Awesome vid, really well explained. I am a home video vlogger, nothing too fancy and currently have a Tascam DR10. My issue with that is the setting up - fiddle with the long wire, turn it on then start recording - not very quick in my experience. How is the audio quality when using the GO 2 as a standalone? I read somewhere that (weirdly) the audio is slightly worse than if you were using a receiver, is that true? Unfortunately the gimbal I have doesnt make it easy for me to hook in the receiver with the Go 2, so if I had to use as a standalone, would that be pretty sufficient keeping in mind I just do home videos/vlogs for myself?
Rode pro is worthless for anything other than ambient audio. Realistically to do a wedding right you need a minimum of two lapel mics (like these or the tascam dr10l) and one recorder for the amplified audio system. Check the kit in our description you can see a lot of gear we recommend
