@@user-kr4ob4mw8d If you want a good draw through your stove: 1. Maintain the Cross Section Area (CSA) from stove entrance to exhaust exit, 2. Insulate the exhaust pipe so hot gas continues a strong rise draw.
have you fired this stove up! i built a similar stove ie 4'' square tubing large gas bottle housing, it did not have enough flow to continue the burn the rocket concept worked with paper or saw dust but no luck with sticks that were bigger then a pencil curious to know your results. Thanks
Yes I fired it up and it runs great using sticks pine cones ...and whatever. You can see that in my Rocket Stove Part 3 video. thanks for your interest
Ryan I have fired it up and it flowed very well. I did a video and posted it on my site . Please check it out. The video was the last in my series on this stove.
As the video states , This stove is for emergencies in case of a power outage. However there are stoves very similar to this that are going on the 3rd season with no sign of fail. ( KSPrepper1 )
Stoves like this have nearly a zero rate of failure and are very safe if the designs are kept basic. I would trust this design over a wood burning or wood pellet stove running on low while I was asleep.
