A hearty HUZZAH for this video and the test therein! Thank yooooUUUUUUU! Anyhoo, I'm a little taken aback at the poor performance of the 240 in this test. With the vibrating head, I thought it'd do MUCH butter-- I MEAN BETTER! The M6 is just a beast! It looks sleek, modern and performs just as great as it looks. With multiple sweeps/cycles, I think the M6 can mop up anything!

Thank You, I was shocked too, thought since the 240 had a vibrating head, same spot clean pattern, you would think it would perform equal or better. I think the 240 got last, iLife w400 2nd and m6 WON 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣

One of them washes, others only mop. I've been using the washer ilife for a month and couldnt be happier. Hands down the only and best robot floor WASHER.

I almost bought a friggen M6, and I'm so relieved I checked out your other video w/ the iLife w400. I'm in love. I'm also really allergic to scented products, and it never said on Amazon or other reviews that it used scented pads. You may miss it, but it would have have a huge letdown if I'd bought it.

Finally the test i was wating for..lol.. , but thats the main reason i returned the w400, its good but i feel the roller its too soft and it doesnt really removes stain,. After having the w400 for a month and now i have the m6 .i can tell the m6 its well worth the extran money😁😁😁😁

For my money I would go to the 240, most people don’t understand the concept of the 240, it’s meant to get your floors wet and then air dry, most people think it sprays too much. No ones supposed to be in the room when they run. Thanks!!

Yeah so so true, my thinking is as long as it cleans well and can get the job done, I don't care how long it takes and how it does it. I know the Roomba are not the most elegant or efficient cleaners but they are not race cars so being 20% slower than a Roborock probably won't matter to most people 😁

Robot Masters I been using this m6 for a month now and it’s been a real investment. I hope they start offering parts soon like batteries and wheels. But it’s been reliable and I want to last me at least 3 years.

Hi, Other than iRobot's specific detergent, can we use a non-foaming one? Such as cleaning vinegar? This is because, I have been reading the specifications of m6 and says that you should only use the detergent iRobot, but it is very expensive. The old Scooba and Braava, according to iRobot, we could use cleaning vinegar in the water, and that's what I've been doing with my Jet 240. Does it also work with m6?

Yes you can, don't use a harsh chemical or it will eat up the hoses and ruin the mopping robot.

The iRobot scooba far outperforms the braava, because the braava is just a pad, where the scooba sprayed, scrubbed, and sucked it up

No the Braava m6 mops the best for tough stains. The iLife w400 has a separate clean and dirty water tank for wet mopping jobs. The 240 similar to the m6 designed for small bathroom and powder rooms. The hybrid mopping system vacuuming and mopping designed for light mopping duties.

Would you recommend the baby iRobot mop for a large area that has tile it is not that large but it has space and would it do good by having hair on the floor two

The smaller robot is designed for small areas but you could try a large area. The robot will just push the hair around, but a single hair should be okay. Might try vacuuming first to pick up the hair than mop

That the one with the Navigation Cube 🤔. My favorite is the Braava Jet 240, due to its small size it can get behind the toilet and smaller areas that it’s bigger Brother m6 can’t get at

Yeah and it takes 10 to 12 hours to charge 😥 but i got it for $129 several years ago and still going strong so can't complain 👍. The jet wasn't released for 2 months.

The 240 was actually labeled 245 at Walmart which means it came with two rechargeable batteries. I find the battery life to be enough 🤣

Hardly something for ANY mop robot. You want clean grout lines, get a steamer or conventional mop and do it yourself. A robot is good technology but won't do miracles.

Hello, I would go with the Braava Jet m6, can handle multiple rooms and also auto recharging. The Braava Jet 240 designed for a single room aka very small area like a small powder room or kitchen area.

Well it depends on what features you are looking for. If you are planning on doing mopping only and already have a robotic vacuum cleaner than the m6 is a good choice. The Roidmi Eve can do both so it a better hybrid robot.

ROBOT MASTER I HAVE A PROBLEM/QUESTION!!!! Ok so I have a house with a lot of doors and most of them are closed all the time like my bathroom So when I get my roomba i7 I plan on using it in the bathroom just not every time it runs So I don’t wanna go though a whole list of rooms only to leave out 2 out of 8 rooms so can I just say clean all and the roomba will clean everything it can or when it can’t get to a room will it stop every thing and tell me there’s a error?

Nope, once you create the map with all the rooms, aka doors open and you tell the I7 to clean all rooms, and there some doors shut it will attempt to clean the rooms with the doors close, but if it can’t get to those rooms it should move on and clean the rooms it can get to. You can use the light house too or manually select the rooms through the app too. Hope this helps 😄 PS the robot will not error out, only if it gets stuck or some how can’t find a path back to its charging station. The I7 a very persistence cleaner and will try really hard to clean everything

My Braava 320 was a rebranded Mint and still does amazing job. On big change from my braava it takes 12 hours to charge will other after it were 2 hours. The jet came with pre treated pads and squirting water with scrubbing action. Now M6 with mapping and working along with roomba. Since m6 doesn't use stand alone cube how does it keep its postion? How dependent is it on map guides

I thought you weren't supposed to use cleaners in the w400 tank? I think I'm going to anyway. They came out w/ a w400s, and the specs are identicle, but for an extra $60 or more, they claim that model can handle cleaning solution and the w400 can't.

The fact that the M6 has even a slight amount of butter left is disappointing, although it’s the best outa the 3.. after spending so much and having the top brand, you’d expect it to be as clean as if you was to do a normal mop yourself.. (spotless) what would happen in a house hold that uses a lot of oil etc and they have oil drops on the floor, it would also leave streaks then I’m guessing.. I would of hoped it would of made it spotless

Any other types of cleaning solution have not been approved and can damage the robot mop if used. By A manufacturer Manufacturer on June 5, 2019" This shows that Irobot has become BS artists, my braava their web site said they recommend Bona as approved cleaning solution but not swifter wet pads but the box said use reusable microfiber pads or swifter wet pads. How they try to lock up their products is to void avoid warranty if not using their products 1😠👊

Yes the can handle un even ground, but may miss some of the dirt if the robot get lifted up too much. Take a look at the Roborock S4 which seemed to do better with uneven ground.

Did you know the 240 has optical sensors at the front and rear? Watch it operate using a IR camera.

I think it has a few IR sensors on the bottom to detect stairs, the front just has the physical bump sensor. There no sensors in the rear.

I bought the Braava m6... and it's a TOTAL FAIL. I had to return it. It leaves tire marks all over my dark brown finish wood floor. It makes the flloor look ugly. I tried it my the mixed solution, water only and with BONA. Nothing works. The wheels should be in front and the pad in the back. Maybe this would solve this problem.

Sorry to hear about the m6, yes the m6 has been known to leave tire marks, some users use Distilled water to minimize the tire streaking. But I agree having the wheels upfront and the pad in the back is the ideal solution. Maybe look at the Roborock s5 Max has both vacuuming and mopping capabilities.

You just convicted me that none of these robots made for me. The IRobots both are extremely sloooowwwww so that’s a no no for me. The w400 meh too high... I’m glad I did not bought the M6.

Yeah all 3 mopping robots have there pros and cons, I agree the m6 a little pricey, I like the w400 but struggled on this test. Waiting for the Narwhal Robotics see how that does
