It's the Brazilian curse. The lack of work ethic or something. The money and fame gets to them. Happened to Neymar and so many other Brazilian players. You could also argue that it happened to Ronaldo.
@@showwhite7320 Ronaldinho needed to be loved, once the fans in Brazil started booing him and pointing towards him something broke, but I also I don't think consistency was on his mind the moment he started playing.
@@nomorechain That's sad. I don't know Ronaldinho, of course, but he looks like a guy that just wants to be loved. He gushed over Messi. He didn't mind when his teammate stole his goal. He seems like such a nice guy. But, like most Brazilians, I'm guessing his work ethic/willpower was his biggest problem. When you're a kid, playing football is fun so it's easy to train. But, when you get older, other things become more attractive like women. Ronaldinho supposedly went partying every weekend. Couldn't stay away. Alcohol takes a huge toll on the body. It slows you down. You lose stamina. He also gained a lot of weight.
I wish players like Gerrard and Scholes went over there, only way they would of got ballon d'Or. Especially Scholes where he would of been allowed to play as free as he wanted like Beckham here, no way would he of been able to come into the middle and drift around, or even try and take people on, Ferguson didnt even like him making long passes, and Scholes used to get a bollocking if started getting fancy. Everyone who has played with Scholes says he's the best ever and in training when free even better. Fergusons way obviously worked coz it benefit the team. Giggs would of been a monster over there as well.
Galacticos are obviously overrated 18 yr old messi messed with them and Ronaldinho obviously was always outclassed them and not surprising the fans agree by cheering him
