Robyn Hood Review FINALE The HORRIFIC Conclusion 

Robyn Hood Review of the Finale episode 8 of season 1. This is the last episode of Director X's adaptation of the Robin Hood story that no-one can recognise as the original story, only as a horrific one. Long gone are Robin Hood's morals or fighting for the people, now Prince John is the hero alongside the Sherrif, which raised a problem for the finale! We had to force completely out of character statements, acts and get the hood gang to entirely lie about their own actions. Just to TRY and convince the audience that our main characters are not the bad guys by any definition. While there is no way this Robyn Hood series should get a series 2, as it is tax payer funded and stocked full of the very latest in societal destructive ideas. Maybe that's exactly what Canada wants! At this point anything is possible, but until then, I'll take pleasure in the end story, Prince John becomes mayor, evicts everyone and sends them to prison forever! Hmm. The tower's civilian population is racially diverse, but the criminal hood gang is 100% black. I love when people accidentally tell on themselves.

The woman who was shot and paralyzed as consequences for criminal trespassing decided that the best way to end the finale is to... Criminally trespass. Yeah, not the smartest cookie in the coo- NO! Not the cookie jar!

And now...we've reached the season finale of "Disparu losing his mind..."

I wonder how crazy it makes Director X that people get more excited for reviews of "Robyn Hood" than actually watch the show.

The funniest thing to me, is that even the show itself admits that many people have already left the building and taken prince's offer to take the better homes over the current trash building. In other words, the smartest characters in the show have already left.

The Despot brought up a good point in his review of this train wreck: The tower-blocks of the Projects were widely regarded as signs of oppression of urban minorities and poor, and the people living in them UTTERLY HATED the Project Towers. (Crime flourished in the Projects, too.) literally NO ONE was sad to see them demolished. But Director X, genius that he is, seems to believe that black and poor people _belong_ in the Projects

The only thing missing from this show is the residents of Sherwood and Forest to set their own houses on fire while chanting "We matter!"

This is so much more entertaining than the show could ever be! Ya think director ex realizes just how many "offensive" stereotypes he jammed in this magnum opus?!?

So...she's broadcasting online a political statement that she will not comply with a court order to vacate, and will use violence in support of that political aim...this is beyond criminal, at this point it's counting down the hours until JTF2 arrives and solves this problem for them.

I am in disbelief about how John Prince; the supposed bad guy has been the most reasonable character in the entire show. With a show like this, where they try to portray characters like him to be as vile as possible in hopes you won’t notice the main character’s actions, he has constantly made efforts to negotiate peacefully with Sherwood even though out everything they did to him. Either it was a Miracle it slipped past Director X or they’re so delusional that they think this constitutes as being evil. The whole thing about drowning the homes to make a moat thing kinda seems like something they pulled out last minute to attempt to make him look evil but it kinda comes off as out of character. I also fail to see how wanting to raise the value of the area - making it a better place for everyone, is a bad thing.

This happens all the time in modern writing, when the writers finally realise that their villains are more sympathetic than the heroes, they have them commit senseless atrocities that don't even benefit them or their plans.

So this finale is just about a landlord trying to get rid of squatters?

My guess is that the "hood" learned about property development from playing Monopoly and are worried Prince will get a complete set of one colour.

Season 2 predictions: Lionheart is the father to either Robyn or Jill, and Guy Gisbane is the father of the other. It would explain why the tower thinks Robyn's mother is some sort of community leader.

We continue down the age of entertainment where I enjoy reviewers more than the original material Hollywood produces. What a sad yet oddly peaceful place to be.

I've never watched a show wanting the "antagonist" to win. He actually did nothing wrong throughout the series and the writers just made him do some unnecessary crimes at the end to make him look evil. The show has been a great insight into the creator's worldview

To be fair to Vlad the Implailer, he was a beloved hero of his own subjects and only feared by invaders and criminals... So he'd more than likely be the real hero in this show

So Robyn worked 2 days in 8 episodes and made a tower block bunker down. Who works here?... Did they all just move in and then after 60 days of no rent feel like they deserved to stay without paying? So the landlord and staff lost their jobs ...or are being held against their will? Someone had to pass out the eviction notices. The stores only have the supplies the Hood stole for now, but was Director X planning to have them jump into the future? Where the plan went through and they're using boats because he floods the area for no reason? Where was this going? I guess the bouncy castle needed a moat 🤣

16:00 - "Let's barricade ourselves into a building that's _scheduled for demolition,_ because that's always a good idea!" 35:00 - This is _all_ on camera, probably without sound. He's got them dead to rights attacking him. That attorney is disbarred at the very least.

I love how the supposed villain has already won without doing anything illegal while the heros have committed all kind of crimes. But the writers realized that so they make the bad guy pull out of nowhere the most stupid, nonsensical and evil plan of all.

I desperately need a season two in my life. The level of stupid of this thing is just addictive.

I think you're right. The fact that the "insane" lines are out of camera leads me to believe that Director X initially just set up the "bad guy" to just wanting to gentrify the place while downtalking the peasants, and they had to introduce that last minute change because of how widely derided this garbage has been. Amp it to 11 since people don't seem to be developing any of this visceral hatred for the random rich white guy he himself feels.

The entire end plots regarding prince and the sheriff are literally the most "i couldn't figure out how to make this character absolutely evil before now" storybeat that i have ever seen. Prince buying up the land _before_ flooding it, is literally not even evil. He could actually flood it at his leisure and evict everyone at once prior, and it would be well within his rights. The sheriff didn't need to shoot anyone. you could literally arrest them as they leave and it would slowly whittle down the number of people that are in the building. she could even contact prince and have him shut off the power and water from these squatters, and they would all be done. point blank. knocking these people out does literally nothing. they ALL have the law on their side (at least before the "i need to make these characters evil" part came in).

With all of the criminals seemingly living in the same area, building a wall around those buildings would probably have been far easier. _We’re barricading ourselves in_ Oh no.. the prisoners are refusing to leave their cells.

Wait, was she playing with a real sword? Why would her mommy let her kid even have access to a sword? This show should have been called "Robbing Hood and the Red Flags" for all the transgressions against good citizenship.

Cops in this universe shoot an unarmed old woman for a slight insult but don’t shoot the criminals shooting chemical weapons at them. Very sound logic lol.

Before I even watch this video I want to say this train wreck has been a blast having you commentate on it Disparu. Turning trash into comedy Gold for our entertainment and having to suffer though it we thank you 👍😘

I'm gonna miss these weekly showcases. Not that the show itself has been quality viewing, but what Disparu's been able to do with it. I NEVER actively want people to create media that's "so bad it's good" - because if that's your goal, you've failed instantly. This has been a rare instance of the stars aligning, cherish it lads.

All of that had to have been put in during post production because someone reviewing it whispered to Director X, “Um…your main bad guy isn’t a villain.” And X exclaimed, “But…but, he’s white! He’s rich! He owns a bunch of property! That’s got to make him evil!”

I theorize that they changed this last episode based on all the reviews they were getting from the previous episodes, all pointing out how the sheriff and John Prince were the actual good guys, and Robyn and crew are the bad guys. Their victim mentality stories were not working, so they had to force in some evil from out of now where.

Most of this episode felt like the Siege of Vraks from Warhammer 40k. Which is fitting since the invaders are the good guys and the defenders are the evil degenerates who believe that they can do whatever they want with no consequence

Prince's motives are entirely unrealistic. I agree that they realized they had made him too likeable, and so took a crazy left turn to try to ruin him.

The big villain is a straight, white, rich male businessman that owns land. I saw in one interview Director X said something along the lines of "If I wanted to go the easy route I would have made him Trump." Totally covered his tracks there.

I could not even imagine watching this garbage myself. But, I never miss an episode of your breakdown of this train wreck.

24:57 To be fair, knowing who Vlad the Impaler was up against, the lifetime of abuse and betrayal he suffered, and the fact he actually saved his country from Turkish invasion, it's easy to not only paint him as sympathetic or heroic. There's a reason people in that region still lionize him the way Americans do with George Washington. If anything, I think it speaks to this writer's bizarre inversion of talent that he wrote not one, but 90+% of the characters as less moral and sympathetic than one of the scariest men in human history.

We need a season 2 for this. I really want to know how she gonna live without the cookie jar.

Got to love the creative interpretation of laws all through the series. Does Canada really work under GTA-series, avoid physically interacting with the police for 'a day' and all charges are dropped.

The best thing in this review series is your reaction to that rich guy dancing(and your constant jokes about the jar). This Robyn Hood show is garbage but I will fully admit that dancing scene was gold lol 😂.

Prince should and likely does own a bunch of properties in a lot of areas and people like him tend to buy up properties in areas around the properties they own. this is not unusual. None of this means anything. Any person like him that you looked up and what they owned you'd find similar things. he probably owns the same thing in multiple places in that very city and maybe others as well. This is the dumbest plot point ever but keeps getting used in this nonsense.

Apple has extremely strict rules in Hollywood about not allowing their products to be shown as being used by any bad guys in a movie or show; so . . . we know who Apple thinks is the good guys in this show.

Director X’s talent: the “evil” characters THAT HE HAS FULL CONTROL OF WRITING, despite their random violent acts like the episode 1 freak out shooting, still cannot be evil. He cannot make an evil character that he wrote… At least have the cop attack the mom before Robyn attacks him.

The ADR thing is so insidious. They've completely changed the guy's character from what he actually acted out, most likely never told him the context of the lines being dubbed in, and took away any potential for him to object to the way he's being characterised.

This show is the most underrated comedy in 2023! From solidifying ALL the negative black stereotypes, demonizing businessmen trying to improve essentially a demiliterized zone and the catch phrase "Its Robbing time!" This show is gold!

You almost have to love how the filmed the show and then realized Prince was never evil so they had to fix it in post. Worst case scenario is shooty cop get tossed under the bus as having gone rogue because they have no other evidence the sheriff did anything wrong. And even her murder of the bad cop can easily be explained because he suffered blunt force trauma to the back of the head and a clot could have easily formed and then caused a stroke. I truly want a S2 just to see how they try to write more of this crap.

quick question: Can't Prince just call the city and request the water and electricity be shut off? I'd imagine if he owns the buildings, and he has people basically squatting on the property, then he could pull those two major resources and make them at least very uncomfortable.

It looks like that arrow hit his armor. If it's hard armor, then the arrow would have bounced or shattered. If it's soft armor, then the arrow would have gone through. Considering that the arrow stuck we can assume he's using soft armor, but by the fact that it barely stuck and did no damage to the officer we can conclude that the bow is incredibly weak. We're talking baby's first bow here; ballistic soft armor is not made to stop broadheads.

Director X is breaking new ground with this series! A show that follows the exploits of the villains, and in the end the villains also win. The guy is an artistic genius. I guess we would call this "the villains journey"?

ok her new "bow" looks like it is made of metal that won't flex nor spring back very well. You can't just take metal scrap & turn it into an effective working bow

Pretty sure a “foldable bow” wouldn’t work… if it has joints, and is in pieces, how will it bend and hold enough tensile strength to fire an arrow. It would, at best, bend above the joints and do nothing, at worst, just break or not bend.

The first conversation with the mom, the bouncy castle clip, and the obsession with the cookie jar were the greatest 😆 The commentary for all of it was even more hilarious and still made it more entertaining than the show itself. Disparu continues to take a bullet for everyone and it’s still genius XD

When Projector X set up a season 2 because he thought he was gonna get a season 2 I laughed, truly a television show! 😂

What actually infuriated me nonstop were that Prince's guards had the upper hand (and probably guns too) during a scene then after it cuts away to another stupid scene the guards are all knocked down in hand-to-hand fighting. My first question was: WHY?! You have guns. Use them! But credit for Director X for making this, whenever I'm angry or sad I'll just watch this and see the based man John Prince take on the world of "diverse" women.

For the love of comedy, I very much hope we get a season 2. Not because the show is actually worthwhile on its own, but because I have not laughed harder than over the past weeks thanks to you and Az reviewing this travesty

We need many more seasons of this. No matter how dumb I feel, I will always know that there are bigger idiots out there. Also... I really hope that there is a "making of" as well. This is pure entertainment!!

So the villains plan was to barricade themselves in the Towers & not let them in by barricading the doors from the outside (which FYI don't open outwards they open the inwards so a Barricade infront of the door is useless as the Police could just remove it then open the door). Firstly this is not how you would defend a building, you'd create defenses around the entrance points so the Police can't enter the building without going through your defences. Secondly you'd have people patrolling the building incase someone got in & thridly if the Live Stream was so important why didn't they have guards stationed outside the apartment it was being boardcast from? How is it a random cop can enter the building, climb multiple stairs & enter your base of operations without any resistance at all? I'm no military man, but even I wouldn't be that thick in a seige. Speaking of "the seige" if this was real the Sheriff would'e just staved them out, cut power to the building & block all incoming supplies to the Tower & let the residents either come out willingly for food or wait them out & starve them to death. There's no need to seige the Tower (unless your forced to) the Police have most of the advantages, they have the building surrounded, they have the entrances blocked off, they have the roads locked down so no food can reach the Towers, they have superior weaponary (the Towers have home made gas bombs, while the cops have guns, explosives, drones, body armour etc...). Also why did the Police give up after just 1 officer went down? 1 officer being injuried wouldn't be a good enough reason for the seige to stop, so the Sheriff has no reason to kill the officer at all she still has her other men, she still has the building under control, she still has the advantage. I know "the plot" needed it to happen, but wouldn't it be more interesting if the season ended with The Hood gang admitting they can't win & have to flee from the Towers to save the children while the adults stay behind to give them time to escape? The season ends with John Prince (the so called villain) winning having aquired the Towers having actually taken something from The Hood (yes Prince would still be legally be in the right, but the residents would have a actually reason to hate John Prince now instead of "Rich Man Bad"). I'll say this in the show's defence, it gave us some great comedy with Az, Dispau & others ripping this show a new hole. I do feel sorry for the actors involved in the show, they knew this was dog sh!t from the start but had to do it; Now they have this show on their CV & that will never go away (ask Daisy Ridley what being in a sh!t movie series does to your career).

Still trying to wrap my head around how we are supposed to root for the group of individuals that would rather wage war with the owners of a property trying to evict them than MOVE TO THE HOUSES THE OWNER OFFERED TO PROVIDE ALONG WITH 1 MILLION DOLLARS. What is so special about this tower block? Is it built over an ancient Indian burial ground? Can you really call a place that you've apparently been RENTING for generations "home"?

Prince would have been so easy to fix, why didn’t they start with him as a corrupt mayor who keeps raising taxes on hard working people to try to force them out of a tower he wants to buy? This is such a stupid lazy plot, the writer just thought: who do I hate and how can I shoehorn him in as the villain?

Did we ever find out who owned the apartment block? Like before all this went down, who collected the rent? Why was the mayor involved with the acquisition? Why didn't Prince just buy it from them? Why did he try to negotiate with the Mom? Just trying to understand if I missed something. It would make sense if Lionheart was the old landlord and its just been stuck in probate or something. Not sure anyone thought this through.

I just can't get over gun guy of the sheriff department always having his hand on his gun and then having it out and ready while on his mission to stop Robyn's mom. But then not using it despite being given so many chances. He could have shot her upon entering and just blamed the Hood as he wouldn't have even been visible on the stream yet. Or shot the laptop then her. Or shot Robyn after she shot him, Or after he beat her up. Sure he'd have been on camera at the time but with the arrow wound he could argue self defense. You can't have him constantly holding his gun and swinging it around and then have him actually be very reserved about using it. Is he eager to use his gun again or not?

It horrifies me that I can see the deeper, subtler undertones and goals of this drek: They WANT us thinking that anyone who resists authority and the powerful are as delusional as these people! THAT is what these shows are about!
