Very interesting. I haven't seen an altar like that before. The age of it with it still standing is amazing. What struck me the most though was the workmanship, the people engraved into the stone. It still survives and is a blessing for us to see. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤🥰
seeing Rome like a tourist it seems a magic city. Living here sometimes is like hell expecially during Christmas and holidays in genre. What a pity nobody cares!!!!

So the museum was built around that altar. I don't remember seeing or even knowing about this altar when I was in Rome years ago. It must have been unearthed in recent years or it was hidden by scaffolding while it was being restored which probably took a very long time.
At 33:18...can you go inside the 'Temple of Hadrian' just once, I know it's free to go inside. I checked on RU-vid but everybody seem to skip going inside, thanks.
