Stones forever !

I remember they said the tickets were going to be sold on a random lottery. I didn’t believe it would be random so I had money orders ready for 4 pairs of tickets. I was listening on the radio and the moment they went on sale I left work and ran to the post office. I ended up with all main floor seats to the first show. Word spread around my high school that I had 3 pairs of main floor seats for sale. Fun memories.

This is best boot from the whole tour....best Jagger singing...in control....and wow the sound quality qualifies as A+++ thanks!!!!!!!!!!!11

Always enjoyed the transition between Duke Ellington's, "Take the A Train," and the bouncy notes of "Under My Thumb" (Of course the, "Ladies and Gentlemen......")

I first saw the Stones in St Paul- July 10, 1978. I had front row and ticket cost was 11.00. I missed all the riots that happened outside. A security guard brought me inside to were the first door would open. Great memories- seen the Stones many times over the years and waiting for the next tour! : )

My brother and I were at this show. I was 16 at the time. We were in section 234 upper level-sixth row which was slightly behind the stage. The stage was open so there was seating all the way around the upper level. They played really well but Ian Stewart stole the show in my opinion. Just listen to the chops on the piano. He was on a floating platform that moved around during the show. Mick wore yellow football pants which looked pretty odd. The last song (not listed) was a pre-recorded version of Jimi Hendrix playing the star spangled banner.

The 21 November concert in St. Paul, MN was memorable because Jesse Ventura, who worked as a body guard on the Tour of the Americas '75, did the introduction, as he had on their 1978 North American tour.[

I was at this concert in Nov-1981 and the tickets cost $14 per person. Pleae remember, a lottery was held to secure one(1), of the 18,000 seats avail.at the St Paul Civic Center. You had to send in a ck. for $28(good for 2 tickets), and a total of 9,000 env. were drawn from more than 100,000 envelopes rec'd. My envelope was picked & I rec'd. 2 tickets. The security were present that night, as they wanted no repeat of riots that occured during the 78' Stones concert. Kris Ziegler 6/6/2012

wow saw this at civic center with my friend Mike Adams biggest stones fan ever. everybody played the St.Paul Civic Center..stones did 3 times. . jagger ran up are aisle and caught that cherry picker right in front of us. We just about shit. that was fun. RIP bomber..

I have been listening to all the 81's and this one is particularly tasty. Has anyone else noticed the "prerecorded" nature of Hampton 81'? Something always interferes when there should be straight uninterrupted close-ups of essential guitar solos and riffs. Vault LA 75 also ....totally fuckin' annoying! NASA -like!
