Damian kicks too much ass in this movie. Unless Deathstroke and Nightwing were also holding back. Cause yea, Should have been a 10 second fight where batman just slaps the brat around
Hahahaha for every person in action cartoon actually. Traditionally unlike anime where the animation proceeds the voices, western cartoons do the recordings first and then do the final animations in which they might encorporate the expressions or movements of the voice actors. So imagine a bunch of people with mics going all ARGH! HA! UGH! moving like crazy and pretending they get hit! Hahahahha man sounds like both super hard and super fun business!
Yeah I wouldn’t expect anything less. He willing to give his life for joker or hush so I’m pretty sure he’d be more than willing to do the same for his son.
Bruce Wayne Keep in mind, Batman probably had to hold back against his son Damian. I think he is a fucking brat that doesn't deserve to live in the same house as his father, but deep down inside Batman does truly love his son.
Well he was trained by the league of assassins since birth. Plus take into account that Bruce was holding back. He probably let Damian hit him to let him vent his feelings.
thaiazn4lyfe That literally does not make sense. Scientifically, a 70lb piece of meat cannot push a 200lb piece of meat without a much higher velocity that would break the 70lb piece of meat because the bone and muscle density of the 200lb piece of meat would be higher. If they were literally made of equal substances, trained to the exact same degree of human physique, he still would need to hit with 3x the force of batman to just MOVE him, let alone move him 10 feet. but they're not. He's a child and his bones have not fully matured and hardened, his muscles are simply not the same density nor bulk of batman's, and his legs aren't even 70lbs, they're probably 20lbs each and would have to hit with TEN times the force because he's moving batman's entire body. not just his leg. This is oversimplified physics and biology, i know there's a lot more to it. but for sake of argument the gist of it should still follow the basic truth. tl;dr: It's a cartoon from a comic book about superheroes meant to get CHILDREN interested in it. so a CHILD is performing in a superior way. realistically this entire fight is bullshit.
Batman- Now lets go home. now that's some real shit right there lmao. Batman was just like "all he need is to get some stress off his shoulders I'll let him fight me"
@@Boiiiiiiiiiiiiii742 please watch the new JL movie. you see how badly and easily damian gets his ass kicked when batmans not holding back. damian in the new movie was a few years older too lol, while batman has been doing nothing but sitting in a nice chair for 2 years.
@DLS Claps it was darkseid fighting not Batman? Tf you on lol. Batman was mind controlled so he didn't hold back, he didn't gain any physical boost. Batman was fighting with a suit given by darkseid, yes.....but what does he do with the suit? All he is using is hand to hand combat he's not using and fancy gadgets. The only thing the suit did for him was give him electric punches, but do you really think he couldn't beat Damian without electricity in his punches? Also I'm pretty sure having metals hands doesn't compare to having a kryptonite sword. Damian's agility easily makes up for Batman being bigger. Stop making excuses for Damian and accept that he got his ass kicked
@@MIHIRSK-lm6qf why does it bother you so much that a year old comment literally just stated something that happened in something? Why so angry? Pathetic
***** And Batman wasn't punching and kicking (physical punishment ) on top a roof. Really Crimson? Thats so much smarter. ...do you even have kids? Spanking your kid inside your home is much safer for both. Plus, a good parent doesn't have to resort to always using physical punishment. So I agree with you to some extent. Your kids should get to a point that they know not to disrespect.
Yeah I have kids. So I know first hand , talking to a child after so long does not work. Sometimes spanking your child when they are caught doing something dangerous or just instilling respect is crucial. No one enjoys getting spanked, including myself. I was spanked as a kid. And your comment on "Who cares if they are disrespectful" Shows the lack of understanding that most of the problems of this world are because children are brought up with that mentality. Respecting ones parents is one of the first lessons learned to being a good person. True, some people don't need to be taught this.
How old are you bro? I'm going to guess you are still in school. So in school, we see for the most part, kids being respectful towards one another and to the adults. There's a percentage of those kids that may not have needed a spanking to instill the behavior of respecting others. There is a percentage of kids that needed that spanking to instill that behavior. Not all parents utilize the tool of spanking correctly. But when used right, kids that are caught bullying or disrespecting their teaching , won't do it again. I do understand that some bad behavior can be from a mental illness. And when a child hits or verbally disrespect their parent. And that child that doesn't get spanked, most likely will carry out the same treatment towards others. I usually first give my kids one to two verbal warnings and after that spank them.
+Crimson Ennui Adults that think they are a superior lifeform are jerks and idiots. Though in our society, adults are of authority and they brought you into this world, you must respect them, especially parents. Though some adults are jerks, I'd never respect the rude and disrespectul adults, but always respect the wise ones and the ones who care for you. Also spanking is like... let's say getting a needle. You don't want a needle right? So try your best to not get sick and you won't pay the cost. Same with spanking. Spanking is also a form of discipline, it can warn them that wrong things will hurt them in the end.
So Batman's spine can take a 10+ story drop onto a tree branch and then break a fucking stone statue and be completely fine, hm, I guess he put some extra padding in that region after having it broken by Bane?
I like the way they did this relationship. Damian is way beyond his years in his physical abilities, very likely more so than any boy his age in history. So even though he's way beyond where Bruce was at the same age, Bruce still has decades of experience on him plus he's had other teachers besides the master martial artists and he's trained in other things like forensics and lateral thinking skills that I don't think Damian has much of. So I kinda like the occasional scene where Damian realizes he has to defer to Batman's experiences in some outings. Very well done. If it wasn't the fact that Batman was (I think) going easy on him, I would've loved to have seen them initially fight together against others with seemingly similar abilities but when Damian takes Batman on you see Batman take it to another level and totally out fight Damian. I would've loved to have heard Batman say to Damian, "Don't test me boy."
SMP2390 Oh no, not his literal son, I meant more in terms of the ideology and Batman's whol heroic code. Of course, being raised away from his father by the anarchic League of Assassins, one cannot expect Damian to share his father's ideals. He may be Bruce's son, but Grayson is more of an heir to the dark knight then Damian will ever be, unless he grows up and learns who he is rather than continue as a mad zealot.
Yeah but in the comics he gotten better and in the Batman and Robin comics he learned how to be a real hero in my opinion movie wise I wouldn't have have him patrol with me so soon since he got that killer instinct.
I’m absolutely dying at the fact that Bruce and Damian fighting is like the closest to a father and son bonding they’ll ever have since Bruce was going easy on him😭😭
People do realize that Batman was holding back to some extent, if you notice the beginning of the fight he was simply blocking his attacks until the smoke pellet, and when they were falling he switched positions to where he would break Damian's fall.
biensalsa while him dodging omega beams in the animated series isn't cannon, i think there was specifically comic cannon where he was hit by omega beams
Love how he said “ now let’s go home” knowing my parents I would’ve been dead or in the streets there ain’t no “ now let’s go home” after a street fight
+kaka cech batman wasn't going all out to start and evaluated robin at first, then beat his shit in until robin stepped it up and surprised batman but you could see batman had the upper hand. Until batman decided to restrain him instead of KOing him
This was so fucking eye-cringing. Everyone knew, watching this fight, Batman was holding back 100%. There was no way he should have lost that. Bruce is a 30 year old man with years of physical training with a background in martial arts. Plus, Bruce is taller than him.
plus, a punch of kid who perhaps is heavier and stronger than majority of kids of his age is still not strong enough of a punch of a full grown up adult like bruce.
nobody talks about the symbolism that is used in that last scene where batman watches robin run off and there's a statue behind him showing a family but the father's head is destroyed. its symbolism that shows that he's not like Talia or Damian
I actually really liked this movie (a LOT more than Son of Batman), however, they made Damian WAAAAAAY too overpowered. He defeats not only Nightwing (who's a better fighter) with relative ease, he fucking pisses on Batman (while Batman could take him out EASILY with a single punch) and at the end, he beats Talon when Batman is not able to. It's total bullshit. I get that out of the 4 Robins, Damian has the most talent, yet he's still a boy here, and he should pale in comparison to Batman and even Dick Grayson (Nightwing). They did the same with Son of Batman, where he obliterates Deathstroke ! I mean, even Batman literally can't defeat Deathstroke on his own. The writers seriously need to decrease Damian's skills and strength.
Yep. Luckily, after the travesty that was his defeating Deathstroke, I went into this movie prepared. I was expecting him to kick superman's ass next or something. It especially sucks because in the comic when he and Nightwing sparred, Nightwing toyed with Damian. Not to mention a gravely injured Batman was still able to defeat Talon, whereas here he needed saving.
MoviezGames Yeah I read the comics too and I was half expecting them to follow the storyline where Batman fights Lincoln March in the orphanage and he believes he's Bruce's brother. But Damian was way OP in this. And this fight looks as if Bruce is holding back. I mean it is his son after all
Aqib213 I know it looks like he's holding back, but it shouldn't matter. Batman would win for sure, whether it be in a defensive state, or a offensive mindset. It wouldn't matter. Batman is superior in every way (mainly, because Damian is a child).
Everyone's talking about Bruce holding back nobody's mentioning how clever it is that in that statue depicting a family, the one Batman falls on, the fall broke the father, leaving only mother and son, talia and damien. only a partial relationship ( represented by broken partial statue)until damien accepts bruce.
Uto Resa 519 I called him useless because he is stubborn. Not because he couldn't get Batman to go beast mode. Wish he did though, brat needs a lesson on thinking before he acts. That's why he will never be as good as the Batman or Nightwing.
love the ending where Batman is in front of a statue of a family and the father one is destroyed by Batman symbolizing that Damian is becoming more like his mother because of the damage Batman is doing with their relationship
2:11 No body gonna talk about batman saving Damian? Batman is such a great father! grabbed Damian so he won't get hurt or killed! Shows how much he loves his son even tho he doesn't love him back but he does love him!
I love how for the whole first part of the fight Batman is only blocking and dodging. Batman doesn’t even throw a punch until Damian gets a decent blow and Bruce knows that he has to fight back.
This fight is on par with Damian's fight with Deathstroke for how stupid it was. Aside from it looking absolutely ridiculous ( a ten year old boy, fighting a full grown man ) the fact he somehow comes out on top is utter bull. Granted the Deathstroke one was worse now that I think about it, this fight is still pretty stupid as well. Pity, as the fight earlier of Batman vs the 3 talons in the museum was an amazing fight.
Damn.. THey really made Robin far too powerful in this movie.. Whats next 52 Robin vs Flash? Wonderwoman? Greenlantern? Cyborge? Superman? the entire Justice Leauge? All of DC? Robin vs God?
Deep Inside , Batman Enjoys killing, that's not what you hear everyday but it's true, of all the Justice League members , Batman is a real psychopath. He believes that if he kills the Joker , he'll start killing everyone it's just like you say : ah fuck it , one video won't do any harm, and you keep on going until you've realised how much time you've wasted. Same here for Batman. He doesn't beat the shit out of damian ,m he was merely neutralizing him, and was holding back ,because he is his son.
@@DSECYashasVasudev What are you commenting about? No, he doesn't. He literally says in one of the animated movies, "I won't cross that line because it will make me no different than them."
***** Nightwing? Arrogant? I'm sorry man but no matter what... The closest thing to Batman is Batwoman and then Nightwing... Yeah.. Nightwing.. And he should be able to whack Damian... and actually they shouldn't even fight.. They're like bros
Usman Khan Due to Nightwing's training from a younger age than Bruce's, Nightwing being younger than Batman, and Nightwing's natural ability, he's plausibly better than Batman.
I call absolute fucking bullshit on this fight, and his fight with Dick. I don't care if he was a goddamn mutant baby, Damien does not have the ability to hold his own for long periods of time or win against opponents with vastly better physical stats, at least relatively equal to better training, and most importantly, experience. It's straight up bullshit, and all of you people justifying it by saying batman was holding back and nightwing wasn't a clear cut win know it is, but I guess you enjoy seeing Damien do things that ate way outside of his wheelhouse.
When people say batman was holding back that means batman could've easily won seeing that he didn't really lose until the fall and dick got caught off guard your logic was flawed . But I'll give an a for effort
carzell wells no flawed logic. Batman would never waste that much time with an inferior opponent. Son or not. He would've put him to sleep and taken him home or ask Dick to pick him up off that roof. This is all an attempt to make Damian look bad a$$. Batman was getting lumped up and stabbed throughout the movie.
carzell wells Yeah, but that still isn't a good reason for an absolutely ridiculous power boost. Also, in the comics, Damien seemed to like Dick more than his own dad, yet here, just the sight of one another makes them want to kill each other. The other thing that makes it incredibly unrealistic is that Damien is like 10-12 years old in these movies, meaning that he should not have the requisite strength or agility to honestly contend with adults who are essentially as close to being superhuman as you can be without actually possessing superhuman abilities.
Did you forget this is fiction batman and night wing should've died twice in this movie alone and with genetic modifications he should be the way he is in this movie he's basically a child captain America imo
Hello Child Protective Service I would like to call about Batman kicking his sons but. ohhh wait his son is kicking his. Nevermind batman just kicked him, nevermind his son is laying his a$$ out. nevermind batman is, wait their falling off a building.
+essie johnson you do realize batman wasnt really trying to hurt him. He used his own back to protect robin from that fall and what does robin do to thank him. he beats him whiles he down.
Jalen Young Batman didn’t even try in this fight 😂😂💀💀 that nigga could’ve easily got up and reverse his ass he’s strong enough to push a train (barley tho)
+nijohn12 Could batman have slapped him though? I agree Batman could have won if he wanted to, but slapping Damian is harder than you'd think. He's batman, not the flash.
I love the statue at the back, the broken head of the father. It resembles that Robin literally doesn't want his father. He wants to stay with his mother. Love the symbols shown in this movie,
For ya’ll who don’t think Batman was holding back, at 2:13 , instead of allowing Robin to free fall and get incredibly hurt, Bruce reached around and pulled Damian close to him and protected him from the fall. Batman has been through so shit and Damian probably hasn’t, Bruce knows he can take it. He obviously wasn’t trying to critically hurt his own son but enough to stop him/knock him out.
i like how you can tell batman's not even bothering with an actual fight. damian had countless massive openings that batman didn't follow up on because he didn't actually want to hurt him
Daniel The Great One Great, now you have issues with prehistoric humans? Dude...you need to get off of the internet because you seriously can't handle it right now.
To all of you who have ever played injustice "You stopped being my son after you killed dick Grayson. He was my real son" batman then proceeds to slaughter Damian's assholee
I love that part when they both fall through the roof and Batman grabs Damian into a protective hold. I'm glad they put that in, because it shows that Batman (While not being a great father) loves his kid.
Ok 1. I didn't meant that over the tops, but if Nightwing can tie up the brat from a building, Batman would be able to at least get him trapped and escort him back to Wayne Manor. 2. Damien is helping a murderer enroll him a cult of tyrants who want to commit genocide on anyone who's done something illegal. I'm pretty sure the brat needs to be taught a lesson.
Well yeah but you have to remember, he is still a child and it seems that the father and the son were having difficulties so the son felt a little more special with the murderer.
***** His grnadfather was the most deadly assassin and martial fighter of the world of the last 400 years, Ra's Al Ghul, and Ra's teached damian all those martial arts when damian was on diapers
You can tell he's taking it easy on him, because even when like, they crash through the windows and stuff Batman makes sure Damian doesn't take the heat. Even throughout the entire fight, he's still protecting his son.
Rich P Yeah. Idk I am a bit offended that it was made to look like Batman was about to lose, but at the same time, at the end of the fight Batman still asked him to come home, even though Damian was basically a traitor. Like, that's cool to me lol
