...NOW THAT""S THE ROBIN-HARRIS'''..i was TALKING...about...Got a Neighbor..just Like Him...8...snott-nose...chillin''s WE CALL ...CHILLINS when you raised in the south...White -FOLKS-call...''em...Kids'''
FUN FACT: Vanessa Bell Calloway was chosen to play his girlfriend Jameka in the live action version of Bebe's Kids before Faizon Love voiced him in the cartoon version after his untimely death.
That video of him dissing Compton you could tell he really had legit heat from certified dudes. You could feel the crowd was uneasy when they heckled but he doubled down and went so far in and was so funny he literally neutralized potential violence That's Jean Grey level influence
Robin Harris was great! Wish he was around to enjoy his success and influence. Great quote, "I wear my wedding ring on the wrong finger because I married the wrong goddamn woman!"
This man is one of the greats... Ask Eddie Griffin, Martin Lawrence, Katt Williams, Arnes J, Bruce Bruce, Lavel Crawford, Monique, Bearnie Mac rip, Ask these people if Robin Harris is a great or not...
this was the golden age of stand up. when comedians still had the balls to insult people. you have no idea how powerful you have to be in order to insult the people who came to see you and STILL have them dying of laughter. this use to be a fucking art form.
Robin was an amazing talent. Besides his stand up routine you know he would have been huge in movies. I love any and all stuff people post about him. He was above all an original...............
Robin was the only comic at this time to start his act by ripping on people in the audience, he was a comical genius! He was the funniest black comic too
Sad how he passed just after tearing the house from his last concert. Every great performer/artist has one good act to show to the world before he goes. RIP
I remember this vividly of Robin Harris one of the greatest comedian's ever lived. Exemplary. The undisputed truth of comedy. God bless his soul rest in peace big man
@@Red-Rambo I never understood that one. Other than the two coming out of Chicago, I never saw a resemblance in their stand up. Robin was Robin, Bernie was Bernie.
Everybody couldn't have a big role. The movie was more of an homage to Redd Foxx and Pryor. And at the same time Robin hadn't blown up yet. I don't think Eddie's ego was a problem. Look at how many comedians he had in it. Plus all the ppl he brought along in movies Coming to America and Boomerang
Who are the WEIRDOS that thumbed down this LEGEND....thats just pure hating!!.this man wouldve been at the top in Comic world in 2019..THAT'S REAL..watts life...Major!
He called Robert Townsend "A Test Tube Baby." HILARIOUS!!!! I need to watch this for a good laugh after some stressful ISH goes down. I'm telling you good comedians bring so much joy & laughter to the world. RIP Robin Harris. Funniest quote, I probably ever heard came from Robin Harris in Mo Better Blues, "I know you ain't talking, head look like a question mark." I missed the next 20 minutes of that movie still recovering from that quote.
bmoreyella Well, my favorite Comedian of all time! He was about to do bigger things, before he died, where he would've been one of the greats! Don't never try to steal his shine; he deserves his respect!
Happy as a runaway slave! I loved this guy's comedy. May he rest in peace. The youngsters out here can't miss what they never had! Thank God for age and memories!

Gone way to soon, what little time we had with him I consider him one of the greats! Hope you and Pryor are sharing stories
GOAT They literally made a hit movie off a one minute joke this man did. Scene stealer in every movie he cameoed "Where am I from? Where are you from!? I'm from a small town called Cuttacopheadoff and you making me homesick"
Robin was one of the best! Harris & Pryor was the most quick-witted...I remember watching Mo'Better Blues when he said (ad-libbed) that Denzel's head looked like a question mark...I fell out laughing...
He was classic in "House Party" he made comedy in L.A. Robert Townsend/Keenan Wayans open the door for all the comics of the late 80's early 90s "The Comedy act" in L.A. Leimert Park they need to show those shows!
In high school, a friend of mine introduced to Robin with the “BeBe’s kid” cassette. I fell in love with his comedy immediately! Had Robin been the host of Def Comedy Jam, i think Martin Lawrence’s career would’ve been a lot different.
@mitchetoln ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! THANK YOU! That was buggin the heck outta me. I would not expect to see Debbie Thomas, a champion figure skater, at Robin Harris show. WOW. I wonder if she knows shes here. Man, I was all over the place...Kim Coles, Vanessa Del Rio,.....Debbie Thomas?!?!? DAYUUM!
