What I admire is that Bilal was so polite and well mannered to Kid’s dad, the way he says “No I haven’t seen him sir.” I’m 37 and kids these days don’t have that.
Saw House Party opening weekend. I will NEVER forget the crowd reaction when he turns and spots Anthony Johnson. Just the way he says "Awww, how you doin?" and dude standing there with the curl. Everybody knew he was about to get lit up. 😂😂

The slow background music and the few people whispering “ooooh” while Robin is flaming the house make this a legendary scene, as well the end credits when he’s giving Kid the belt... Bernie had a similar style; they’re both from Chicago..RIP
We were robbed of a House Party movie with Robin Harris and Bernie as brothers. 😥 To know that’s he was kids dad and Pops brother oh man that second movie with them both would’ve been a guaranteed classic.

I just loved Robin Harris in House Party and Bebes Kids. The tribute in HO3 with Boyz II Men song, "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" was a really fine tribute to him.
