Thanks, Wickedy. I followed the armor map and slogged through scores of server hops (took about three weeks) to get the robot legs at the display case in Harper's Ferry. I discovered the arms and legs robot parts earlier at Treetops and The General's Steakhouse. Getting them was not as tedious but still a task worthy of a Possum Scout. Your videos are enjoyable and very helpful.
The best tutorials for FO76. Very enjoyable. You put so much character into your vids. I keep trying to add you since the day we met in game. Was curious about your opinion on the display cases!
When you search all 16 places and find only one robot plan, a marine plan, and a couple of modifications I’ll never use. Big sad. The worse part was I suspect they may have fell into their objects because a few of the plans I did find were just barely surfaced from their hollow prisons.
I woke up, and was honestly so glad to see this video in my feed. The only two badges I need to finish is this one, and needing that plan for the plasma grenade. These darn robot armour plans have eluded me, and I'm so glad that you choose to do a video on it! Your tutorials are so clean cut and understandable. Hope to get my badges soon, and with your tutorials, I'll definitely get them done faster than I would have without them! Thank you for the helpful content :D
Bravo, WickedyChickady. Thanks for all the work which went into making this accurate and concise, video and for including the quick-links index for later reference. You are an excellent organizer and editor!
I just wanted to say that I really love your videos. Entertaining and informative. I also find myself coming back to videos like this to remind myself of some of the armor locations.
Thx for the vid. BTW, with Back on the Beat - any flame weapon ( or flame damage) with a friendly fire perk is a big help because you can heal the ally (here Steel Heart).
Thanks for showing the tour of robco research centre, that was the only thing I had left for my challenge. I server jumped quite a few times but the markers weren't showing up for me.
Things must be a bit different, low these many years later. Did this round the bend, and swapped servers several times. I still need the arms, light and heavy. Uhg. Time to ADD something else before my head explodes. LOL. It was still fun, and your "tour" got me both chests and both legs, that is, light and heavy. Thank you so much, belatedly. If your discord server for FO76 is still active and you see this, let me know. Edit: OMG, I am level 214 and only have one makeshift warrior card. Guess I have buy or hunt down a blade.
I think there is also a spawn location at Becwith farm in a tractor shed. I didnt find the robot plan there but after spending several hundreds of hours in game, i found a plan that i had not learnt there.
Dam your badass take on 30 assultron, me ive to many nightmares of that cyclops eye beam cannon ruining my day specially when running away from assultron and getting shot in the back, or my personal favourite your about loot a legendary monster body only be shot buy assultron beam cannon.
Question about spawns and server hopping: if I loot one of these plans, does that spawn point become inactive no matter what server I'm on? Is there a cooldown on spawn points?
I agree with one of the older posts. Extremely hard to find some of those areas. Especially train yard. But, This has helped me find spawn locations. Sadly, still no robot legs. I have reloaded new worlds three times now. Most are empty. It’s 4 years later so it’s not people getting them. Think it’s Bethesda. For the record I’m playing on ps4. Lag slow crash trash. Could have something to do with it…
I don't know if you're still trying to get this done - but there is a bit of erroneous information in the video. The plans should spawn uniquely for each player, to dissuade conflict between players. Plan spawns *may be* tied to your 250 - 255 item loot list. You need to loot 250 - 255 items to reset this list, and the plans *should* respawn in their normal areas. If you don't want that particular plan that spawns *do not* loot it. Server hop until the desired plan is in its spot. Once you've cleared all of the plans spots in this video, try to reset your item loot list by looting the "Professor's" house in Sommersville (this may also require a few server hops, as this house is extremely popular for resetting the item loot list). This house should be the VERY first house you can enter upon fast travelling to Sommersville. Edited for less definite language. I'm not 100% sure if this actually works or not, but I intentionally reset my loot list, and then plans and mods started spawning again. Food for thought, and worth at least an attempt.
@@7KYEARSthank you for this. Yes I am still trying for these damn robot legs. Keep hitting up spots by my camp on cranberry bog and no dice. But I will get on later tonight and do this loot raid and then start visiting some more spots
@@govenatorsclone758 I kept at it after posting this comment and found all of the robot armor plans in like 40-ish minutes. Focus on checking the Pleasant Valley Cabins, as I had the most consistency there. If you didn't loot the plan, but it wasn't there on a server hop, just keep changing servers. It'll respawn.
Word of advice, slow down, and show how to get to each plan at the location. I personally found it very hard to locate some where you just cut to the location.
Thank you! Finding those plans and crafting the armor is the last thing I need to do for that badge. I have a question for the Miner badge, is there a workshop with Titanium? I would rather not move my camp. Thanks again!
I know the spawn rates for magazines are at a 20% chance they'll be there, and I imagine plans are the same or similar. I'd have to check through some files to find out. Spawn rates are no different on a private server vs a public one, though on public there is a chance of someone else grabbed it. I haven't done this run in a while but I know I've seen plans at a few of these places recently as I was passing by, so I don't believe wastelanders update changed plan spawn rates. It is sounding like you've had a bad bout of unfortunate RNG. Either way, it usually takes a few servers to find the plans you want anyways, and there were times I myself would find nothing. I'll also do the run a few times today to see if there have been any changes.
Ok I have a question I play on a private world mostly and like 60% of the spawns are just not there can u please help lol I literally need just the arms and I'm done
Mrs WickedtChickady i love your videos and i know you may not see this but by chance do you know how to find a Heavy Robot Torso Plan? I have been looking for months, and i havent found one i was wondering if you know of a spot that it may spawn or possibly you have a spare you are willing to sell? I have all but that one plan to have all 3 sets of robot sets and i have followed this farming guide to find everything but the one plan i would like so if you either know of a spot or possibly have a spare please let me know im willing to pay 1500 caps for it
@@johnandries9628 imgur.com/0PSFie7 is the link to the map I made. Also you can check out this other link which will direct you to all armor plan locations from Map76's site here: bit.ly/3jsfdaA hope that helps, good luck!
