I’m sitting in a Cemetery in an old mill town in Massachusetts listening to this. It’s 8:11pm, it’s raining, it’s December. To think how inconceivable it was at the time back in the 60s to Brian Jones that someday…50+ years later, a guy who is yet to be born (I’m 43) would be listening to his words repeated via something called “cellular” on something called “the Internet” utilizing satellites positioned in outer space…… well…like a never ending ECHO… It might just be enough to blow his mind….it’s surely blowing mine

An excellent series. - Interesting to hear Brian say that The Rolling Stones would be nothing without Mick Jagger. True, but as it turned out, they were certainly less without Brian. He was the only one who could think outside the box.

Awesome video clip,to this day a person gets to find out a little more about Brian Jones,than what we read in the papers or books.one time I ordered a book on Brian Jones it seemed to just talk all the bad things that happened to Brian an when he got kicked out of the stones,the book was so sad I couldn't even finish reading it,r.i.p Brian Jones the first stone🙏

Really interesting observations from the Brian Jones of 1966. I'm going to look up the word anachronism now. He mentioned that word about the topic of marriage. He knew more words at 24 than I do at 57!

Haha. Same. Classical education will do that. I had a crap education. I think all the stones were from comfortable backgrounds. They way they speak shows that.
@lozr3792
@lozr3792 2 года назад
@@Bluepillphil-d1w I agree. Bill Wyman came from a modest (poor ish) background but not the others. I think they like to portray their Chelsea flat sharing as a poverty stricken time but Keith taking a job and washing the dishes occasiona lly would've made a hell of a difference. Never mind the bohemian angst ha ha!!

@@RikiNewtonMusicianSongwriter Liam isn't even close to Brian. Brian was a multi instrumentalists and once part of the greatest rock and roll band on the planet. Liam plays a bit of guitar but he's basically a singer who just stands onstage with his hands behind him bellowing. Plus he's middle aged now and still acts like he's 24 years old. And he did rip of Ian Brown's swagger right down to the walk. At least Noel grew up.

Not when you consider how many illegitimate children as he did. He didn’t seem to acknowledge or support his children. I know his parents wanted nothing to do with those grandchildren after he died. He son talked about it in a book about Brian. He wasn’t a good man, but he was good at music
