Yeah one hundred percent less awkward than just walking in, sitting down and popping out your crazy sandwich from home, eating it, then leaving. Great hack at the system they tried to hack proof

I believe, and I may be wrong about this, that there is a rule amongst restaurants that you can't just up and bring your own food in and eat it, without getting kicked out. Someone will have to check for me on that one. I know we wouldn't do it when I would go to Wendys for school lunches some 20 years ago, unless someone was buying food there.

@@ivenstorm It varies by restaurant, when I was in college there was a Chipotle next to a Five Guys and we would go as a group constantly and get food at one place and bring it in to the other to eat, although somebody always ordered food from the place we ate. For the most part, if you aren't causing problems or taking up a table when there aren't enough for the people being served, most restaurant employees aren't going to want to cause a scene and tell you to leave. I doubt anybody would have said anything at the Subway he went to, they seemed too busy to notice.

Honestly I think today's Subway was the one I would be most petrified to do. So I am amazed at the calm with which it was executed.

It feels like Griffin explicitly saying he wants to shut down lateral thinking inspired Mr. Sandwich to think even harder for some manner of workaround. A great play all around.
