Snub means “rebuff, ignore, or spurn disdainfully.” The Pianist wasn’t snubbed at the Oscars and won 3 of them and was nominated for 7.

Because in the movie, he helps Charles in finishing the script, also fictional Charlie in the movie credited Donald as a co-writer, to pay homage to him.

What about The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers? Sheesh, it’s bad already bad enough the Oscars snubbed the film in the categories for Best Director, Best Original Score and Song for “Gollum’s Song” by Emiliana Torrini, Best Cinematography, Best Make-Up and Hairstyling and Best Costume Design, but why do YOU have to do the same thing in the Best Adapted Screenplay category? 🤦‍♂️
