Complete and comprehensive coverage of "Kent's Mainline in Miniature", filmed through 2019, as the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway entered its 93rd year of operation.
The RH&DR, opened in 1927, stretches over nearly 14 miles on the Kent coast between Hythe and Dungeness, passing through New Romney and Dymchurch. 2019 proved to be a successful year for the railway, hosting a wide range of events such as the 'Steam & Diesel' Gala, and welcoming back their flagship engine, No1 "Green Goddess", at their 'Green Goddess Returns' event. In addition, the railway welcomed a couple of visiting locomotives from the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway for participation in events.
This video follows the RH&DR over the course of the year, starting in the Winter with their Yellow timetable, and ending with their 'End of Season Parade' in the Autumn. Featuring all of the railways' mainline operational locomotive fleet, as well as visiting engines.
