I forgot that the Doctor said Rory couldn’t repair himself. The audios have ignored that, so I guess he was wrong or Rory was a very advanced nestene duplicate.
I took that to mean his body isnt human our bodies are able to heal and repair over time like cuts and bruises whereas because he is a machine a dent will stay permanently unless he fixes it himself.
You're so right! Eccleston will forever be my favourite of the new Doctors, but I'd certainly not argue that his entire series (season lol) was the best of NuWho
The one major critique I had with the Matt Smith years was the overuse of Dalek's. During the Tennant years you would see them once in a while, and always in a grand fashion. During the Smith years the Daleks were overused.
@@porpus99 I had never consciously realized it until you said something but you're totally correct! Still, if that's one of the major critiques, that's some dang good Who! 😂❤️
@@porpus99you're kidding, right? On the Smith era, I can think of a total of four episodes excluding the last two Specials with the Daleks. During RTD's first run, the Daleks were one of the main threats of every series finale except three, which had a two part episode with the Daleks.
He may be aware that he's an Auton but he's still only newly aware of it and probably didn't know how to control his abilities at this point. 2000 years later when he shoots the Dalek, he's had time to learn how he works.
@@ankari5257 By that logic, that would only apply to Rory then. Amy was dead. But that's not how that works. They have memories of a timeline that never happened.
“Your Girlfriend isn’t more important than the whole universe.” (Rory knocks the Doc’s lights out) “SHE IS TO MEEE!” ♥️😭😭🤗 Every girl wants a Rory! These moments make him the manliest man out of Any robot. I wish they just kept him like this with funny bits. When he’s a wimp, it takes you out of it.
You're just a sexist who thinks that objectifying men into boytoy beasts of burden is okay, and yet you're hypoctritical enough to not realise that it's no better than all the people who objectify you into a girltoy broodmare. Men are people to, we're all human beings. We all have emotions and needs to maintain our mental health and wellbeing. Just how heartlessly monstrously evil are you, to consider half the population of your fellow human beings to be wimps and "not the manliest man" when they dare to go against harmful outdated sexist norms/standards in order to express and convey those emotions and who they are in the exact same manner that you consider yourself allowed to do. And just how self-centered and arrogant are you that you consider someone imprisoning themselves for two thousand bloody years as merely "Oh so romantic!" and something that all men should strive towards. Would you be able to wait around in an empty hollow cave for that long? Could you even imagine doing so for ten years, much less two thousand? Also, a man physically assaulting another man is not romantic, and any woman that's so disqusting as to consider two human beings fighting for her sake as such should be called out on it immediately. I would feel guilty from seeing my partner get hurt in a fight for my sake, and if you have any semblance of a soul within you, then you should feel the same.
The Dr. Who episodes that features characters dealing with obscene lengths of time are always really affecting. 2000 years here, billions to break through the prison in that castle, idk it seems to add weight to things
According to the writers, the title of the episode's a pun on the consummation of Amy and Rory's marriage. In other words, they had a "Big Bang" Thanks a lot, writers. Now I'm imagining Karen Gillan porking
