Hey Mark! Thanks for this video! I'm doing rocking a lot of times a day combining with stationary movement. What do you mean when you say not to over doing rocking? Is there any drawback doing it too much?
@@ferenc3460 If you're just beginning then you should take it easy. The first few initial releases of tension from the eye muscles can be very intense and can make your eyes sore. However if you're past that hump, rock as much as you'd like!
@@lstephen I've been able to see 20/20 since 2019! The problem was that I wasn't able to see 20/20 all the time. Yes, this fast improvement goes again all the other methods when it comes to vision improvement but since I learned to see clearly, my eyes have never been one prescription. It would constantly fluctuate depending on stress, mood, fatigue, etc. When you learn to release tension from you eyes and body you actually able to see perfectly clear immediately. Just because it took you xx amount of years to get to the level of myopia you have doesn't mean it will take the same amount of time to improve. Remember this is all muscle imbalances and tension. It's like learning how to get a tight hamstring to release tension so you become more flexible. The problem is that we're so used to holding tension all the time, it hard to learn to relax all the time to see clearly. Fast forward, how's my vision today? I see perfectly clear most of the time but there are times when my vision can go soft. Fact...even people that don't wear glasses don't see clearly all the time! The difference is I know exactly what causes my vision to go soft and more importantly I can clear my vision at any time when I need to. Sometime it takes a little more concentration and effort but I can clear it at will. So when is my vision soft? When I'm stressed, when I'm tired, and when I've had alcohol (some bourbons and white wine in particular can leave me foggy for a day or two). There are a few other conditions that can cause my vision to go softer but the point is once I've become aware that my eyes are getting lazy so to speak, I can get them to snap out of it and start seeing clearly again. It still take work and conscious awareness but I've not worn glasses at all in over two years! I hope this helps.
@@MyopiaIsMental I truly appreciate your elaborate reply here Mark clearing up a whole lot, you're amazing! Your diligent and thorough approach earn my respect. Keep up the good work bro!
Listen to this man, he is a genius. I have been doing these things for 9 months and I have to say, my eyes are much better. I used to wear -5 glasses previously and now I don't need glasses. My vision is not perfect all the time yet but I am working on it. Thank you Mark.
Ummm.. what do you mean your vision is not perfect all the time? Does your vision get back to -5.00 or does it only change slightly? Do you have to maintain your clear flashes to see 20/20 or something else???
@allenwagner225 Are you also doing any other method other than this? How much time in a day you do this? Also does it cause temporary double vision ? Can these exercises be done outdoors ?
So, I took your basic course, and I have been doing the methods every day for a Especially outside of work, I will be doing the object movement exercise and the rocking a lot. I had my first clear flash for one second while walking to work today which was crazy. I saw and read a sign that was 75-100 feet away. Everything else around me cleared for a second. My mind was blown! I haven’t been able to read anything past a couple inches from my face for 14 years, let alone nearly a hundred feet away. I always needed contacts or glasses (I am -7.75 diopters in both eyes). It was an amazing experience, and I am so excited to keep going.
I love to hear comments like this! The clear flash is proven sign that there's nothing wrong with your eyes or vision. The problem is tension and the cure is learning how to keep your body, not just your eyes, relaxed in order to relieve tension. It can be a long journey but if you stick with it, you'll learn more about yourself then you'll ever imagine. You won't just be fixing your vision, but your entire well-being will be drastically improved! Keep at it!
@@MyopiaIsMental hello mark, i have been doing these exercise for a few months and i have gotten a lot of clear flashes But they are so short and you have to keep focusing. My question is it a long term solution, because to have a clear flash or to clear the vision you have to focus and then it clears up but not automatically So like without focusing or will my eyes work normally? I hope you can understand what i am trying to say. And sorry for poor english
This was the hardest part for me as well in the beginning. but how bad do you want to improve? The more you want it, the more consistent you will become. Fear of success is often what holds us back!
Hey man, just letting you know you have another person here whom you've helped quite a lot. Perhaps my problem wasn't as big as some others (-2.50 myopia) but I'm seeing so much clearer now that I've consistently practiced your rocking techniques for several months. It's unbelievable. My double vision problems and headaches are gone. Thank you so much dude. I'll repay you someday 🙂
I improved my myopia in about 2 years. Started with Bates method, used shifting method that’s very effective, I wear everyday pine hole glasses for 15-20 min while watching tv, and I’m doing Chinese acupressure at least once a day it helps tremendously. And no IPhone watching I noticed that it harms a lot my vision, iPad doesn’t. Thanks for your method I will implement. Oh and I went from -1,25 to -0,5. Also my ophthalmologist couldn’t believe he said he never so vision improvement, it’s normal they don’t want us to know it’s a huge industry ever increasing cash flow 😂😂 He told me you’ll get back in 1 to 2 years because you’ll need reading glasses. It was 4 years ago and I can see perfectly the tiniest letters. I use bates method reading very small prints in bright light (not every day but often).
Hi Mark , I can notice muscle motion in my eye, it’s a fantastic thing and everything around is moving and then more tridimensional!!! I’ll go on this exercise! Thank you, bro! God bless you.
The Part of Closing your eyes and letting the whole body relax is crucial I feel, I'm discovering similar things what you point to. Still a long way to go.
I love this. It’s like active meditation. If it feels good I’m more likely to do it consistently. The way you explain things so clearly is very helpful thank you 🙏
Me, i started since 40 days in the journey to restore my eyesight. My eye test will be after tomorrow, i am sure i have improved but i don't know how much . What i did was taking off my glasses completly and doing active focus every day And you what you did in your journey to restore your eyesight??
I came across your channels on eyesight only quite recently and I am very impressed and grateful!! I used to follow the Meir Schneider protocolls, which have very much in common with your insights. Now I`ll get back to work on it again, thank you very much, Sir!!
Funny how i always went to gym trying to estabilish a muscle-mind connection, trying to visualize every muscle of my body involved on the exercise i was performing… and i’ve never thought to use that muscle-mind connection to the group of muscle around the eyes
Ohhhh! You really help me with trigger Active Focus I just did what you say, instead of stare at one single object, start switch between various object and aware of peripheral of course, my visin start become sharp but not perfect clear, it is just double vision. But i feel my eyes are stretching!
I'm finding just doing the basic bates exercises for myopia, is making my astigmatism improve. Even palming for thirty seconds .my astigmatism is terrible, but it'll clear up for awhile if i can get my eys to relax my eyes.
Ive been making very good progress, I generally see sharper most of the time, just sharper, occasionally I see extremely clear, everytime more and more frequently, theres hope
Hello Mark, learning to juggle comes to mind after watching this movie. I can see the similarities. Learning to juggle a lot involves peripheral vision. What do you think about this ? Does juggling engage the eye to work in the same way as the method of rocking? Personally, I can confirm that juggling improves peripheral vision, I found out for myself. However, I do not know how it can affect the sense of sight in general. I'm glad you made another movie
Juggling can be an excellent way to improve your vision and yes it does help improve the peripheral and overall vision! My only hesitation for those beginning trying to improve their vision is that juggling objects move fast vs rocking. When rocking, the movement of the stationary objects are slower and your brain can get used to and better understand how things are supposed to move. After you get used to rocking adding in things like juggling or even playing sports like tennis, badminton, pickleball, etc, can help tremendously. Just like babies, you have to crawl before you can walk, before you can run!
For some people, when they roll their tongue and the tip of the tongue goes back to the floor of the mouth, it can helps gets more oxygen through their nostrils. For other people, it is more about doing an yawn and notice tongue position while performing it. Also the upper lip position. I was looking for "How deeper my voice" to sound more confident and not to strain my throath, because my father has an outstanding deeper Voice but he smokes a lot. So I do perceived the movement of smoking, lips closed, tongue position and concentration on breath, each cigarette uses to give 15 inhales, so basically to deepen the voice -- and relax our vocal cords -- we need 10 to 15 proper inhales or yawns and plenty of water. A weird thing, Richard Bandler (NLP father) uses to say "your nose is connected to your balls", of course he is also playing with words "nose" and "knows" or "knows it", but by watching Tonny Robbins and other famous people with strong voice I can notice many of them move one or other nostrils while moving their upper lip most the time. It might simulate a slightly yawn movement that could keeps us relaxed for a long period of time.
You are giving me hope after being overwhelmed with all the eye programs based on Bates especially the Eagles Eyes with high pressure to join up for a year program for 2k! I have primarily age related reading issues where I am up to 3 readers. Am I on the right track to try to use less strength whenever I can. i find I need at least 1.5- 2 for example to work in the kitchen.
Hey Mark, thank you for sharing your experiences and techniques with us, your videos are great! One question though, you said in your videos that you only use your glasses when necessary. I'm highly myopic in both eyes (around -7 ) and have classes all weekdays from 8am to 4pm, I have to wear my glasses during lessons for 40 minutes, should I take them off during recess (about 5~25minutes) ?
Yes, absolutely! There are plenty of times you can go without your glasses throughout the day. Even while in class and listening to lectures, do you always need your glasses. Now if you need to see something on the board, absolutely use your glasses, but if you just need to listen and take notes, you don't need glasses for that. This is why I recommend glasses over contacts because you can take them on and off anytime. I'll be doing a video on this topic soon!
What I struggle the most with (and it makes me very frustrated) is having to wear glasses at work. It's 8 hours of glasses and I can feel it gets in the way of progress. My vision is not improving anymore since I work again and have to use them so often. Sometimes while wearing them I can feel my eyes trying to adjust as if there were no glasses but that doesn't work of course. It makes my eyes feel very tired with all this confusion. The glasses I use are already 0.5 less prescription that what I would need. I don't know what to do to ger over this problem
This can be a challenge but think about this... There are 8 hours a day that you may have to wear glasses but there are 16 hours left in the day that you don't! Yes, part of that time is going to be when you're sleep but what about the rest of the time? In addition, find times throughout your working day when you can take your glasses off and work on your vision. It could be going to the bathroom, eating lunch or even walking across the room. The more you teach yourself to navigate the world without the obstructions of glasses the faster you start to reteach the brain to see the new perspective. As always only take your glasses off when it's safe to do so. It very much can be confusing when switching all the time (which is one of the main reasons I don't recommend differentials and normalized glasses) and I ran into this issue myself. However, I was very persistent in working on my vision every chance I got!
Apparently we should wear lower strength lenses for short distance, at least when we’re starting out on this journey. I can’t see my computer screen without gasses but I’ve ordered 1.5 diopters lower
An interesting thing is happened with me and i don't know the answer, that is after doing my tratak session with very hard active focus eye tearing but i don't stop until one or two drop tear fall out of eye and after that what an amazing thing start to happen with me i close my eye roll it wipe the extra tears and when I open my eyes every thing 🥰 looks crystal clear 🥲 i can't explain you the clarity it was just super clear , then for few minutes i enjoy and just stair to a thing i always seen blur and seeing it clearly without anything is a amazing experience 😊 that I never get with spectacles i tell you the truth i hate spectacles so much that after few weeks i put a diwali bomb cracker in my spectacle box and blasted with my glases and after some months in have never weared glasses you can imagine my anger with glasses 👓 and the sad parts start here after few minutes that crystal clear vision start to blur again then I again do tratak and again enjoy my clear vision 😊 but how long and i am done with my efforts and leave improving my eyes and then this man came and fired me and i restart my journey hatts of to you man. Myopia is mental
you said in your free course in the topic myopia is mental not medical that your eyes are prescribed for -5D but still you saw clearly, so I want to ask that is the clarity is for few time in which you are concentrating yourself and it is 100% all the time . (I am talking about the phase in which you have recovered myopia as you said before) .
At the end of the video you say you were doing this rocking all day every day. But then when you were describing the exercise you said "don't over do it" - what did you mean by 'over do it'?
I have had people who contacted me who are farsighted that tried these techniques and they said they worked! I think it can work for any one whether near or farsighted. It's a matter of reconditioning the eyes muscles to work properly.
Mark, love your content i can see a little bit sharper when i rock and i love it. I have a question when i blink lightly i can see crystal until i blink sometimes. Does this active focus method also improve my eyesight?
I just wanna say thank you because you really make me believe in my recovery. I just began to stop wearing glasses 2.5 months ago. Somehow, my glasses were broken so I could not use glasses any more. Yesterday I went to the optometrist and he said I reduced "0.5 DIOP" in each eye!. Such surprising information. By the way, my ASTIGMATISM INCREASES 0.25 in each eye. I wonder why. But I can sure that wearing glasses harms my vision. Another strange thing is that my eyes get better in the evening, especially when I sit in a dark room with just the light from my TV, I can get flash vision faster and keep it longer. Hope that you share something about my situation! Could you leave a reply?
Congrats on the progress! If you keep at it, you'll continue to see improvement. I noticed that my astigmatism increased when I started learning to improve my vision. It was only brief but then I noticed that my astigmatism changed very often. The angle moved often as I learned to improve my eyesight. All of this is normal because you are re-teaching your eyes how to release tension. As for vision in the evening being better, I also experienced this as well. I believe this is because when you're relaxed while watching TV, etc, it's easiest to release tension. While I don't recommend watching TV in a dark room because it increases tunnel vision unless you're super aware of your peripheral in the dark, I also was able to clear up my vision many times after a long day, just by sitting and breathing.
@@MyopiaIsMental Thank you for your detailed reply. I will study more about tunnel vision. The fun thing is that I spent almost time watching TV, just sometimes I look outside but the result is amazing for me. Maybe it's because I spent most of the time training my eyes. I'm wearing glasses that are lower than 0.5 Diop (compare with my real Diop), but when I took off my glasses, I could not see anything lol ! Anyway, my job requires them so I will try to take off my glasses as much as possible. The relaxation is still complex for me, but I'm trying and yes, I believe someday I will reduce more than 0.5 diop and more! Just wanna say thank you again! :D
I believe they do. We carry too much tension and tension creates hardening. What is presbyopia - A hardening of the lens! Learn to relieve tension and relax and everything will soften!
Hello Mark been watching your videos and it''s given me hope, was wondering if you could do a video on blue light glasses, i wear them all the time, it doesnt do much and can't tell if there really is any point to it, thanks!
I'm going to do a video on this, but for me personally, I noticed a big change when I stopped eating sugar and cut down on carbs. I'm not strictly keto but I just started eating more fresh meats and vegetables that I cook myself. I cut out a lot of processed foods. I like to think about it like this, buy stuff from the perimeter of the grocery store where you get your fresh meats, fruits, eggs, cheese, milk and vegetables and avoid the center isles where you get pastas, cookies, canned foods, etc. When it comes to drinks, I mostly drink black coffee, teas and water. I cut out sugary drinks and juices this included soda/drinks with artificial sweeteners. As for alcohol, I do enjoy a good wine or cocktail on occasion but I know certain ones will affect my vision. Particularly white wines high in sulfates and some bourbons if I drink too much. I'll talk about this much more in detail later.
Hi have high myopia, due to a disability I’m seated most of the time. Will rocking alone be enough to help improve? I’ve followed bates but only got slight improvement
I believe you can go to the floor in order to get more options. On the floor you can move freely without straining your body, because lying down the floor has 0 gravity over your muscles.
Thanks a lot sir. You're very kind. One thing to ask. According to eye books, the electric light reflects on white paper and strains the eyes ( hence candle light). So Acc. to you, how to know of the optimum good lightening for reading or computer work? Secondly how much you washed your eyes And how? Thirdly, how to watch TV or Movie in theatres. Final query 🙈 : Should we wear sunglasses?
I believe all light reflected off of paper can potentially strain eyes. However, what I learned and read from studies is the quality of the light on the thing you're looking at should match the quality of light in the surrounding area. Bright screens or paper lit by only candle light in a dark room really aren't much different to me. I could go at this from so many angles. Artificial lighting isn't as good for our eyes as naturally sunlight but there needs to be balance. We should be spending as much time in natural light as artificial lighting. As for washing eyes, I just wash my face when taking a daily shower. If some water gets in my eyes no big deal but I don't purposely let that happen. Movies and TV the answer is the same as in your first question. I don't wear sunglasses at all because they make my eyes too sensitive to light. Though, you can do what you want.
Hi Mark! What if you did this with undercorrected contacts? I am SO TIRED of living in blur and actually, my sight got worse (I can tell because my stronger/driving glasses are not doing it for me at all). I need to start focusing on doing this and other techniques again but I don't know how much longer I can live in the blur 😞
Contacts and even more so glasses distort the way we see things in the peripheral and I've learned the brain doesn't like it. This is why I highly recommend removing glasses when doing these techniques.
@@MyopiaIsMentalHow often do you recommend doing the techniques for people like me with -4? I’m been going without glasses for a while, few weeks, and doing the techniques as much as possible.I made some improvement, but now I feel like my eyesight had gone back to what it was before I started. I need help 😢
I can't really say if day dreaming is good or bad for eye health. It's natural to daydream from time to time. However, realize that when you daydream often, you may be unaware of what is going on around you. You tend to zone out. My bigger question would be, what makes you daydream often and is there some issue there? Perhaps it's stress, fatigue, or lack of nutrition that causes you to zone out more at times than others?
Hello. Great explanations in your videos! My challenge is presbyopia not myopia. Your therapies seem aimed at myopia and astigmatism. What therapies will improve my presbyopia? Thanks
Hi sir I've been doing triangulation, rocking and noticing perspective/movement for a while now, I've been able to feel stinging and a little watery feeling, after doing it repeatedly I do not get 20/20 vision for a few seconds nor a clear flash or sharpen my eyesight , but I sometimes I do see a little clearer than before but I do not know if it is just because their is water in my eyes . If you could, could you please tell me if it is just normal/happens to you and if not can you give me some advice P.S I love your vids it really gives me determination that one day I will have perfect or even better vision
If you're seeing sharper after doing the techniques then you're on the right path. Keep at it and it will eventually improve over time. The techniques are only the movements needed to help you with relaxation but don't' focus so much on the techniques but rather what you're feeling in your body when you do the techniques. You can to constantly ask yourself do I feel muscles move in my eyes when I do the techniques, do I feel stressed, how can I make myself not feel so since. These things are more important than the techniques themselves! Ultimately, relaxation is the key and being aware of what your muscles are doing while you move.
Hi Mark! Can you please summarize what techniques you used to improve your eyesight? I don’t need a long paragraph of a message but I am just confused because there is a lot of different videos and I am getting mixed up. And also how much screen-time do you recommend?
Thank you so much! But the real problem i am facing is to start(As being-6 in both eyes approx) its hard when i take off the glasses, I immediately look to clear the blur and it makes me more tensed up and I can’t either remove nor wear glasses as my eyes squints a lot. I am so much worried. I would be so much grateful if tou suggest your inputs.
Staring close as much into a white wall. You can spend minutes there until you will start feel all your muscle tension melting and you can easily smile. Do this everyday before bedtime. The trick here is not necessarily see or notice, it is more about feeling good. If you are not feeling good you are going to nowhere.
What about blur adaptation? Just asking because my eyes are around -6.00 and I was watching some endmyopia videos and they said it isn't good it introduce too much blur. I'm curious about your thoughts on blur adaptation or too much blur. I don't think either method is necessarily better than the other, I'm just trying to gather as much information as I can on the topic. Thanks for all your content!
I believe what people call blur adaptation is nothing more than a transitional state. There were times when I had blur but was able to function just fine. If I kept doing my techniques I used all the time, the blur would eventually clear up and I could see perfectly clear. An interesting thing I observed while in the blur states is the blur is never in one state. It can fluctuate, and if there's any astigmatism, the angle of error can change to a different angle within seconds. I believe this is the brain trying to get the eye muscles to stabilize. The more you relax and just let it happen, the faster you can clear up the blur and see perfectly clear. I think the problem that many have with blur adaptation is they just take off their glasses and don't *actively* work on their vision. Sure you can walk around like this all day but your vision will never improve doing this. You have to be aware of not only your surroundings to get the muscles of your eyes to work, but you also have to be aware of the movements of the muscles in your eyes themselves! The more your become aware of how your muscles are moving, the faster change you can see. The same is true for any muscle that you want to improve in the body. Many people think the techniques I teach fix the eyes. They don't! They teach you awareness of your body and that awareness creates relaxation. It's the relaxation that fixes not only they eyes, but it fixes many other things in your body that you may have never been aware of. I'll add one more thing. One of the biggest lessons I've learned over the years is the body is resilient. It is capable of healing itself but you have to listen to what it is telling you. It may have been said that introducing too much blur isn't good but I already knew I could see just fine after getting that first clear flash. After all that should have never been possible. I pushed myself by letting my body do the work and not trying to control everything myself. I became an observer to what my body wanted to do and then just let body handle the rest. I do believe this is why I was able to improve so fast. HTH.
@@MyopiaIsMental Thank you for your detailed response! I've noticed that when I take off my glasses completely and tried to do a combination of active focus and pay attention to movements/objects in my periphery there were a few instances where things cleared up momentarily but I would still see multiple of an object. For example I could read text from further than where I usually would be able to, but there would one stronger line of text that was clear and other ghosted lines of the same text (I'm guessing that was due to my astigmatism). This happened only 1 or 2 times, although admittedly I haven't been very consistent with the habits. Would you recommend decreasing the diopters incrementally on glasses or taking off glasses completely? Also have had any issues with your retina? Asking because a few years ago my optometrist had said I was at increased risk of tear/detachment. So far nothing has happened yet thankfully. Is there anything you do to take care of your retina like diet or supplements or anything? P.S. - I apologize in advance if I'm asking a lot of questions.
Mark, when i ever rock for like 10 sec i notice the object down in my prepherial vision has lines and dots on them and they kinda tend to disappear, is that normal?
I live in the city , I walk down the street without using my glasses. On the street there are cars, buildings and people walking . What should I do to improve my vision? Should I focus on one point on the street and try to notice the movement of cars? Do I focus on near or far things? Do I move looking from one place to another? Or I look down and try to imagine the rest of the scene ? Could you give me practical advice when I'm walking down the street? Thanks
If you're skeptic and have doubts, it's probably not going to work for you or it won't work as fast as you would like. Being skeptic or having doubts creates actions in the body that prevent you from being successful. For example, if you're scared or doubt you're going to do well on a test. The action it creates in your body is that you won't study for it or if you do study you just won't be able to retain the information correctly because you set your mind to believe that you won't do well. This is why I say this vision journey is more mental than actually physical. I'll give you one more question to think about to help you change your mindset to know if this really works or not. *Everything has two sides.* For example, people can gain weight, people can lose weight. What goes up, must come down. For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. If eyesight can get worse, why can't it get better?
Hii Sir. Few urgent quick questions. 1. When tearing and stinging occurs, it naturally feels to shut down eyes asap. So should I or better bear the pain and keep going? 2. I read an eye yoga book which said to reading in candle light improves vision. Is that so, how? Should one try? 3. One eye therapist told me to wear a plus 1 glasses on my myopic eyes (-7) most of the day. Is wearing plus glasses helps or rather have no glasses whole day at all. 4. Your opinion on squinting of eyes. What's your recomm. Thank you thank you😊 💓
1. I talked about this in my old channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-shwFRa35RvE.html&feature=share&EKLEiJECCKjOmKnC5IiRIQ&t=647 in the beginning I blinked less but over time it didn't matter. 2. I personally don't think this is a good idea. It's no different from using your cell phone in a dark room. The lighting on the thing we're reading should match the lighting of the room we're in. This is the most optimal condition in order to keep our eye muscles functioning properly. 3. One thing I've realized is that any stimulus in front of the eye whether plus or minus distorts the way we see. In addition the brain doesn't get use to the perspective if you keep changing it all the time. This is why I learned to use my glasses as little as possible unless I absolutely needed them. This allowed me to re-learn what peripheral perspective should look like without any external influence. 4. Squinting creates more tension and it's not recommended. When you learn to relax properly there will be no need to squint.
Tithing is not required for christians since they are not under the mosaic law. However, tithing is still a valid principle when it comes to giving. Marrkkk!!! I’ve been doing rocking for a while, the tearing and stinging would happen right away, but now when I do rocking, I get the tearing and stinging at random, like an hour later, Is this normal? Also Should I use normalized and differential glasses for this? I believe my eyesight is -3.75 and -4
One can easily over do it by trying to do the rocking technique or any technique for that matter all the time. You can end up making your eyes really sore. This is why I say take it east at first but build up to doing it all the time. It's just like going to the gym to lift weights. You're not going to start of bench pressing 500 lbs. You start off slow and work your way up!
When I do rocking I feel like the text feel more double vision is it normal doing it Please can anyone help And how long does this double vision last when u try to active focus
In the beginning I would suggested just 1 to 3 times per day. If you find you're not getting fatigued by rocking, then increase it. Work up to doing it all the time, subconsciously as you're working.
When everything is clearer, everything is more peaceful too. Subjectively speaking, it seems like there aren't as many separated segments to deal with anymore. It seems that there is a huge segment being carried by feet that are very self-aware of themselves. As if the mind doesn't get tired of having to deal with too much movement. No fatigue, no pain. Strangely, I can remember all the times I saw well, for hours, each time it was the same perception: vision and feet. As if my field of vision is everything, and my joysticks are my feet. My feet, being joysticks, need to feel what they do, honest movements respecting my space. Never virtual moves. Never limiting myself to fit inside something. Always giving full support to the large field of vision. That's my memories from my childhood. When I feel my feet carrying me, I no longer need to think or do calculations about what is to come. Because it's like I'm totally on my feet, in my own shoes. I am here, I can handle everything when I am here in my own space. I'm not wearing anybody else's shoes. I don't see life through anyone else's eyes anymore. "A place for everything, everything in its place" never made so much sense.
Yep! The feet and the eyes are connected and when they are treated separately, this is when problems arise! When I realized this, I started to work on my vision from a whole body approach instead of just trying to fix my eyes!
@@MyopiaIsMental This sounds very interesting to me. I haven't really felt this connection between feet and eyes. When did you feel this? What comes to mind is the blind girl Toph from The Last Airbender series, who can see through picking up vibrations with her feet.
@@wonle22 I felt this connection the first time I got a clear flash when I was rocking side to side in my backyard, while standing. However, I didn't fully understand it until some time later. Our feet provide a lot of sensory information to our brain about our orientation in space. When that sensory information is insufficient, some other body part has to compensate to make up the difference. If this is the case, the eyes have to work and strain harder. I talk a lot more about vision being a whole body problem in my Advanced Journey Guide.
@@MyopiaIsMental Thanks, that's a very interesting theory. I was also thinking the other way around already, that opening the peripheral vision gives more sense of where you are in space. So where your feet are actually standing, but I didn't connect the two yet. Very insightful
Question so when I do 'rocking' (i.e. slightly moving and noticing how objects move in relation to each other on diffrent planes), do I FOCUS on one specific object? Presumably in the distance?
I have -1.5 in my left and -1.25 in my right, but when I blink hardly at a license plate in a sunny day I can get my eyes to see perfectly. However, I could do this before I came across this channel and started to learn the habits, do you think these are still progressive clear flashes? Because it feels way to perfect and consistent for a contact lens affect. Am I just straining my eyes doing this?
Hello. how do you deal with astigmatism which is more dominant in one eye? I don't have a lot of blur, but significant double vision. when I put glasses on, the whole visual plane seems to come much closer and larger. Have been at this for one day, and sometimes seems to have a few clear moments, even double vision seemed to get a little better temporarily and briefly.
I had lasik eye surgery on my left eye in 1996 but never got the right eye done. Now I'm far sighted in my left eye, and it's almost impossible to read when I close my right eye. I wish I'd never got it done. I've heard lasik can wear off. The rocking seems to be helping me more with my far vision, I can see very well when I'm driving in the daytime, but my left eye is not improving. Is there any way to improve this? If both eyes were like my right eye, my vision would be great.
Both are correct! When you're seeing a little more clear, you're starting to release tension but not quite fully release yet. When it fully releases, the stinging and tearing can be really intense. Getting to a perfectly clear flash can take time, but any changes in your vision is an improvement!
Hai Mark.. I don't have 6/6 vision even with wearing glasses..I can't see the last line clearly even with glasses.. Do you think it is possible for me to get it clear?
Question: I have 20/10 vision, as defined by my physician. However, recently I discovered that reading labels and certain print while indoors, I need cheaters to read. Are you saying these exercises will cure this?
