I love how thought-out and fully realized this robot world is. I also love Ratchet and Madame Gasket and the "Underground" song scene. And of course, Mel Brooks is amazing as always. Truly one of Blue Sky's best.

A little bit of Robin Williams makes everything sweet. He truly had the gift of gab and humor . "MONSTER IN PARIS" is an animated gem that has an amazing storyline. It's fun, funny and intriguing all at the same time. Johnny Depp's ex wife Vanessa Paradis did an amazing voice over for one of the leading characters.

I was so obsessed with Robin Williams as a kid, Rest in peace :( I love this movie, the representation of a poor family, and a big dreamer. Gets me everytime. Also, I'd recommend HoodWinked! For somereason its a great fall, thanksgiving movie lol 😂

It's funny you compared Tim to a hand puppet because when I watched the movie for the first time, I tought he was a puppet. He also reminded me of Guignol, a hand puppet very famous here, in France where I live (it's part of my childhood). Fun fact : there's a robot looking like Sid of " Ice Age " in the scene where Rodney discover the robot who " do the robot "

Since you cover so many diverse animations, one of our favorites from the late 90's is Quest For Camelot. It's a really great movie that seems to have been lost by the wayside, probably because it's Warner Bros. and not Disney. Eric Idle, Cary Elwes, Gary Oldman, Pierce Brosnan. Highly recommended.

I'd simply describe it as 'imaginative with a heart and a message', of course it's pretty obvious but it doesn't take itself too seriously to sacrifice the other elements of the story.

My boyfriend and I play factorio! It's his favorite game. We got a kick out of you mentioning it here. After playing, I see factorio in everything. I'll be driving down the road and notice some telephone poles that aren't placed as optimally as I'd like and then realize I'm just thinking about factorio haha.

I loved Robots. I liked how the world seemed to feel similar to that if a film like Treasure Planet, or something like that. And yeah, how could you not love the creativity overall in this film? And yeah, Robin Williams, Ewan McGregor, and the rest of the cast were great. The only complaints that I a would have for this movie are that Rodney, and Cappy’s relationship could have maybe been developed a little more, and some of the humor was a little too crude at times. Other than those, I definitely enjoy this film overall, and would love to rewatch it again from time to time.

Abominable is also a good movie it's about 3 kids from Hong-Kong helping a yeti get back to mount Everest but along the way they discover theYeti has supernatural powers that makes it harder but also funny to bring it back home while trying to avoid a man who's trying to hurt said creature

The big fight scene nearing the end I think is a reference to Hoffa (1992) - (not so much for kids!) which is an underrated film. The workers that have stayed (like Ratchet's army), suddenly come out of these giant metal doors with weapons the strikers don't have. The result is different though and more realistic.
