Should I replace my cord if I have to fight to get it recognised by windows???? And i think it degrades my tone (whatever tone i use) so low its like playing with a guitar i salvaged from the trash. (Oh and sometimes it misses notes and chords even tho im clearly hitting them)
One thing I've always asked myself while watching your videos, have you ever had a really frustrating fail like missing the last note of a song or something like that?
Wow, of all the songs you have played, this is probably one of the hardest looking ones I've seen you play. How hard was it for you compared to the other songs?
The bridge riff looks really hard because of all the position changes, but it's not too bad once you understand the pattern and timing. This song would probably be in the top 10-15 hardest songs I've done.
halsb Completely agree with you there, my eyes could hardly even follow along, much less my fingers. That song is just too fast for people who are not guitar legends like you. :)
hey, I'm gonna get my first electric soon, and i can't decide which to get. and since you look like you're well versed in guitars, I was wondering if you could help me pick. should I get the Dave Mustaine Zero X dean (all black) or the Dimebag CFH ML dean (lightning)?
Definitely don't get a Floyd Rose for your first guitar. Also, I've heard that Dean guitars are only good on the high end models - unless you are intent on that Dean V body/headstock, you'd probably be better off with an ESP LTD/Schecter.
Call me crazy but get a Telecaster. Specifically a Squier John 5 Tele or Squier Jim Root Tele. Ignore the "Squier" brand. These are top notch guitars, especially in their $400 price range. Overtime, add a few upgrades like locking tuners and a new bridge pickup and you're set. This is coming from a guy that owns a few high end guitars. My Tele is the workhorse of the group.
