LOL , he didn’t score single win on slam against Djokovic in almost 9 years and lost all 3 Wimbledon finals they played. Yes Fed is a legend not only in tennis but in sport in general. But Djokovic and Nadal are better tennis players. They learned a lot from Fed, he made them better player. They adopt, developed and become better players than Roger
@@juancarlosjuancarlos4629 yet had a better h2h vs Djokovic for a decade. After that he literally had to play him during his most dominant years on tour (2011-16) and yet still beat him regularly. Djokovic could never even compete against Fed pre 2006. You have to take that into account.
@@vaishnamahendran718 beat him regularly from 2011-2015 🤣🤣 he won 1 Gs match against Djokovic in that period. Fed was goat in 2008 he dominated in weak era from 2003-2007. but even than Rafa and Nole as teenagers were winning sometimes against Fed
@@vaishnamahendran718 hahahahah he dominated h2h while they were teens, Rafa beat him in 2008 (Rafa 22 at the time and Roger 27 at his prime) and that ended Roger’s reign. Roger is an all time icon, but truth be told Rafa and Novak are next-level play.
I watched Roger Federer many times on Television and he is regarded as one of the true legends in Tennis and in the World of Sport. He is the only to have won Eight Wimbledon titles in the opening era. Last year, I thought Novak Djokovic would equal Federer eight titles and until Carlos Alcaraz stopped him in memorable five sets. Federer is the first man to win 20 slams before end of 2010s until along came Nadal and Djokovic took over by the start of 2020s. He is not only the best sportsperson ever, but human and humble guy. During his prime, he has passion, desire and the wealth. He is one of the fitness players in the Men's tennis tour and he work smartly without rushing it. He nearly had over 1500 matches during his turn professional 1998. Federer I hope enjoying your retirement and it is nearly two years. I hope everything is okay with your family and friends.
Djokovic has been doping for years in the final or when he plays against strong players. This time he didn't think it was necessary or he thought that the doping controls at the Olympics would be stricter. That's why he lost.
Djokovic has it much easier now with no competitors. Rafa and Roger are ageing, and the rest are shit. Djokovic dissapointed so much at the Olympics, his beahviour was even more disgusting than his performance.
Think how many more Rog would've had if Nadal hadn't stopped him... ;o) Rafa's downfall were his injuries. This docu could've very well been about him otherwise...
Think the other way around! Or think how great they are while playing in the same era. And with Djokovic... This is the best tennis era ever! Three of the best tennis players of all time playing in the same era! P: or think how many GS would've won Murray if none of the three above ever existed...
The fact that Roger was a ball boy speaks to the person he has become. Humble and gracious, kind and thoughtful. Remembering where you came from will do that to a man.
Roger humble?? Are you kidding me? Maybe Rafa is but Roger is the most obnoxious player ever. You can see the way he walks, the way he speaks about his game even when he loses: I played amazingly, I had a great serve...
@@ha-qg2ug if you lose you should say I lost and next time I'll try harder. Don't say I played wonderfully. Or you can't progress. And indeed he got stuck with his faulty backhand. (Besides AO 2017)
@@ha-qg2ug this is correct that he progressed in 2017. No doubt about that. But then he went back downhill. His backhand became so faulty. Even if he reached wimbledon 2019 finals which he lost. Everyone knows his backhand sucks and Nadal was able to make a fortune out of it. Also it's really rare when he says "I played poorly and I deserved to lose " most of the time he sounds more like "I was feeling confident on court and I think I played really well. "
Yeah, good thought. I really do feel though, that his last chance was at the final in 2019. If he'd of won that match, for me, that would surely have been his most fitting moment to announce his retirement right there. The perfect ending was not to be.
Not really. When it comes to completeness no one comes to close Novak. Federer lacks a key feature for completeness, i.e Mental Strength when compared to Novak and Rafa.
@@ishaangupta4125 completely agree. Most complete ? Djokovic. Roger falls apart under pressure. Let's look at Wimbledon final in 2019 and the other two he lost against Djokovic. People like Federer because he is great and embodies the nowadays man. He never gets angry, does whatever his whimsical wife says (which nobody can stand, she is a awful human being). That being said, he is a fantastic tennis player.
Roger is a true legend and until recently the best player ever but Novak has taken over as the greatest of all time, the guy is a living machine. The reality is that tennis fans are all just privileged to see these 3 legends, including Rafa. It may take another 30 years to see anything like this, let’s enjoy watching them while they can still play.
Are Nadal, Djokovic, and Murray also losers? Because 5 of those majors came against them in finals from 2006 to 2010. Seems weird that you didn't know that.
@@damjanradenovic92 Lol where did u get the expression I was talking to u dumass I was talking to the person who said Federer was the greatest athlete of all time
@@miloskokot661 They are not worthless lolol. Winning those tournaments consistently, while also winning grand slams and Masters are why he was number 1 so long. What kind of comment is this?
Respect for Rafa, Roger and Novak. All are such great players and feelings so blessed to witness these legends. It's foolish to compare them or argue who's best.
I hope he can win another couple titles. It was nice to see his trek as a player. Unfortunately, he is past his peak and slowed by injuries and age. But, he still has more to give. I'm a old guy and I cheer for Fed as a old guy in tennis.
I think technically djokovic is always more affective than Federer or nadal .but definitely Federer looks most elegant .but djokovic some times looks from another plannet
@@Olly_2024_ if you talk about big titles .than grand slams .and atp world tour finals are most titles .Federer won 20 slams .and 6 atp world tour finals .nadal has 20 grand slams .and 0 atp world tour finals .djokovic has 17 slams .and 5 atp world tour finals .so technically Federer has 26 nadal has 20 and djokovic has 22 big titles till now .djokovic has at least 4 or 5 years of high level tennies in him he is currently 32 .till 37 he can easily played at the top level .he is damm fit guy .Federer is almost done .maximum 1 slam nadal will win may be 2 more French open titles .on other surfaces he hasn't bright chance to overcome other top guns .djokovic will be one of the top favorites in other three surfaces except french open
It isn't only about his unbelievable talent. The merit goes also to CH people and authorities. The fact that a small country like Switzerland is able to produce champions like Federer and Wawrinka says many things ...
I came to this video just to tell you to change the title because the percentage is very funny in 2021 😂😂😂 and i have some one Word for FedEx Fan 40-15 😂
@@rohansandheep2661 actually 37 and 10 months lol, i dont think on that 40-15 but 40-15 in the semis of US Open 2011 and 2010 when all crowd are for Federer and Novak plays monster return and gentlman Federer after match said that is only luck.
@@dimitrijestevanovic9964 I mean if ur talking abt disrespect wb djokovic smashing the olympic symbol 😂😂 and throwing the racket to the crowd with rage , and quit ok his teammate in the Olympics.. in bronze medal match ? Hmmmm ye sure
Well he is now. Its CRAZY. After Federer passed Sampras in 2009. With his 15th slam at Wimbledon and then got to 17. I thought he would never be caught. And now look at it. All 3 are at 20. With Djokovic having the best overall record. What a time we are in.
@@user-mn3vk2dw4e yes i agree hater. i don't hate successful people. what nole's doing nobody can do. and what roger does in the 2000's nobody can do. they're both in very very high level. i prefer roger's playing style but i respect nole very very much he's the wolf of tennis.
Can you read the future? How do you know that in the following 16.000 years no one will surpass Federer? People also thought Sampras was the best ever when he was retired and now nobody thinks that.
True for now djokovic is the best..federer was always second best may be even when nadal wasn't around..but he is infectious to the eye..I wl choose him over anyone ..there cannot be any denying that fed is the most elegant player..along eith edberg
@@Phurngirathaana but djokovic has at least 4 or 5 years top level tennis in him. He is 32 now .till 37 he can won many slams on his journey ahead . In atp world tour finals djokovic has 5 and Federer has6 .djokovic is 11-6 ahead in grand slams .and beat 3 times in his kingdom Wimbledon in the final. Djokovic has take tennis to another level .although Federer is most elegant .but djokovic is most affective
Novak djoker is the true weakest era emperor of all times from 2013 to 2030. No competition at all only claydal & ageing federer. Federer is 7 years older than djoker & claydal. He is ofcdofferentcera. If all 3 of same age then federer will be having now 35+grand slams, claydal 9-10 only french opens & the ordinary djoker by luck around 7-8 grandslams by year 2020. Federer the best much much ahead of any other player & second best always will be pete sampras
He is my greatest role model, in many ways, from his tennis obviously, but also regarding his behaviour. I feel like I am the same type of positive open-minded character
To fedfans, what twisted logic gave you the right, while the cards are still on the table, to elect Federer as the GOAT? Now look how History is making a fool out of y'all and restoring itself: your so called GOAT's records are being broken one by one. Serves you right is all I can say.
Novak Djokovic - Joker - is GOAT because he won 20 Grand Slams in years when Roger and Nadal were on their pick . He made himself place between this two giants in 10' and now nobody cant stop him to won few more because Federer is 40 years old and Nadal only can do something on Roland Garros .
Definitely. At 20 apiece, Roger being behind on masters, H2H, weeks at number 1, years at being number 1 at the end of the year, highest number of points claimed in a calendar year, you can see where he stands against Novak. He has one year ending masters more then Novak and roughly 20 tournaments more than Novak and Rafa. Being 5 years older, both are in jeopardy. When all three retire, Roger will probably hold zero significant tennis records.
@@copperchair72 on the contrary, it is exactly the other way round. Now Novak is tied in Slams, he is statistically GOAT right now. He holds the most important records/achievements. And it’s highly likely he will keep winning trophies, bringing more misery to fans of other players. Nadal could be a threat, that has to be said.
Never. His magic and dominance across generations is unmatched. Federer was way too old at that time. You have an acutely narrow understanding of sport in general and tennis specifically.
