may i please have whatever you are taking.you sound so positive!.I'm guessing MDMA, but maybe you have been smoking weed. either way, nice one. have a nice day =)
Never belittle yourself friend, With a lot of hard work and keep continuing to set new goals is the only way to improve. As soon as you limit yourself is the time you'll never get any better
Dude you got skills awesome song,I'm really tempted to get this game as I would like to give learning to play the guitar another go will this game really help or is it a gimmick.
Is there like a 'Solo mode' or something like that?? Can you change the settings so you can do you own solos or do you have to follow the notes in the game??
It seems that you hit a few chords way earlier then they hit the expected line ( some lonely cords which are in this song). Why is that? I am also wondering how do you get low latency. Since game takes reasonable time to process the signal its hardly sounds that good when compared to what you would expect from guitar.
hdmat101 You choose in the option menu if you want them "normal" or "upside down". Different people, different preferences. Dont let this disencourage you from buying the game if you're interested :)
+hdmat101 It's because when you look at the screen the numbers go from one to whatever number from the left but you're seeing him from the front but if you were seeing him from behind it would work properly
I was gonna buy it but then I saw that it doesnt come with the the tone cable what does that mean?? Is that I gotta buy an separate cable or something or it doesnt need it??
Most likely the guy already knew how to play guitar before the game however i can confirm Rocksmith really does help improve guitar skill performance as am proof. Within a month of hard practice am able to do 6 songs all at 80% atleast (Lead and rhythm) and thats only the beginning
mark j mcneil my 2 cent, don't know if you can realy learn to play the guitar in the right way with rocksmith, but sure for guy like me, who work or study and dont have so mutch time for practices is a wonderful tool that make you do a lot of practice without stress, turn it on, connect the guitar and enjoy...
Gabriele De Carli With Rocksmith you can learn to play songs on the guitar and the techniques, but you dont learn the notes or the things you learn by studying guitar.
PedroAlbina well of course a proper teacher is always the best thing, so yes i agree but if you have a very little knowledge about guitar and music (notes, basic chord, the neck) and time to time you check what you find in rocksmith on internet (or with your teacher) you can improve a lot, for example one things that i find rather hard for a newbie on rocksmith is to figure out the correct position of the left hand in presence of some solo, well in this case on youtube you can find for sure someone that can show you the proper way to positioning your hand. So rocksmith is a game, if you look at it like a learning tool you have to work a by yourself for going deeply in the matter. Like i sead in the comment above, it will apply better for a certain kind of people, the ones that for a reason or another cant afford a standard learning path (or want only have fun :D ), sure it can help to do practice... with a smile... :D
Gabriele De Carli Rocksmith is fun and, by and large, does what it does well, and most importantly makes the initial drudgery of learning guitar (or bass, for that matter) fun by actually having an engaging context, rather than just playing a small set of notes on one string or something. It won’t teach you everything (sweep-picking, for instance, is not covered by the on-disc lessons in the game; even though you do get chord names, you do not necessarily learn the names of the individual notes that you are playing; and I have noticed that some chords have been named with the incorrect enharmonic spelling), but it can certainly help keep a person interested that might have otherwise given up the ghost very quickly. I would also add that, if you cannot seem to get past, say, 90% in a particular song’s arrangement, do not fret (no pun intended), because the game does not always pick up notes and chords that you have played even when you have clearly played them correctly and on time, so the likelihood is that a human that might have been listening to you play would not have been so picky (or even have been able to pick up a tiny flaw that is barely discernible to the human ear).
