Romain Grosjean (DAMS) overtakes Max Chilton, Rodolfo Gonzalez and Johhny Cecotto Jr in two corners in the final stages of the sprint race at Barcelona. Commentators: Will Buxton and Karun Chandhok
I think everybody in their right mind will be sending nothing but good thoughts to him after what happened yesterday... still don't know how he came out of that alive but I'm so grateful he did.
He's come a long way since 2012. I've always respected him since Australia 2012 cos I always saw a lot of potentiall and sheer speed... he just needed to polish up quite a bit... Which he has. I hope he can deliver the goods with Haas. :) Best of luck, Romain.
+mwebber69 The poor guy's luck sometimes is ATROCIOUS (remember when he, incredibly, lost control of his car . But when the bad luck doesn't show up, he can really drive. Didn't any of his critics see the 2013 Japanese GP? He led for half the race! You can't lead in Suzuka if you're a crap driver. It's one of the most challenging on the F1 schedule. Says who? The drivers! Sure, he deserved that penalty for crashing into Lewis Hamilton but hey, I've watched the sport since 1993 and seen far worse. Hell, at one time, around 1980 or later, Nelson Piquet and Eliseo Salazar had a fistfight at the German GP! That's worse than Grosjean's crash.
@@deerlord2363 1) Grosjean wasn't a real rookie, he had an experience in F1 in 2009 and he was very experienced in juniors categories! 2) Raikkonen made a come-back after 2 seasons out of F1 and was off-prime (as we see in Ferrari)!
@@quentinhirschfeld9382 1)He was in F1 for kess than half a season in 2009 and junior categories don't mean anything about F1 performance 'cause there is an extreme gap between F1 cars and junior categories. 2)Kimi wan't off prime at all.2012 Abu Dhabi and 2013 Australia disagree with you.
