Yea but this is fake they were acting mad at eachother and fighting on the court to promote their WWE fight. So that seems pretty sketchy right..? In the finals too..? And the NBA knew..? Maybe the finals were rigged too and im a bulls fan im just speaking truth
90s, in every respect was the best decade ever....period. the" fight to the death" matches these two teams had a long with these two legends. Rodman is the best rebounder of all time...the best I've ever seen and I'm 43
And the late 80's for us in DETROIT....... the "BAD BOYS" I'd put up against ANY OTHER TEAM EVER video game style 88-89 pistons against ANY TEAM I got pistons for the series win
I remember watching these series live, and you could see Malone was beat well before the clock hit zeroes. Rodman was on his ass and in his head and there wasn't anything he could do about it.
@@noam8314 You act like this is wrong yet when everyone starts intentionally fouling eachother to stop and stall out the game towards the end it's all good and some sort of accepted strategy. Frankly it's no different. He is playing against him. His whole purpose is to make them lose. It's not sabotage; it's competition. Get a grip buddy.
In the 70s Rodman would get massacred by the Big Mans if he ever tried to do that. the next generation before Rodmans Era called there Era Soft. And now there Era is calling LBJs Era soft. Probably LBJs era will also called the next era soft. The trend always goes like that.
This is why this era of ball was easily the best era to watch. No clowns just bricking 3pt shots all game long. They killed each other to win, but at the end of the day there was respect for how they all played hard against each other.
Equal level defenders, draymond brings more to offense, rodman out rebounds him into the ground. I'm taking rodman for career, draymond for prime since he could shoot.
That last clip of rodman n malone kept knocking each other was legendary. I loved how rodman saw malone getting up, he moved so quick to pretend hes getting up with the sole goal of blocking malone lol
I remeber watching that game, it was one of the funniest moments ive ever seen in NBA. Was lucky to be able to enjoy late 80;s and 90s basketball. Nothing compares.
Rodman was the GENIUS of getting into your head. This is a classic one of them! He already new that the mailman, Malone was dope. So he came from another angle, take them off his game and it worked.
He counted the rotation of the ball of every shooter, he knew exactly the scientific elements of reminding and where the ball was going just by the rotation and shot angle of the shooter. His antics were the icing on the cake.
💯 There is no competition...players jump ship to another team instead of building where they are. AAU mentality. I miss this level of physical play with 5 positions.
That was always fun to watch! Saw Dennis playing slots at Caesar’s. I Yelled “Karl Loves You, Bro’.. He gave a big Smile with hand on Heart ❤️ !! Great memory….
Remember how he did Shaq in the playoffs with Orlando and Frank Brickowski with Seattle in the finals too. He got him so bad that Shaq even still says Dennis was the worst teammate he’s ever had when they were in L.A. together.
I'm just grateful I was able to grow up watching this era of basketball. No matter how athletic players are now a days, it's just not the same. Used to love Sunday because of the double header sometimes tripple header games.
Two incredible basketball players, Malone gave Rodman everything he could handle. And Rodman just stayed right there competing every moment. Amazing series, both of them.
Hay un documental en donde sus compañeros hablan de lo enfocado que era en sus entrenamientos, muy observador en la forma de tirar a canasta de sus compañeros y rivales para determinar hacia donde revisaría el balón
