It is so unfortunate this was the last episode of ROC. ROC should have definitely had a longer run. My Mount Rushmore of Black Sitcoms Good Times, The Cosby Show, The Jeffersons and Roc. This is my favorite episode of ROC

Excellent scene! Sometimes the only ones who can get through to the young people are the people who've actually been where they're headed. Clifton Powell should have got some kind of award for that scene. I agree with the people who said Roc should have got more than three seasons. Again, excellent scene!

I loved this because the show didn't blow smoke. At this point Andre would love to be someone different, but knows he's too far gone. There is no fairytale ending for him. He's got nothing else but his drug empire. But it sounds like he lived by some sort of code in how he did business, because it sounded like he was disgusted that the kid used a drive by. And he saw a way to keep a young man from walking his path and sought to stop him. Powerful stuff.

DeAndre Thompson may have been a drug dealer, but when he's spending most of his youth in the penitentiary he knew the do's and don't to school that punk we need more people like him in this crazy world.

That kid is too stupid! In for a rude awakening! I was so mad when they cancelled this show. It was really good and real!

If all the people who said they wished the show lasted longer tuned in, it probably would have. Sometimes people don't appreciate these shows until after the fact. Roc's ratings were never as high as Martin's or In Living Color, both great shows in their own right.

This show was too real for its time . Now it would’ve lasted but back then if people wanted drama, they watch soap operas. It’s too bad because this was a great show. It showed up the world. Was it all fun and games? Like married with children made it out to be a Roseann or hell even the fucking Huxtables. The Cosby show never would’ve had the balls to do a show like this

Should have got an Emmy

Roc was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I loved the whole cast too. I don't watch tv anymore not even streaming sites but these old shows from my youth still are great, deep and resonate. Fox in NYC at least had a good run of shows with Roc, 21 Jump Street and such outside of Married with Children and In Living Color.
