Every once in a while I come back to this when Roland releases an update for my Fantom 07. One thing I do is I recommend that everyone do a backup ahead of time, and then a Factory Reset after it's done to clear out any cobwebs from the update. Then, load your Backup file back in. :)

Now I need to know how to stop the notes from being stuck when I’m playing. If I’m just playing bass lines or chords they get stuck and hungover now. Do you have any advice that could help me with this?🙏🏽😇🎼

True...it doesnt have a real sampler...its a big fail as a Workstation...NO real sequencer....Doesnt even have AUDIO TRACKS....it has gone backwards since the Fantom X and G....and $6500.00 for a 7

@@justaname1862 Feels more like an updated FA than a Fantom in my opinion. They put plenty of power in there though so they could continue to upgrade, we'll see.

Hi & thanks for your tutorial that was helpful. I have a query it would be great if you could help me out with the following issues, Firstly I tried the setting in Fantom : System : USB Audio to - "Mix "(where the tone gets recorded from fantom to Logic with effects,) then I tried the setting Fantom : System : USB Audio to - "Parallel "(where the tone gets recorded in Logic BUT WITHOUT EFFECTS such as IFX1 /IFX2 / CHO / REV). How to record with effects in Parallel Mode.? Please assist..

My fantom 06 update board 2 is not working. Board 1st show that it's end but 2nd board saying that 'Insert Memory to external (board 2). How can I solve it?

Download folder, extract it, then open folder and drag the 3 files into root directory of USB. I dragged the whole extracted folder and it set me back 20 mins.

Johnson Financial Same thing happened to me. My Fantom is bricked now. I wrote to Roland but they only suggest me to repeat the update without any other clue . I have used different USB keys without success. Maybe it’s time to send mine back to the shop. Hope you will resolve.

I'm not sure, I haven't ran into any issues, I'd try it again and/or contact Roland to see what they say. What was the error message?

What about the Fantom 6? Mine 6 is brick, and I can't get it to boot. Its power's on, but it won't boot. Been like this for about a year. Any help would be fantastic.

my fantom still has 1.04 system do i have to update all updates or just the latest 1.60 thanks ?

You should be able to just do the most recent one. Have to check the notes on the updates.
