Very unbalanced though that's why they didn't win anything. They should play with 352 formation with Cafu and R. Carlos on the wing if they want to use both Ronaldinho and Kaka as playmaker.
This is different. You could tell their chemistry was on another level at this time. They weren't just playing like teammates, they were playing like best friends.
Being a Brazilian that remembers pretty well that team, I can easily say the 2006 squad was the greatest waste of talent we have ever seen. It is as good as 1970, 1982, arguably the two teams which played the most beautiful football in our history. And much much more loaded than the winning teams of 1994 and 2002. It has had its moments from 2004 to 2006, but It failed to build a collective and cohesive unit in the end mainly due to the coach's choices, arrogance and the fact that some of the great players were not in their physical peak when the world cup arrived. In 2006 our optimism was unmacthed! We definitely thought we were going to win without trouble. It is even to these days as a great disappointment as a humbling lesson.

i remember watching this brazlilian team play in the world cup. to date i've never seen another national team be its equal. they were jaw dropping to watch. totally unstoppable.

Memorable match for us Brazilians, the Argentines were taking the cup, winning 2x1 but in stoppage time they started to provoke with the ball and mock the young Brazilians, infuriated they went up to the attack like crazy and in the last move, Adriano hits a phenomenal shot from long distance to the joy of the narrator and the whole country, we won on penalties and the Argentines left the stadium embarrassed, under the shouts of "respect Brazilian football"
Remember that day, I was 10 years old. It was probably the best day of my life watching all these legends play against the city I live in. It was just something special that I will never forget and will be grateful to my uncle who made it possible ❤

What a magnificent striker is Ronaldo. He may plays at the back , at the front , he can plays simple with one pass only, he can dribbles better than any striker in world. And just add Ronaldinho with no limit creativity oouuf they can unlock every door.

I remember watching this live. I started watching football during the 1998 World Cup as a 5 year old and instantly became a Brazil and Ronaldo fan. At this point I thought Brazil were invincible and was absolutely certain that Brazil would dominate the 2006 World Cup and Ronaldo would easily get the golden boot. Sadly the magic of Brazil has slowly faded since the 2006 hype but hopefully this year will be the 6th.

Uma das melhores seleção que o Brasil já montou . Só tinha fera , o banco era a mesma coisa. Os caras passeavam em campo , jogavam fácil, talvez tenha sido isso que não levaram o título . Se tivesse jogadores ruins , raçudos e esforçados , talvez teríamos o título.
