Charles S Dutton said the show was canceled was the network wanted it to be more comedy and less serious like the wayans or Martin he told them no so the show was blackballed
Sure, because reboots are always so well done? This show was amazing and doesn’t need it’s reputation tarnished with a terrible modern version. It would be nice to have clean, remastered versions available to view and purchase.
Well it's because of people like you not tuning in at the time. Low ratings. Now y'all are talking about how deeply underrated it was. Classic case of not knowing what you got until it's gone.
Charles S. Dutton is a real LIFE actor. He took his frustration with life situations and applied it to his acting skills. This dude put fear in his lines and emotion in his voice to deliver an incredible performance. Roc was top tier even though i was two years old when it was cancelled.
I live in St Louis, and it’s so bad over here… it breaks my heart. I help mentor teens at my boxing gym, and teach them to fight and stay away from drugs and gang life. I went from being a heroin junkie to turning my life around and helping these kids, buying them equipment, giving rides to the gym and home, feeding them, giving them anything I can. I truly love them all. If you have been involved in gangs or with drugs, you owe it to your community and to yourself to help others. God bless all of us.
@@coachbigheadMerlin didn’t want to talk to a young girl and she lied and said he raped her. So, as they were leaving, some guys shot at the car and a bullet went through the trunk and hit Merlin in the head.
@@862leonexactly. He was a good kid who tried to protect himself. He made a bad decision that cost him his life. The murderer had no dad, never heard that one before.
We need Charles S. Dutton on the Breakfast Club. I still want to know how a show of this magnitude only lasted 3 seasons, but I can probably guess. The message was way too powerful for the powers that be. This show as well South Central were just as good as The Fresh Prince.
10:58 Roc tells him that if the bully wants his jacket, he needs to give it up. Other family shows would say he should stand up for himself or tell a teacher or a cop, but Roc is being realistic. The bully might literally murder him and the jacket isn't worth his life. It's some brutal honesty.
Especially in those days. Now kids in Baltimore are happy to wear clothing from Under Armour or even Shein. In the nineties the poverty in Baltimore was so bad in so many households. Kids really were killing each other over jackets and shoes.
The boy with the gun plays in people under the strairs n fresh prince too n other stuffn also he play in michael jackson's moonwalker n play michael jackson in the kid version of bad lol 🙏😎❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂
. &&&&& The fact the boy didn't even attend the same school as Terrance is CRAZZYYY ... THAT BOY HAD NO BUSINESS IN THAT SCHOOL ANYWAY . . . WHERE WAS SECURITY . .... this episode speaks so many volumes on what's going on today . . 😢😢😢😢😢😢
I know they said you dont need a gun but I noticed when he give up the gun he got shot but I say this i think you need a gun when u need it not for stupid stuff because police n gangs have guns but nobody say nothing about that but when a civilian or helpless person have a gun they made it like it ain't right but your have the right to protection regardless who r🙏😎❤️❤️❤️❤️
Roc was right he should have just given the bully his jacket and told his parents or the principal. Once you pull out a weapon on someone they won't forget that and they will come back to harm you when you least expect it. Roc acted like a father figure to the young guy and Sheila in the episode. It's sad the boy got killed.💔💔💔
