RFK doesn't say "Don't vax kids" he says we need better testing for all these new vaxes. I.e. before the 1990s they had a rigorous testing procedure for vaxes but they changed the law making it a lot easier to approve them and now we too many that aren't well tested.
Yea, but the more I know about big pharma the less I want children to have anything except maybe the tetanus shot. At least let the little tyke be big enough to understand what's going on, and stop these censorious bastards from funding unethical studies and then trying to claim only that is 'the science'
Re your ".... many that aren't well tested." "Well tested"? "Well tested"?? "Well tested"??? Heck, no! We just gift-voucher them an "EMERGENCY USE ONLY with ZERO LIABILITY" authorization! Best fun is, I can understand "emergency use" as a one-off for the very first tranche of vax deployed. But the same carries on *automatically* for the following 2 years??!!! How's that "emergency use"? More seriously, why did they just shut down all voices of opposition? Not just the John Does but well-reputed men of medicine and science. Those voices were not just shut down but they were vilified and villainized (professional assassination) as well. That's not done in science, especially medical science. Especially striking was the glee with which most every respected institution bent the knee to Fauci and Tedros. Shameful! Anti-human. Remember how that Brazilian guy (Bolsonaro??) was vilified for going against the corvir current? Remember how the entire global medical community jumped on Dr. Anders (of Sweden) who took an opposing view? What a disgrace! No, "they" have a lot to answer for. "They" do have innocent blood on their hands. HC-JAIPUR (31/10/2024) .
While Biden's immigration policy is bad, I don't understand why someone who tried to overturn the 2020 election is not worse. To so many people, the idea of peaceful transfer of power is no important anymore. How disappointing!
VP I like your jacket. It will never be OK that toddlers were masked and people died alone and doctors didn’t speak out. I did plenty of complaining but I am a pathologist. However I treated AIDS patients in the 1980s and never ONCE feared for my life. Because when I took the Hippocratic Oath I meant I would put the lives of others before my own.
I'll listen to nearly all opinions. I'll never find any errors in my own opinions if I don't. There are However, a couple of people I will never listen to. Neil degrasse tyson and Anthony Fauci are on that list.
I am a successful women and I am who I am. That has always earned me respect. I have been successful even though I am average looking and obese. I am respected for who I am. As a women Kamala does not reflect my values.
I've liked Vinay for a couple of years. I'm one of those who hasn't liked Z Dogg for his behavior and stances during COVID. But this particular show has me warming up to him. Between Angela Dilulu and his psychedelic journeys and health approach to statins and such. But both of you are still strongly in the medical model. But I appreciate your openness. There is much more to discover. And I know this is antidote only...... But I haven't been sick with COVID or anything else for the last 4 years, when I started taking vitamin D and C daily. Strong supporter of Kennedy and Callie and Casey Means. This liberal is following them and other good people to Trump this time. And i'm a liberal hippie sort. Voted for Jill Stein last time.
I liked his input during covid. It was very revealing of the type of reasoning behind certain medical stances at the time that were very common. It gave me a more well rounded perspective of what's going on, and a more complete basis for my own opinions.
How about the benefit of simply being in charge of your own health? So, if a patient asks for Ivermectin, give the friggin' Ivermectin. Placebo effect is valid, especially for a drug that is considered quite safe.
"As a rich white dude" so sick of these boring comments. Surely we can use our intelligence for a better response. I am not voting for either so I don't care but being blind to black privileged men (obama) is hippocracy. Anyway...
I wish these guys would discuss the Ivermectin Hydroxie issue with Kennedy or Kory or Merrick rather than just attacking them. Frustrating. Vinay and Z may be right, but let’s have an honest exploration of the issue and let folks draw their own conclusions.
I absolutely agree with you. They continue to say Ivermectin doesn’t work. Tell that to the thousands of doctors who have used it in their Covid treatment protocols and have had almost 100% survival rates. Some doctors lost their jobs for having this success. How many Covid patients did these two treat? Zero! While working with Covid patients in ICU Dr Marik had a much greater survival rate than his colleagues. The hospital said he could no longer use his treatments. He watched patients die because he was not allowed to treat them properly. That is why he had to leave that job. No wonder people don’t and shouldn’t trust most doctors.
I’m a Democrat not ashamed to be voting for Trump. I previously voted for Harris in California and regretted it because of the horrible things she did without shame. She hasn’t said anything of substance since becoming the nominee. No thanks, I’ve seen first hand how dishonest and soulless she is. At least I know what I’m getting with Trump and we need a change. I can’t believe reproductive freedom ranks higher on a priority list than wars and the economy. Democrats party leadership has lost their minds. I’m not progressive enough for the current Democrat party. I am also not on board with what they are ok doing to kids.
Calling doctors and individuals like myself for believing in Ivermectin is unconscionable. We have had excellent success in treating ourselves and others with integrative protocols which included Ivermectin. Also, Ivermectin had helped many people who are injured by the vaccines. Have a real debate with doctors who are successfully utilizing Ivermectin.
@27:00 There are ALWAYS three qualities of a successful YT/social media channels. 1) Entertaining 2) Informative and 3) Genuine. People can spot a phony a mile away. And at the end of the day, it has to be entertaining. But people stay because they learn something every time they watch a show. And @44:00 Pro tip. I take my hearing protection ear plugs (wood working) when I know I have to spend a night in the hospital. You can actually get some sleep even through all the ding/bing trills and whatnot.
Vinay, I have heard you comment derogatorily on supplements a few times before ( I don't mean as it pertains to covid, or for those who take supplements temporarily once they are already sick). A few years ago, my doctor did some blood tests on me (never mind the reasons for the tests for now) and the tests indicated that I was low in vitamin D, zinc and magnesium. I started taking all 3 of those supplements and my levels went up for all 3. Are you saying that even though my levels went up, there is no evidence that it makes any difference to my health? If there is currently insufficient evidence of supplements making any difference to our health, does that mean it isn't helping us be healthier? Are more studies needed or is there enough studies now to prove that all supplementation is useless despite blood tests showing a rise in deficient levels of whatever supplement a person is taking? Please clarify so that many of us are more informed and perhaps we can stop wasting our money. Finally, what do you recommend as alternatives for those of us who tested low on something and are told by a doctor to (or just decide for ourselves to) take supplements? I apologize for being so long winded and I hope my questions are clear. Thank you very much for all the great content! Respectfully, Rick B. (Edited & Re-posted)
Vinay is incorrect about supplements. Many people are low in certain vitamins and minerals, especially if they are on pharmaceutical drugs. Vinay recommends drugs but not supplements. Bad advice,
I love this intellectual entertaining show. Vinay is my Pandemic hero along with Jay Bhattacharya. ZDogg gets love but you guys don't need so many F bombs. I had to turn it off which made my mom miss the education.
The fbombs are a manifestation of the frustration they (and most physicians) felt during COVID when they couldn't take care of their patients. To be told to shut up and sit down as they watched their patients suffer is the ultimate torture for good doctors, they are being deeply honest.
I wasn't planning on listening but here i am. That was really fun! I still have no idea who the not Vinay guy is but who cares. Great banter and conversation. Who needs friends when you have podcasts? 😆
Reminds me of my time at uni when I had a couple of friends who studied medicine. The medicine crowd were the most hilarious bunch Ive ever met in my life.
Either of you guys ever see the 1971 Movie “The Hospital” with George C. Scott and Diana Rigg (British Actress who first received public interests in the British series “The Avengers”)? Old movie ….. dark humor …. but still feels close to reality.
Sit in a room of doctors and they all have a different opinion on everything from how to measure something, how to treat it but not agreeing on what "it" is. I enjoy Dr. Vinay Prasad's knowledge and opinions. He's a great researcher. I don't think doctors that practice cookbook medicine based almost entirely on studies and protocols make good practitioners. Always get a second or even third opinion. Good docs are hard to find. I can see why the other guy doesn't practice medicine anymore.
Paxlovid! Brought to you by the same people who made the vax that doesn’t prevent you from getting the disease you now need Paxlovid for!!! Crazy I know.
Seems like they recommend rest and hydration. Most people need much more support than that. As a certified herbalist I almost always use natural remedies and supplements, however, since I learned about Ivermectin I have been using it prophylactically and for treatment with excellent results.
I have a residency interview the day after the election 😅. I'm just hoping whoever my interviewers want to win, wins so they will be in a good mood and associate it with me lol.
I’ve figured out Trump, Rogan, Lex, the All In Podcast and both of you, all of you have something in common …. “You are comfortable in your own skin”. It’s not a show, my bet is you are just the same off the set.
These guys are still not over how ivermectin has helped people .... ??.... Kinda weird. And then to not have compassion for folks dealing with 'long covid'... ??.. or ~whatever the label their symptoms are given ... really disappointing.
Superb analysis of Elena Ferrante novels and authorship. I had to sit through 90 minutes of y'all's banter on, among other things, penis size to get this gem (seriously, it was all good). Looking forward to your views on Moby Dick - to your point on privilege: "Better sleep with a sober cannibal than a drunken Christian"-- enjoy the novel.
Im not for any party but the reasoning that “Trump is who he is”,… just makes no sense to me. There have been plenty of bad and horrible egotistical people throughout history who were who they were. It isn’t a reason to vote for them or even give them kudos.
The presentation of the book series was really great at the end-so sincere annd engaging- otherwise the discussion was obnoxious… the bro talk is for teenagers. What a waste of your time and obvious innovative brilliant minds to talk like prepubescent boys. Ugh.
Damn, I've never heard Vinay sound totally clueless, incompetent, and out of his depth as when he talked about polls XD Actually the whole convo was a little below the standard that I'd expect. Still entertaining though
I don’t agree that Trump has always been this way…..I feel like he has even less ability to finish a sentence than even 8 years ago. Also, I think that back before he started running for office, he had access to a more grownup vocabulary. Just my feeling.
