To this day, this still is the best remix of this track. No other remix/remaster was able to keep the "heavy" and "menacing" essence of the original soundtrack as well as this one. Great job! Favorited!

Absolute fire. I always find it odd this comical pig army had such a nightmare fuel boss theme, but it sure upped the ante.

The boss theme does sound fitting for an extraterrestrial threat, given the pigs’ origins as invaders and their Pig Star.

I just want to say as a kid who grew up in the 90s SNES and Genesis. This is just insane, you didn't change it enough to make it strange but you added so much to it that it was your own. And that's hard because the original was amazing in its own way like you went hard mode straight away. It's on my playlist, what are you doing next?

What I really love about this cover is that you not only made it your own, but with each return to its opening notes, you gave us something new to hear, keeping a listener engaged and wondering what's next. The type of boss theme that, if this were in the game, you'd want the fight to last longer to feel the energy behind it all coming together. Not that the original doesn't do that, already, but this cover moreso.

I really like it, but it feels like it's too "busy" or rather it's hard to make out distinct instruments/notes. There's times that they kinda blend together too much. Could you upload a version with less reverb/echo? I think that may be what I'm hearing. Other than that, awesome job dude! I might have to import this into Smash Bros for Final Destination stage music.

I love that you picked the train boss for the thumbnail. This track is phenomenal, but the train boss captures the intensity and essence of it more than any other boss in the game imo. They all deserve this track but the train boss deserves it the most lol

@@lukejansen3540 it certainly was... and there were a lot to choose from lol. Every damn boss in the game was top tier in their own right, each one very memorable. I'm going full nostalgia mode but that was probably the first game I played that was like... really hard but I couldn't put it down. I just had to keep at it. So it's got a crowded field of amazing bosses, but the train takes the top spot. Just something about the auto-scrolling minecart section, and that part was a thing in and of itself lol so many ways to stupidly die or die not even stupidly but just not knowing what was about to happen the next second, plus the silly music. Then you go into that cave and this music starts up again and you're like "shit has already gotten real. I didn't need more... but at the same time... >_>"

There are so many little nuances going on this track... far ahead of its time for a chip tune. Instrumentation of the main theme is woven in there, there are alarms going off, that haywire kazoo driving the buildup... just a beautiful piece of scoring and you've done it justice here.
