They could’ve chosen to keep the bloxys instead of the “innovation” awards. That way people wouldn’t have been underwhelmed by the word “innovation” in the name when the games aren’t that innovative.
I was part of the G&B community, the moment we saw we were all up against Arsenal,Gunfight Arena and The Strongest Ballsgrounds We all knew it was a losing battle the moment we just saw TSB on the choices Edit: Lost more hope when i saw the chat in innovations literally just going "Aight, call your friends to vote TSB" "Get everyone here to pick TSB" Now im not hating on TSB but im just more into PVE, not PVP.

Im part of the g&b community and in the moment i saw Arsenal with more than 40,000 votes (when it started) i realised we we'rent going to win this one.
all the games that got done dirty in RIA list: Flood escape 2(best obby) HELLMET(best shooter) Guts & blackpowder (best shooter) The mimic(best horror) dress to impress(best fashion) deepwoken(best action/RPG) Tower defence simulator(best strategy)
They keep forgetting, no one is going to pick a game based off the actual category, it’s always going to be off popularity. I bet you half of these games were only winning due to popularity.
The fact that its voting based really sucks, they should have had the playerbase nominate the games, then Roblox try the game out for that day and decide later, this would make it so quality games could actually win instead of just the popular ones
we don't know 100% and personally i don't buy it, but on the MGC (HELLMET) discord server there was a screenshot of i suppose a roblox admin that said something along the lines of, the voting is actually a prediction and it doesn't actually factor into which game would win. Still don't believe it but there's that.
@the.real.pizzaman I think they meant that there’s a vote to predict who will win and another one to actually vote, the fact toh won over flood escape 2 is proof enough that it’s 100% rigged by popularity
Who thought it was a good idea to put dusty trip and tsb in best strategy in which mostly TD games would be in There's driving a car in random terrain and fighting ppl Doesn't sound very strategic to me
Not just so, but also popular games that no one really plays like The Mimic. The Mimic should have won instead of Doors. I don't even think Doors is a horror, it calms af.
The moment I see Arsenal, I knew GnB wasn’t gonna stand a chance. Arsenal’s cool and all, but I still don’t understand why is it in the innovative category

I really think that this is really stupid. Also there is a lot of people fighting in the hub and doing things like: “vote for my favorite game, I’ll get an skin that is just for the people that play my game” Idk why is it.
This is why Minitoon is one of my favorite developers. While he did promise the community something if he won, it seems like he’ll still go through with what he promised despite losing.
I hate how tower of hell which is just simple plastic obbies got voted more then flood escape 2 which looks nicer and is more fun compared to toh (yes im coping)

For me maybe altorioude (whatever is written) should have won, i mean i think it was one of the first 2 player obby (also teamwork puzzles should have been there)
Most of the roblox community didn't even choose there favourite games experienced on there own categories, they most likely voted the one that is popular. Some games are underrated like G&B, Hellmet and interminality (dunno if i spell that right) aren't voted cause they hardly have seen any gameplay footage of that game itself, they shouldve kept the bloxy's instead of innovation rewards it just feels unnecessary, roblox also added a ugc for it making ppl only wanted points rather than voting there favourite experiences.
idk why anyone’s talking about the “horror section” they put all the kiddie games in there💀 just a extra comment I think g&b should fit in horror… also I guess it is a fighting game since you come with murderous intention in the game like for example using your handle of you axe to stop a incoming attack of a zapper lunging at you with its own axe. Not to mention the officer class has a charge ability which makes everyone go faster puts certain weapons into charges like heavy sabre, musket, or pike. Just my opinion.
A category I have an issue with is strateagy: my issue is that TSB is in it despite barley qualifying and ofc its gonna win, its TSB it feels like roblox WANTS certain games to win over others.
Maybe put something like the popular category and up and coming category for the same thing. that way popular games can still get awards, but smaller games still have a chance
It's always known that popular games will wins this kind of competition even if they are not new just because of kids that like the game or in-game promises of offering a reguard if they win

i have no issues with the hub expect 1.how the hell is tsbg and dusty trip consider strategy game?i get it these 2 game does make you think about what to do and what to keep but these 2 are literally call fighting game it really show how greedy and desperate these game is,literally squeeze themselves into a category that doesnt even about them if tsbg win then im expecting another tds raid but this time they actually have a good reason to do that unlike last year
They could have added rise of nations for best strategy game. I mean the goal of the game is to literally strategize on how you want to conquer the world

one thing that sucked a lot was the fact that tsb was RIGGED to win all it's nominations, the developers made PROMISES to the community if they won, so even thought the game could be considered the best fighting, its definitely NOT best strategy by a mile, tds takes 100x more brainpower than that game does and should've won
Can’t forget why the ONLY strategy game (TDS) got obliterated by TSB because they promised a free admin character and didn’t even give it 🫠 Combos are NOT strategy, most come down to memory and execution.
Also, the Blox Fruits votes are entirely rigged as one, popularity, and two, bots. The second they opened the votes for best RPG, BF got 40k right off the bat.
Again, it wasn't Roblox who chose these. The people (Audience) wanted these games to be nominated. Then Roblox pick these games that are voted the most. There was a website fully dedicated to this. The people are very blinded by popularity. Powering Imagination? Yeah well maybe stop choosing the same games for each genre.
1 thing I want to say. Really one cares if the game that wons is better or not that loses?, the only thing that you need to care is having fun, have a great life :)💙💙💙
I thought the prediction thing would be cool. Then it had to to tell uou who had mote votes. On top of that I was thinking some of the votes wouod be close like Doors vs Piggy they werent. And finally if I already know who won why would I watch the innovation awards like they should have waited to tell the answers
I 100% agree with you, The prediction stuff was good on paper but the execution wasn't all so great, and the event itself is pretty underwhelming considering the fact that ROBLOX had 2 opportunities to redeem themself off of failed events. I much much prefer the Bloxy Awards over this, ten fold. Really hoping roblox takes all of the feedback and grows from it.
After seeing the best creator videos that were voted rainbow friends brainrot (except the first one he shown but that vid isn't better either) I have lost faith in humanity💀
Bro exactly! I’m sorry you can’t put a small growing game with a niche audience like G&B against a massive game like Arsenal with a bunch of random goons with no taste and call it “balanced” that’s just not how that works.
the strongest battlegrounds bribing their community to win best strategy is a huge middle finger to tower defense simulator.. literally why did Roblox allow bribery in the "Innovation" Awards in the first place 💀
They never should add the same game to many genere.This really make other less community base game lose their"deserved" award. Like why is strongest battle is on both fighting and stratagry
Popularity is the sole driving factor in what games are won. Again, with the shooter, HELLMET or G&B (my favorite!) should have won, however, the reason arsenal and gunfight arena won was due to their status in the ROBLOX community. Arsenal has been around for a long time and has stayed on top of the shooter genre just as long, while gunfight arena was used in two events in a row, despite its lacking quality. And the AUDACITY to use gunfight arena over something like Deadline or Phantom Forces (PF) is just astonishing. Roblox doesn't care about quality, only how much money is made from the players, which is why less monetized games like G&B and HELLMET, or even PF (many good weapons are unlocked early) lost or weren't included, while more monetizable games, like Gunfight Arena, were on there.
I absolutely dont mind the long rant, (i read every comment) but I 100% agree with your statement, roblox current events feel really soulless so far and never sparked the passion of creators like other instances like the bloxys, and its really sad to see that everything roblox has done this year could be described as nothing better as sub-par.
Knowing that majority of Roblox is under 13, Innovation awards (bloxys) Should not be voting based. Some selected people should try out the games. Because the community is not mature and never will be mature enough to act like people that have brains and will actually TRY OUT the games. Then they will vote.
The innovation awards are okay, it introduces a new event for Roblox. But what makes this event so bad are these reasons: 1. Bribing. This is probably the biggest problem with the innovation awards. As of now, I know three games have bribed players for them to win: TSB, Sol's RNG and Type Soul. What's bad about bribing is that it gives them more votes for them to win. Personally, in the strategy voting, I voted Tower Defense Simulator. The game has plenty of strategy and it all rotates depending on which towers are in your loadout. But now that TSB has bribed their players for KJ and more work on Boros if they win, it's basically rigged because of the amount of people who want to use a very work in progress admin character for a short amount of time. Besides strategy, TSB is obviously going to win best fighting and people's choice (in my opinion). If they ever do another innovation awards, I hope the games who do bribe get disqualified. 2. Popularity. When I saw the "Best New Experience" I noticed Sol's RNG had appeared, the moment it did, I knew this event was going to be lame. Roblox ripped games that had a good average of players and through it into the voting. Which is plain evidence that Roblox doesn't think twice about putting moderators into the games the players need to vote on. Sol's RNG has one of the worst Roblox experiences to offer, stacked with its bribing. In short words, if TSB wins strategy or Sol's RNG wins best new experience; it's rigged.
