BETSYSUEU I think somebody did him I think he’s got about 12 illegitimate kids and those kids of had kids and I bet your Brian Jones has about 18 grand children out there
Long hair and sideburns need to make a fashion~style comeback. Charlie Watts has gorgeous long eyelashes. Keith is absolutely adorable and has beautiful thick hair; love his goofy personality. The children meeting the Stones is cute and endearing, maybe they’re interviewing for a school project? I see Ian Stewart @6:00mark; the original keyboard player. Glad he was happy to be their tour manager and enjoy the golf game at the same time. Absolutely loving this little time capsule, it feels/looks like it’s 100 years ago. Where has the time gone?
Keith and Mick are absolutely adorable. I love how Brian articulated the importance between the audience and musician. The more the crowd reacts, the better the give and take, its a dual relationship. Mick doesn’t need to play anything, his voice and performance art are his instruments.
If you want to see what London looked like during the sixties just purchase the TV series The Avengers. That show shot some countryside of England and its desolate.
Geez, the bags under the eyes are so noticeable even in '65. He had begun thinking of leaving the group by this time. He had already accomplished his goal of popularizing American Blues. The group he formed sealed his inclusion in the four member Pantheon of Rock Gods.
He was thinking about forming a band with the bass player from a group called the shelves and his name is Jeff Harris but I can’t remember who’s gonna be in the band besides us to I’ll do some more research and report back
Keith looks so young here. He only learned guitar 3 or 4 years ago. It's weird they just learned to play and started the Stones. They make it look easy.
Keith pretty much lies here in a very recent interview he talks about his grandfather teaching him guitar. It wasn’t this sudden burst of musical talent that many artists feel they need to possess in order to succeed or simply them wanting to give off the aura of “how is this possible?”
When I was a boy, my favorite Rolling Stone was Brian Jones! Back in the '60's, I was mesmerized by Brian's charisma! He dressed in the nicest fashions and his hair was the coolest! His musicianship was unequaled! His use of the Blues Harp, Slide Guitar, Sitar and other various musical instruments graced Rolling Stones recordings and made them sound unique!!! But, sadly, over the years, I've read negative things about Brian. Drummer Charlie Watts stated, in the Stones' documentary "25X5 The Continuing Adventures Of The Rolling Stones", "Brian wasn't a very nice person." He has been criticized, for speaking in a pedantic manner to show off his English speaking skill which he used to captivate the interviewer and his fans. There is the sad story of Brian Jones' former girlfriend, named Pat Andrews, whom Brian impregnated and refused to pay child support!!! There is a Pat Andrews interview, her beautiful son puttering around, elsewhere on RU-vid where she explains Brian's neglect of his son, who's the spitting image of Brian!!! I was deeply saddened watching this upload!!! and angered at Brian's indifference to his son and Miss Andrews who obviously a very nice young lady!!! She explains that if Brian wasn't successful, nobody would want to know him!!! That he was incapable of having a close friendship with anyone and that he used his charm to get what he wanted out of people. These instances have cast a negative light on Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones!!! He now seems to me to have been sort of a sociopath!!!
There's more than meets the eye on some of these topics. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole regarding Brian on his death. I ended up reading loads about him. The first point of him being not a very nice person is kinda true. He's a polarising person. Very sensitive and quick to anger. He himself isn't the type to hold a grudge while others he upset probably did. That's just how people are. Some are rude but don't hold grudges. some are polite but will hold grudges. No right or wrong there. Just aspects of human nature. The child situation is also a bit more complex. Some famous musicians are almost forced with encouragement to not let children get in the way of their busy touring schedule. He probably should've paid child support money though. Then again, I know women who make these claims and they lie through their teeth. He's quite similar to John Lennon is many ways. Outspoken, sensitive, argumentative, highly intelligent, driven, hardowrking, creative and often combative if he feels he's not getting his way. Both of them have stories of them hitting their partners. John Lennon outright admitted to it and he wasn't proud of it. Neither was Brian. People are complex. The more complex, the more dramatic and difficult they can be. The Beatles and The Stones wouldn't have reached their heights if they didn't have a John Lennon and a Brian Jones in their band. Nice pleasant safe types like Ringo, Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman don't create the right energy for big things to happen.
@@petrslivinski7481 When playing a gig, Bill sent agents into the crowd to recruit the cutest "talent" for his after concert delight. He took advantage of being a Stone in the best way possible.
Yea and the Bobsee Twins were horribly jealous of him. At the concerts the girls screamed Brian's name out not any of the other members. My wife says he was one handsome dude but lost his common sense along the way. Poor chap!
The 5 of them dont all seem that comfortable around each other. Unlike a Beatles interview where there is a relaxed humour and a cemetrical vibe between the 4 these guys cant wait to leave and be on their own. Mick and Keith were friends and hung with their manager, Brian was no longer the clear musical leader though a good spokesman and Bill Wyman really only got on with Brian and Charlie. Charlie Watts was the common denominator here who got along easily with the other 4. To this day 2019 Watts gets along well with all the Stones.
The Beatles had the added advantage of banging out their sound and stage presence in front of crowds at pubs in Hamburg, Germany. This was before they hit the so called big time.
Richards reply about playing is he never played with anyone. Brian Jones taught him everything. Watch how he's rushing Brian and telling him to shut up. Richards does the same to Jagger when they get inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Can't stand anyone in the spotlight before him and can't share the spotlight with anyone! Geez Brian Jones is an incredible speaker here.
keith richards is one of the best rock guitarist, and the Stones best records came with Mick Taylor, not Brian Jones. Jones was a drug addict who faded into oblivion from drug use. The Stones had to fire him.
@@anthonypuccetti8779 Yes, the band is named "Little boy blue and the blue boys", playing blues with Dick Taylor who after created the Pretty Things, he left the early Stones cause Brian decided that he must play only bass.
@petrslivinski7481 I like the part where Jones no longer could "PROTECT" him & RICHARDS HAD! to share uh stage with the HELLS ANGELS in NORTHERN CALIFORNIA. Early December, 1969.
I need subtitles. Unless the kid is blind 10:40 he's sporting some mod glasses. 3-28-65 Copenhagen, Denmark where they played Tivolis Koncertsal (Tivoli Gardens) and again on 3-30-65. Thanks for uploading.
Randy King the leader back then was Brian for sure but I rly hope I can find an interview that asks that back in the 60s because seeing how mick has taken over it’d be interesting to see if he had those intentions at the time
Keith used to comb his hair! Very interesting, was at the london hard eock cafe tuther day all very interesting and seeing the rollies this friday 25.5.18.
Like he didn’t really fit in because he was older they should have a bass player that was maybe 20 years old in 1964 Not some old geezer from the 1950s
Those girls were so 60's Mod pretty. Keith has always been cool. Here he is shy cool. Compared to Wyman who looks like he want to play the part, Keef is just Keef.
Love the 60’s “Mod” fashion look. Back then, my older sister would buy all the current fashion mags. I’d pore over them like fire to a flame. Yes, Keith is the quiet, cool guy.
20:01 The interviewer mentions the colored artist in America, then Brain Jones says, "yes, the marchers" and the guys give him a very odd look. Like their not supposed to talk about (political) that. Interesting.
You definitely see the power struggle between Mick and Brian, only the strong survive in that business, Brian Jones was a different breed of musicians, too deep, many deep feeling people fall victim to drugs and alcohol.
Honey it's crazy how much hate they got how many asshole questions and interviews wow every single interview I would've def flipped 100 times MICK ADMITTING HE CAN'T PLAY ANYTHING LOL Brian helped them out huh
