Hi, I have a 2012 Mini Countryman and I have the roof rack and I would like to put it on the car but what’s the distance between the two raks on the car ?
Question: I’ve just bought these second hand and I’m unsure as to what the black caps on the end are for? They come out fairly easy and are attached to metal rods which slide in, I just have no idea what they’re are there for and if they should be so loose? Thanks in advance

Hello @ThuleBringYourLife, I have a Opel Astra H 2004 with fixpoint, exactly the same as the car in the video. Why the kit for my car is 3025 ? This 183 kit, should fit on my Opel Astra H 2004 ? If not, why ? As it is exactly the same fixpoint system. Thanks in advance

Hi Klaus, Not all kits do have the rubberbase that goes between the roof and the foot itself. In your case, please take a look at yout fitting instructions. Find the drawing where we show the content of the kit: if there are no rubbers shown there, your kit doesn't have any.
Hi! I have a Saab 93 Sport Hatch (Estate). I bought the Thule Wingbar, the Thule Rapid System 753 and the specific XT Kit 3065 but the item fixes too high. In which item box is supposed to find the foot base. The four items that the girl in the video catches at 0:06. In my 753 Rapid System it doesnt appear anything like this. Thanks
Hi, Thanks for your question. The fit kit for your car, XT Kit 3065, differs slightly from the kit featured in this video. One of the differences is that there is no cover over the hatch for the XT Kit 3065, and this may give the impression that it’s fixed too high compared to the kit in the video. Nothing is missing in your kit (no foot base is included in XT Kit 3065). Please turn to your Thule dealer for further assistance and support, they should be able to help you out.

Hi James, we are sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, if you do not have the number and cannot see anything on your locking barrel/around your key hole, you will have to replace the entire locking barrel. Then our advice is to take the help of a locksmith who can open the lock and remove the locking barrel for you. Kind regards, Thule
Why does your website not make any mention of needing to buy the rubber feet separately? I come to this installation video and the first thing the example does is attach the rubber feet - which aren't included in the 753 set or with the bars. Moreover, there's no mention of the rubber feet in the user manual for this kit. I've now got to search your website and somehow match the rubber feet to this kit. Very very poor.

I don't think you could have made a less informativevideo. You need words, close ups the small parts, and directions. Not annoying music and 'oh look I did it one minute".
