You reeally tried in d breakdown. I'm a support worker, working in a mental support home. Though ours role is far different from those of care. We don't care outrightly, we support. Most of our clients do things for themselves, even cooking, laundry, plate washing etc. Only few need support for cooking. We mostly help in financial management and remind them of their appointments, then general house keeping. It's a nice profession, my ever dream job. I'm fulfilled.

My Mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer few years ago, and we have been on this journey. Her Nurse was on a week leave and she was at my house, hmmm,it was not easy,changing her diaper, and when she is purging you can change her diaper thrice within an hour, feeding nko,my mum will start drama,because she doesn't want to eat,taking care of Adults and vulnerable people is not an easy job,you must have passion for people. Please if you don't have passion to help others, if you see people vomiting and you can't help, please don't go for the job
My dear, especially that area of not wanting to eat, you'll have to coax them, sing ,beg and so on and so forth. The changing of diapers nko, that one na ebenebe🤣, I had to help my bestie take care of her mom who was a Dimentia patient, e no easy o. She eventually went home to be with the Lord

This is deep . Cooking, shopping, cleaning the house, medication, toilet cleansing, bathing etc. On 10 pounds per hour! Maybe that's why the citizens refused to do it and dey r now looking for foreigners. It's much o. My God.
Well, I have always known that domicilary care involves moving around so I don't apply for such but mental health can be cool since you may not have do personal care. Well done and keep it up.

Hi Anita Can there be a case where the company will give you a financial loan covering the visa fees, flight cost, assigning of CoS and later deduct from your wages but you have to provide your own proof of funds for your upkeep during your stay in the Uk during your visa application (which the company is not providing)
It depends on agreement. I have heard such though I haven’t experienced this. But I think it should be communicated to you and if you agree of course it will be binding. The thing is a company can issue or assign a CoS to you but it’s not their duty to pay or cover other expenses for you. However some companies does. Also when a company covers all of these expenses for you, bear it in mind that leaving that company might be a problem as you might be charged to pay up the costs incurred in the process of recruitment.

Come with your dependents? Well except you have much money in your account, going by what they pay I feel you should travel light pending when you have stabilized, if you are married then you'll have to go with them
Hi Anita Pls I have a question Can the company offering you sponsorships (COS) asked you to apply for your visa fee before they send the COS..though it is actually stated on the role that they won't pay for your visa fees but cover the upkeep money Also during interview they sent questions and ask me to send my answer through a video Please can anyone on healthcare part share light on this Thanks
