For everyone asking what I gave her, it's The Idol of Shar! You can find it in Grymforge, specifically behind the gate at the end of that one walkway with all the traps. Or if you're like me you can walk south of the fast travel point until you reach the first junction, and if you look up from the top down view camera you should see a ledge, use misty step to get on the ledge and you should see the Idol just sitting there, grab the Idol, get down from the ledge by using misty step or feather fall, talk to Shadowheart and there should be an option to give it to her! 😊 Also you can apparently only kiss her if you are playing as a Selunite cleric, I tested it with another character that was romancing her and no luck, so a little bit disappointed by that 😞
The fanbase is labeling the Sharrian faith as a lot of very gay women at this point and I support that. "NooOOoO you will resist kissing the pretty Selunites wOOooOoo"
@@abaddonarts1129To be fair, FR lore might say otherwise, but let's be honest having the Selûneites and the Sharrans in an non-simping battle is pretty peak
Shadowheart: “How am I ever going to explain this to the Mother Superior? Or Shar?” Selunite Tav: “I’ve got a better idea, you don’t. You’re a Shar worshipper right? Lie. Lie your ass off girl.”
That's gotta be worth some brownie points Shar: "You mean to tell me one of my most valuable prospects to bring eternal darkness to the Prime Material has been hiding her relationship with a _Selunite _*_right under my nose?!_* …I'm actually impressed."
I was about to correct you and say she is a tempest domain but then I remembered that I just changer her to that every time. Not exactly in line with the character but so much more useful.
Erevan, my High Half-Elf Selûnite Wizard with Shadowheart, after finding an Idol of Shar at Grymforge together and giving it to her: Erevan: "Just accept the gift and kiss me like you hate me" Shadowheart: "Easily done. How am I ever going to explain this in my prayers...?" Shadowheart: *shares the sweetest and most loving hate-mwah ever with Erevan as Astarion and Karlach look on jealously*
You even get to give her a gift which she outwardly hates that'd be the PERFECT moment for this. "Yes, it's something pretty, easily breakable, and functionally useless. Now either kiss me or kill me but don't just stand there!"
"How am I ever going to explain this in my prayers" Easy! GLORY TO SHAR! I AM ON MY WAY TO CONVERT THE SELUNITE! SOON I SHALL SLEEP WITH HER AND WE SHALL EMBRACE IN THE DARK...I MEAN, EMBRACE THE DARKNESS TOGETHER! Fun fact; she can actually state she things Shar may intend for her to do just that.
First playthrough I decided to romance Shadowheart, I decided to do it as a Selune cleric just to be funny. Can confirm it's the best way to romance her.
She really grew on me, getting more into her story in act 2 really shows the human parts of her, and I want to take her all the way to the end in my party now :)
"how am i ever going to explain this in my prayers..." "your honor- in my defense, they told me to kiss them like they hate them... what else was i meant to do?"
"Shar... I know I am supposed to be a bad girl but I've been a bad girl in a way that might not fit on your evilness portifolio. [...] I kissed a selutine and I liked it. Forgive me lady Shar."
I'm romancing her as a selunite cleric as well and I didnt know she was a shar worshiper at all when I created the character so its been interesting seeing the interactions
agreed. also, if you dont mind mods theres a few mods that let any class pick a deity. theres three that work together for best results. one gives the deity option to all classes, one enables the tags for dialogue options (super important) and theres a third that adds "faithful" and "faithless" options for deities. faithful just means you worship multiple gods (i think it gives you multiple deity tags but cant confirm) and faithless just keeps you without a deity
So Shadowheart does react if your Cleric worships Selune? Well, now I definitely know what class to play as when I romance her haha I did hope it would be the case but hadn't heard anything about clerics getting deity specific interaction.
If I have a cleric is always Shadowheart so I haven't seen the cleric dialogue before, but I'm doing the 12 multiclass achievement rn as a lolth-sworn drow so I'm locked to lolth as cleric. I get so much lolth specific cleric dialogue it's actually crazy. Like I love that the classes get unique dialogue options, I always thought it was cool but the fact that you get different options for each of the many deities you can choose is crazy tbh.
I am currently playing a selune cleric and romancing shadowheart. There is a ton of unique dialogue between them. I've heard being a cleric of shar has a lot too. (Also I respecked shadowheart into a way of shadows monk so we didnt have double cleric. It still fits her theme super well too)
Besides all clerics getting a bunch of unique dialogue based on deity(less deity specific and more “alignment” specific funnily enough) Selune clerics get loads of unique interactions with SH. Personally, I’m planning on doing a light cleric of selune and making SH or a shadow monk or a paladin in my party
"How am I ever going to explain this in my prayers?" Tell her you're using my wallet for free s**t and my body for stress relief! It's probably true...
Shadowheart and Aramil, my wood elf ranger/rogue Tav in my first playthrough were fully monogamous and didn't pay the drow a single coin because he'd rather they belong to each other and nobody else
@@ladyselin35 Yup. That's why I'm not keen on actually going ahead and employing the twins. Feels wrong to do so, not to mention gross given they are twins
@@nathanfivecoate5848 My Durge, who's a ninja (monk/rogue), acts mostly Neutral Good and is romancing Karlach, has the occasional slip. One such slip was a foursome with the drow twins and Astarion... nuff said.
@@molealto My Durge Telendas was a Half-Elf Selûnite Wizard (Cleric 2/Wizard 10) and he was with Shadowheart (both of them resisting the darkness that tries to compell them) and he passed on the drow because he wanted to get used to sleeping with Shadowheart without fear of possession, since he had recently freed himself from the accursed blood flowing through his veins
i do wish they gave us a more aggressive, passionate animation for this, but the idea that shadowheart can’t help herself but be adorable with it is almost as good.
"How am I ever gonna explain this in my prayers." Absolutely sent me 💀💀💀Definitely making my Durge a Selunite cleric just for the extra tidbits from romancing the best girl.
@@aramis4347 there is one from Nyl its shadowheart and mizora its called baldur gate fireside kissing, there is other too from another artist but i kinda forgot their namd
Shadowheart is that D&D player who always plays good aligned characters, and one day goes "I'm playing an evil character this time!" And they just can't commit unless everyone at the table really edges them on to do it.
I get not wanting to take that from cleric, but it feels awkward not having the option considering: Gale is a wizard that worships Mystra the other paladins in the game that aren't oathbreakers literally all worship a god A bard cannot follow the god of bards I don't know about y'all, but almost all of my characters have at the very least minor reverance for one deity or another, it's such an easy flavor point to connect you to the world. but in this game it means I'm always a level behind cause I'm shoehorned into dipping a level into cleric to be able to roleplay *gasp* a lolth-sworn drow following lolth.
@@oneringtorulethemagicarp7199 And gods in the forgotten realms are pretty important to the ordinary person. Thank Lathander for the morning sun, praise Helm for the safe defense of the city, and stop by the shrine of Umberlee to make a donation so she doesn't fucking kill you. It's a world full of gods, all of whom expect either obeisance or appeasement.
It’s bugged out in patch 6, and I purposefully did a Selunite paladin for the specific dialogue (including this) and because of the big, the scene is skipped. Mfer
