We are continuing Roland JD synth legacy with the second bank for Roland Boutique JD-08.
“Vintage Soul” soundset is a true masterpiece and possibly the most complete atmospheric bank
for Roland JD synthesizer out there.
And its avaliable in any for of JD synths: JD-990, JD-800, Roland Cloud JD-800, JD-08.
By Nick Klimenko aka Chronos, a creator of “Organica” for Waldorf Blofeld & “WS Universe” for Korg Wavestation.
After successful Roland Boutique JD-08 “Symbiosis” soundset we started to cooperate with
Saga Musix to improve thier Conversion tool!
Yes, now we can convert sounds of Boutique JD-08 presets to Cloud, ZenCore versions as well as real JD800 & even 990!

Dont have that noise issue when plugged into an Aira MX1 ...hope Roland is bringing an Aira MX1 2.0 with more Boutique plugs...Great Sounds will get them asap...cheers

sounds great. USB noise however, doesn't. I really wish roland would just let us power these boutiques with an actual plug.

I don’t have the noise with mine. Only when I plug the USB into the computer. So I don’t, I plug them into a power strip

Also I read that a USB-C Power/Data splitter will fix the issue. I got one for my Beatstep Pro but it’s not USB-C. It shipped with it because Arturia cares. Roland I’m not so sure. It makes sense to split the two to have a clean audio/data stream to the computer, and a strait power line to a power outlet. Hope this helps some one. I’ll pick one up and try it soon.

@@happylittlesynth right on. I definitely need to get the splitters because I wanna stream audio to my computer with both my JX&JD-08. I’m in no rush because I need a new computer first. In addition to these two, I wanna also set up my SP404 MKii, TR-6S and my new TR-8s that’s arriving in tomorrow. I’m not sure if the SP404 has that stupid ground noise issue, but my TR-6s doesn’t. Either way I wanna get them all streaming into the DAW so I can record midi too. I got a lot of other gear that needs to be able to record midi so I can edit tracks. Ive just been jamming for about a couple years and only recorded a few things. Recording midi and streaming will be a game changer. In due time.

Very nice! I may pick up a batch (or two)! Btw, what are you using for a controller/keyboard? I bought the mini-keys for the JD-08 and not only is it frustrating, but it doesn’t do the unit justice. I have a Yamaha YC-88 that I guess I could use, but wanted something a bit smaller.

@@LFOstore A bit more than I wanted to spend, but it does look like a solid machine! It even has a convenient, blank area for the JD to sit on. 😉 Anyway, stayed tuned for a purchase download. Are you combining any sounds from the Waldorf into the JD or are they solely from the JD?

I've already bought the first set, will this fit on there at the same time or do they both only load into the last section one at a time? I saw the double pack, so I wasn't sure how that worked.

Hi, you guys. Despite I've read the instructions about installation, I'm not sure about the process yet. You say that we need to do a backup before the installation, but... new soundset install begins on the bank C right? What's the problem then? What happens to factory presets? (Or even our own presets, if ti's the case). Thanks ❤

I like how these sound like proper synth pads. All the standards presets have way too much going on, really bright bits that need filtering, weird echoey envelope stuff adding all this extra texture. It's nice to know this synth can be used to make normal synth tones. Shame about the whine. I'm thinking of buying one but I'll have to buy a new one so I can return it if it has that much whine.

Hi there. i bought this, but i cant get it working. i save the original set, transfer the new one to the unit. and all the presets are same as A11. tried 5 times already. any pointers?
