A compilation of my favorite Shadowheart lines where she's being sassy, funny and flirty throughout acts 1-3. Subscribe if you want to see more Shadowheart content! #baldursgate3
@@amauriherrera6022I dunno about that one, the wittiness dials back a fair bit after act 2, especially if you go the redeemed route and it's just a lot of straight forward emotions till the final party. She does still have the witty remark here and there but it really feels more like a coping mechanism derived from her initial devotion to Shar and how it skews relationships rather than her true self.
"Would you still love me if there were a worm behind my left eye socket?" 🥺 "I wouldn't even without one. In fact, I might like you more post-ceremorphosis. Mind flayers _are_ said to be intelligent." 💀💀💀
She literally has a conversation like this with Halsin if both of them are in your party. It something like Shart: If I was an animal, which one would I be? Halsin: A goldfish, perhaps? Shart: Well that’s not an answer i was expecting…would you carry me around in a fishbowl, give me flakes of food? Halsin: only the finest.
just realized i've never met the sass queen herself in any of my campaings, both in and out of romance, she's always been the princess type for me (i mean i knew there was some kinda of sass i there but not THAT much). what should i generally do to get this ultimate sasser? is it shar related? my SH always spares nightsong, because i fear she'd turn into an edgelord under shar influnce.
@@EGOR.d07 Most of the sass is in act 1, so you don't need to kill nightsong. Most of this is lower neutral or low approval stuff. Some are just lines she will say regardless as a companion reaction, some she says if you speak to her after significant events in the game.
@@EGOR.d07Don't save her on the nautiloid. If you do, she feels indebted to you and tones down the sass. If you leave her there to die, then you have to earn your way into her graces before she stops needling you. It was basically her default state in Early Access, before they added the option to save her, hence why you often hear people saying that Larian made her nicer. But you can still have the old sass queen if you leave her pretty ass in that pod.
I love how there's a whole entire subplot that requires choosing this one specific class, choosing this one specific aspect of your class, choosing to romance this one specific character, and choosing these specific dialogue options. And the subplot doesn't even _really_ mean anything. It's just different flavor text. You can get the same end result with any class, any race, but fulfilling those _very specific_ prerequisites gets you unique dialogue and implies Shadowheart may convert fully to Selûne in the future. I love it. Larian has earned so much of my respect with how much thought and care they put into the game.
I've never seen 90% of those lines. Shadowheart is always nice to my characters. I had no idea she has this side to her. People who piss her off have wildly different experience apparently lol
@@Sacred_Korok69 The other one is something like S: "Would you have joined the party if you were warned about what we get up to?" A:"I had my hopes..." (≧∀≦)
@@shadow_risen there is so much funny stuff she says its difficult to keep track lol😂 I absolutely lost it when she talked about Bing-Bong in the epilogue
Queen of Shade. *SPOILER:* If you figure out her quest and she chills with her parents in a cottage and a bunch of pets during the epilogue (if you romance her with you as well) it does seem like she has the most peaceful end and went through a huge transformation. Gale becoming a professor and being married to you is the other end that feels really positive and satisfying.
My character moved in with her and her parents into said cottage, and apparently she gets distracted by his butt while he's working on the field. No complaints!
The best one is after you pick "Farting on a Selunite!" SH goes "I would never!" And Tav's face just looks SO disappointed like they had a fart kink and now it'll never be realized. XD
Seriously though - Larian did an awful job with the companions. Theyre all so incredibly likable, its impossible to decide who to take! Couldntbthey have at least included one or two duds? But noooo, they all have to be perfect...
I dunno, Wyll is……. Imo the most boring of them all, although his questline is REALLY good. (I feel bad because I had non-lethal blows toggled on as Shadowheart and accidentally killed him 😂.) he inexplicably took fire damage on the finale hit that knocked him out for whatever reason.
@OffBrandCourier wyll and gale being the player character fits them the most out of all the origins imo, which i think is down to the fact their own conflicts are more present throughout the game and link in with the main story more this is also probably why people see durge as the "real" way to play the game
they have something for everyone and you can ignore the romances you dislike which is great. i couldn't stand astarion and ended up redoing (not respecing, redoing) my run so i could stake him and res him; also switched to rogue from fighter so he'd be perma benched.
"Try not to dream about tying me up." is exactly the kind of line that makes me want to romance Shadowheart. Unfortunately for her, Mama K is simply too powerful.
To be fair, some of these are pretty hard to get if you don't know how to trigger them. Putting this together took me a long time and multiple characters.
On one hand I wanted to experience Shadowheart's sass but on the other always wanted her to like me. Getting her and Lae'zel to at least be almost friends was a great accomplishment...
