Rock Crawling on Billings Canyon & The Cutoff Trail [Rock Junction Part 1]

You know the obstacles are good when there's a spill kit installed permanently between two of the obstacles! Join us for the trail experience from Rock Junction 2022 in our Jeeps - this annual event features rock crawling trails all over Montrose, Rangely and Grand Junction!
We visit Billings Canyon Trail in Grand Junction, along with it's sister trail "The Cutoff" to see what our JL is capable of on some fun, technical rock sections of the trail. While there was a "no winching" goal, not everything can always go to plan. We're joined by some of Grand Mesa Jeep Club's finest wheelers - leading and tail gunning in their YJ buggies, along with some other folks doing this for the first time in their built JLs and JKs on 40s.... and of course a Ford Ranger with a SAS for good measure!

Great video I really enjoy seeing what Different builds are able to do on a trail such as this. A good friend of mine told me we're doing this trail this summer. I looked up some videos, Thinking to myself, there's no way my jeeps going to make it through there. Now I'm confident after seeing this video that it's going to be a fun summer of jeepen

So just got Back from the mountains so little late. Thank god y’all explained the water in the tail light 🤣🤣🤣. Now for the love of god Dan, get some Oakley’s 🤣🤣🤣. Love ya!

I don't think they sell Oakleys in bulk boxes for guys that loose their glasses every other day 😅 but if I'm wrong, and they do, do they make em safety rated for the shop too? Lol

Thank you! We have got Bronco parts rolling off the production floor everyday now it seems. Have some Aluminum bronco belly skids getting tested out too right now 😉 always fun to test out new platforms!

Glad you like those diff skids! We were all over both of them last weekend haha. And yes, the passenger side tail lamp filled with water from a crack near the top.... Next week's video from 21 Road (a county road that is also a rock crawling trail) show's their demise haha.
